I have worn Birkie’s my whole life. The suede are the by far the most comfortable. It doesn’t irritate the top of my foot at all. I was concerned about the narrow foot bed, but the soft foot bed allows the shoes to mold to my foot shape. Since most feet tend to swell later in the day, I’ve noticed some irritation on super hot humid days (that’s Florida for you). Overall, I wouldn’t change anything about these. The color ‘mink’ is a magnificent color, matches with everything I wear.

I love, love the color. The suede straps are super soft, the soft footbed is wonderful. I have some foot problems as I’m getting older so I am excited about the new soft beds. These are comfortable right out of the box with no breaking in needed. Love these.

I decided to try another style with soft foot bed a few weeks ago although I’ve worn regular Birkenstocks for over 25 years. But since developing foot problems this year I decided to try them. They were so comfortable that I decided to get these... living the color and the softer footbed...

Mink is an absolutely gorgeous color! Bought these as a gift for my daughter. Ordered according to the size chart, but they were too big. She loved them, so we returned an ordered the next size down. She liked the little bit narrower strap and the lightweight feel.

I'm not sure why I'm the only one who thought these shoes were small but I'm a size 8-8.5 in every other brand. This was my first pair of Birkenstocks so I ordered my usual 39 regular. I found the bottom small and the straps too big. So I exchanged for a 39 narrow. Then the straps felt perfect but the footbed too small. I've heard they eventually mold to your foot but my toes were practically hanging off the edge of the footbed. Today I exchanged for a 40 narrow. Hopefully this helps because these sandals are gorgeous! I really love the Mink suede color with the rose gold buckles. It's a saturated color that's great for a bronzed summer look!

Fit true to size (my usual 38) and super comfy.

These shoes are heavenly. The suede is so soft and feels so good on the foot. The soft footbed is wonderful because it’s immediately comfortable without breaking them in like the regular footbed. I did have to return them only because the complexities of my foot problems. I have foot drop due to foot surgeries otherwise these would have worked.

I have a few other Birkenstocks, and bought these because they came in the suede uppers, and are a color I didn't already have. These fit as comfortably as my other Birkenstocks, but even moreso because the suede is so soft. There is no breaking in period. As for the sizing, if you already own Birkenstocks, these fit the same, so in regard to the recommendations above about sizing down, that would be only from your regular shoe size, not Birkenstock sizing.

BLUE SUEDE SHOES!!! I love the soft footbed. The Zappos sizing is correct for ladies. I'm a 9 1/2 and size 40 regular fits me perfectly. Birks are supposed to be worn loose with 1/4 inch at least open space around the toes and the straps loose. Someone else would say, "Those are too big," buts that's the way they are supposed to fit. These are not supposed to be snug. I love the suede Arizona because the suede is sooooo soft. It's my favorite upper.

Love the navy Suede Arizona’s. I have several pair of this style Birkenstocks and when I saw the navy knew I needed them too. The suede is extremely comfortable and I prefer the soft footbed. One of the benefits of buying through Zappos is their liberable return policy so id you are on the fence don’t hesitate although I doubt when you see them on your foot you will want to return them.

These are so comfy and I love the blue suede with the copper-colored buckles.

These are so comfortable. I did keep them & really enjoy them. However, the color/texture of mine differs from the pic & some I’ve seen in stores. The suede on mine is not very soft & the color is darker.

I bought a pair of size 37 Birkenstocks (my typical shoe size) in 2017, and am looking for a pair to replace them. I heard that the sizing for Birkenstock had changed recently, so I decided to order a size down (36). Even *those* were too big! I wanted to exchange for a 35 but they’re never in stock. wanted to keep them so badly!

I’m looking for cushier footbed for plantar fasciitis, plus My 2 outer toes hit the edge. Not right for me, but obviously they are perfect for many.

This was my first Birkenstock purchase, so if you're a newbie like me, consider that these may run more on the half sizes than full. I measured my foot and was exactly 39 CM, however the footbed of the shoe had quite a bit of space both in front of my toes and behind my heel. I also found that the material across the bridge of the foot was SO loose! I was on the smallest notch and there's no way it would stay on my foot. I thought to myself, "I guess this is why they wear socks with sandals!?" At this this price, I think I'll try to find a suitable alternative slip-on sandal that runs true to full sizes.

I'm a 9. Chose a 40. 39 is better so if in doubt get 2 and return.

I first ordered smaller size per suggestions but realized that was for a regular shoe. My previous Birkenstocks were 38 regular width. The new ones are great but a little narrow in the middle, that could just be my foot. Breaking them in around the house and should be fine if and when it ever warms up in PA.

Love the mink color! Unfortunately, these sandals did not fit my size 11M woman's feet. The straps are too long and I had to use the tightest hole and I still had some wiggle room. I suspect that over multiple wears the leather will begin to stretch and I will have to add another hole--I prefer not to do that. The length, however, was perfect but since my toes are a bit "boxy" and not angled, these unisex sandals did not work for me. My 3rd- and- 4th toes were sitting at the rim of the toe area which made it uncomfortable to walk. I tried the 11N/M size at a local store, but the toe area was too narrow for my feet--again, my toes were sitting at the rim of the toe area. The shoes are great, but still took awhile to get use because I usually have a higher height heel.

Man, I am utterly confused by these shoes. The mink suede is gorgeous and the style is great, exactly what I was looking for! However the sizing is just strange. I've read reviews everywhere for these shoes and have never seen such polarizing opinions. I decided to go with my trusted size 39 because I'm a true 8-8.5 in every other brand. And I ordered the Regular fit expecting that I'd probably need to trade them in for the Narrow fit since I have an average foot. Most people seem to think they run large & wide. However, I tried them on and they're quite narrow and short! This is my first pair of Birks so are they supposed to fit like this? Should I just break them in? It's just so weird. I'm hesitant to order a 40 since I never have in my life, but perhaps that would help. I wonder if Birkenstock has manufacturing issues with sizing? Could explain why every pair is so different for everyone! Any advice from Berkie-veterans would be appreciated!

I love the color and the feel of the soft footbed. I originally ordered the regular width in my true size but returned them for the narrow.
