eh decent. comfortable for the most part. since they're shorter slip ons the front tongue rubs against your leg and gets irritated

After 18 months of wear the sole finally started separating from the upper. They've been extremely comfortable and convenient. Sole has held up well and I would argue they are some of the most comfortable boots I've worn however the adhesive wearing out in less than 2 years is disheartening for this reason they get 3 stars

Shoe runs narrow it crushed my toes together. Soul of shoe began to separate from leather uppers after only 3 weeks of working.

Still breaking in, so far no complaints! To soon to rave

I bought these exact boots a year and half ago. The completely fell apart around the one year mark. I contacted the company multilpe times about it and never recieved a response. The boot itself is great. Very comfortable, no breaking in needed. I highly recommend them. I just hope you don't have a problem and need something addressed because they don't ever contact you back.

recommend going with extra wide, medium is very tight

Purchased a pair for work wore them for about 2 -3 months and the Steele toe cap moved and or dropped and started to irritate and cut my feet so I could no longer wear them had to switch back to my old boots

They are comfortable and good material but after only about 2 1/2 months of me wearing them the steel toe came out of place and started bruising my toes so I had to buy a whole new pair I'm not sure if it was just manufactured wrong because it hasn't happened in previous boots I really liked these boots but unfortunately I can no longer wear them or buy anymore for this reason

Boots are to tight around toes and never broke in correctly asked about a return since they were worn not a option okay that's fine I understand but go back to when you made good work boots for good hard working people

I bought this boot to tour construction sites with clients. I also needed something to work around the yard mending stone fences. I thought it could do double duty but it can't. There is ZERO ankle support and your foot can roll very quickly over uneven surfaces and it sucks off in mud puddles. I wish I could exchange this pair, but they sat new in the box for months before I needed them.

I bought a half size larger in a wide. Thinking the leather would stretch out a little. I wore them for one week and they rubbed raw spots on my big toes and little toes.! I'm about to have to buy something else. Very disappointed, always heard Ariat boots were so comfortable!

Worst boot to do construction ,they look fancy but they not durable

I bought the groundbreaker Chelsea with high hopes. I had heard nothing but good things about Ariat boots and the Chelsea looked great. When I first got them they felt pretty good. I was working on a research boat and after long days, the balls of my feet ached, so I got some more comfortable insoles, which kind of helped but I still had horrible discomfort. My toes would get numb and my feet would stay wet. I have never hated a pair of boots as much as these. The tread wore down and the steel in the toe exposed after just two months. On my last day on the boat, I tossed them. I didn't even consider bringing them home.

I had high hopes for these boots but after 8 months of work around the farm they are going in the garbage and my feet couldn't be happier. When I purchased the quality felt nice. Wasn't 100% sure about comfort but decided to start wearing and breaking them in anyway. Overall they were the most secure Chelsea style boot I've ever worn, no heel slipping, etc. However after a few weeks they didn't get much better across the ball of my foot and were rubbing my toes in an awkward way. I just chalked it up to break in. I should have ditched them then. I continued to wear until I started getting numbness in my left foot. By that time the leather looked like it had been rode hard and put up wet and the soles had chunks missing out of them from working on dirt and gravel. For the price point and brand reputation I'm very disappointed. Won't be recommending or purchasing Ariat again.

These are the least comfortable boots I've owned. I should have returned them because I thought they would break in, but too late now. Run vary narrow (I have the same size in other Ariat boots that are great). I would not recommend these ones.

I bought these in width D because I have narrow feet. After wearing them for less than a month to break them in, both toes rub against the side of the boot and is very painful. Tried calling to exchange for the wide pair and was told the boots had to be unworn.
