I wear a 7 1/2 shoe and always wear a 37 in birkenstocks so don't go by their recommended size. Size down. These are very cute and comfy. I haven't had the soft footbed before. It's like wearing a slipper.

In my opinion, the suede strap was a tad flimsy (thin) and didn't seem like t would last a long time. I could be wrong but after having tried three styles of Birkenstock sandals I don't love them enough to take the chance.

I purchased these in a size 41 because I normally wear a women's US size 10.5. I would say the footbed is about half a size too small for me. I considered exchanging them for a size up, however the straps on this shoe are way too large and do not fit snugly even when tightened all the way. I would also say there isn't anything soft about this footbed, and there doesn't seem to be much difference between this and their standard footbed. I will be returning.

The width and length are true to size for me in that I always get a 37R even though I wear a size 7M in ladies; however, the straps were too loose and already on the last hole. I know from experience that the suede is going to stretch out and I can't have my foot flopping around. I also did not want to put another hole even though these feel great.

The color and material were very cute (yes, straps are a bit floppy but not a problem for me), but the width was pretty large and the length of the shoe seemed longer than my other birks. I ordered a size 39 (i'm an 8) and the regular width. I returned them and still debating on getting another pair because i'm unsure if I should get the 39s in a narrow size, 38s in the regular size, or 38s in a narrow size.

The bands of the shoe don't stay up like leather would so not always an easy slide in. The sandal made my feet look wider than they are. Was sad to return them. Very comfortable and supportive.

I own several pairs of Birks in the Arizona style. They are my absolute go to sandal that I wear year round out of a closet of over 200 pairs of other shoes, sandals and boots. I will say that this particular model with the soft suede straps is my least favorite for a very silly reason. Being a soft strap, it "falls", so it is not an immediate 'slip your foot in' when putting them on (must lift straps). Small inconvenience, because when on, they are as awesome as every other pair of Birks I love!

I have three other pair of Birks that I practically live in. I have an 8-wide foot and a size 38-Narrow in a Birk normally fits me perfectly. This pair is definitely shorter than my other 38-N Birks and narrower in the toe box. I measured them against my other Birks. My toes hit the rim when I walk. Very sad that I have to send them back.

I have owned the oiled tobacco ones twice and thought I would try something different. I also decided I would try the narrow at the same time since I normally wear the regular. Although the suede mink color was beautiful, I did not like that the straps did not stand up on their own like the oiled leather ones do making it easy to slip on and off. I also figured the suede would not hold up as long as the oiled leather. The softer foot bed is comfy but I am correct in purchasing the regular width as these were extremely too narrow for me and were cutting into tie sides of my feet. Thankfully with Zappo's free returns I can send these back and get my old faithfuls.

If you want these and are a woman they do run a lot wider and a bit bigger. The color is beautiful. My feet are wide but these were too wide

I have about 20 pairs of Birks with several pairs of Arizonas. This suede style ran about a half size small.

The color shown in the photo is not accurate to the color of the sandal. The actual color is more taupe, not gold.

Ordered my usual 38 for my 7-7.5 feet and the fit’s perfect as always. The only thing is, they seemed a little “too tried on.” Zappos quality control hasn’t been that great lately as this is not the first pair I had a problem with. I kept them, but only because I didn’t want to deal with the return. Will have to rethink ordering shoes from Zappos in the future…too bad because Zappos used to be the best, until they got involved with Amazon.

Seems like a lot of money for a shoe that is too uncomfortable to wear. I have/had 5 pairs of Birk sandals and clogs and have loved them all. Even though this pair is soft suede, it rubs my toe so they are spending their life in my closet. I wouldnt recommend them. They might be OK w/ socks but who wears socks with sandals.

The comparable women's size 8 was much too large for this shoe. ordered on the basis of women 8.

Not happy at all with this purchase. The structure of the buckles are flimsy. I excepted a better quality of material for the cost of this shoe. Thinking about returning this item.
