I was in the market to replace an old pair of Tony Lama TW1019 lined pull-up work boots which I liked and are still working strong with a pair of pull-up work boots with steel toe that are not full length. This led me to Ariat Gorundbreaker Chelsea boots. So after careful consideration through reviews and constant internet searching to gather as much feedback as I could I decided to pull the trigger and buy a pair. So in come the boots and I immediately apply a layer of Obenauf's LP as I do for any boot. The boots upon initial inspection looked flawless and all stitching and construction appeared to be great as one would expect for an over $100 pair of boots. Now with any work boot those of you who have worn them for years know regardless of the brand, you have to break them in by bedding the heels from about 3-5 weeks of wear to seat them. I am here to say these did not require that, or at least for me like my Tony Lama's did. I was pleasantly surprised and I even wore a thinner sock with great fit as well as a boot sock that was thicker which worked great too. Let me add a caveat to this review.....this is a early on review and to durability and long term wear I cannot comment on yet but will plan to do so once I get about a year on them. But I will say this to date, very comfortable; well made; no need for break in of the heel and the style of these very well done. Now if you proof your boots like myself, Obenauf's will make them darker in color so be aware if you use the same product and want the lighter shade of color.

I have had these boots for one year now, and have probably worn them at least 5 days per week since. These are the comfiest, most durable, versatile boot that I have ever owned. If I new these were ever discontinuing I would literally buy three pairs.

I bought these a couple weeks ago for work and they're really nice to comfortable they look good and they're not really heavy great boot all around

After years of boots only lasting 6 months I finally found a pair that separates itself from the competition. The only knock is that they weigh 3lbs. Im going to try the Turbos next because they weigh less. All in all these boots provided great protection and is constructed great as well! Very good looking boot.

I have purchased alotmof boots in my.time on this planet. And this one boot is a top performer. I usually dont.leave 5 star reviews but this one here deserves it. Good luck in your shopping ! P.s. get toe protectors for these boots they will last a great deal longer!

As an aircraft electronics technician I spend 7-9 hours a day, majority of the time is spend on concrete. This is my second pair of Arait boots. They are far superior to any others I have tried.(Wolverine,Timberland, John Deere, Caterpillar). I'm presently looking for a pair of casual boots, they will definitely be Arat.

At 260lbs walking on concrete for 12+ hours, these performed less than desirable. Soles are pretty thin so after about the first 2 weeks, they are done when the shoe breaks in. Will swap soles and hope for the best

Boots are to tight around toes and never broke in correctly asked about a return since they were worn not a option okay thats fine I understand but go back to when you made good work boots for good hard working people

After looking at Chelseas from other brands and reading the mixed reviews. I came across these and didnt see one complaint about these and I see why. I love the dark leather, I can wear them all day and they look amazing. I might get the square toe model next.

Comfortable and look not bulky. Ive been using them for work every day, standing a lot and I dont feel too uncomfortable by the end of the day.

My son loves these work boots. He is on his third pair. Two of the pairs fell apart but part of the issue is he puts them to the test. He loves that he can just slip them on.

The boot is very well made and the fit was as expected. This style was a much easier break in than other styles I have worn in the past. I am very pleased and highly recommend.
