TOO HEAVY. Going back. I don’t understand how anyone would enjoy walking around in these.

These were very wide compared to my other two pair of Bogs, Andy I have wide feet!. I had to return them as they were just too sloppy to walk in.

I have had my first pair of classic mid bogs for several years now, and I love them more than any shoe I have ever owned. I love the handles and how easy they are to slip on and off. They are perfect for around the farm and any work outdoors. I also bought a second pair of classic talls to keep nice for wearing to the office in the winter. It is now time to retire my mids and I was super excited to replace them with these neo classic mids since they are advertised as being more light weight, and since I wear mine year rounds, they do get very hot and are overkill in the summer. While these neo classics are definitely light weight and extremely comfortable, they are sadly just way too bulky to keep. As a previous reviewer said, it's like a totally different boot than the normal bogs. They also run a full size too big, compared to my three other pairs of bogs. If they would have kept the same shape as the classics, these would have been perfect. Unfortunately, now my only option is to go back to the classic mids, which now have the shiny black rubber that I don't like, and are too bulky for year round use. Last summer I bought a pair of short, slip on bogs that I think were called a garden or rain boot, but they weren't near as comfy so I continued wearing the classic mids around with my shorts and tank tops on 90 degree days. I was really hoping these were the year round solution but they are not.

Returned size 7 because they were too big and asked for a size 6. They sent me size 8 - a size LARGER. Not paying attention - no quality control on orders going out. Nice boots but too much of a pain to deal with.

Our whole family has bought Bogs for years. We decided to try the Neo-Classic Mid for farm/work boots since they are smaller and lighter. Well, sadly they are terrible! They rubbed my daughters legs raw the first time she wore them. We are so disappointed and would return them if we could, but since she wore them for a full day at work, we cannot. Biggest waist of money!!!

Warm and comfortable but I am amazed that a winter boot would have such terrible tread on the soles. I'm pretty sure non-slip soles have been around for a pretty long time, so I don't understand why they chose the wavy lined tread for these boots. They usually don't slip in the forward/backward direction, but the lack of cross-hatching in the tread design, causes them to slip sideways. I live in an area that has snow and ice all winter long and I have fallen a few times and almost fallen several more. They have gotten even worse with age (this is their 3rd winter). In the past I had Sorel boots that did not slip, and also lasted for 25 years! Not a fan of these boots.

I had high hopes for these boots as I live in Minnesota and I need sturdy boots for walking outdoors. They are definitely warm but very uncomfortable for long periods of walking outside. They've started to bruise the inside of my ankle, which makes it painful to walk with them on, as well as rub the back of my ankles. They would likely be fine for standing outside without a lot of movement involved, but not for taking winter walks.

I'm a size 9 and my foot was swimming in it, I would order a size smaller. Returned for a smaller size.

Sadly, I don't think I can wear Bogs boots. This is the second size I've tried in these--first was overall too big. This one is barely long enough (size 11) and so wide that my foot slips around inside. So I've returned these also.

Had to return because they were too small and have tried them in the next size up and too big. Wish they came in half sizes! I have a really old pair of these boots and just love them and sad I couldn't get one of these sizes to work. Bogs has obviously changed the style as they seemed much wider and clunkier. I also have the Suavie style Bogs which run true to size and fit perfectly.

I bought this boot for all seasons small scale veggie farming in the PNW. I chose this style because the harder plastic had higher coverage than other bogs of similar all-together height. I wanted good waterproof effect. I am satisfied with the boot in this factor. However, the plastic part is thinner than I would have wished, even for a summer rated boot, I'm anticipating that cracks will form sooner than later where the toe creases from repeated crouching and kneeling. A visible crease is already forming after two weeks of work. Additionally, the sizing is definitely large and much wider than other Bog boots I have owned. I really don't have much support side to side, and front to back, my foot slides around too much even with a thick winter sock. I wear a size six. Finally they are rated at 58 degrees fahrenheit even though it is it listed under the winter boots on the website! They are a bit cold, since the toe area has little insulation. I'm very disappointed after spending a good chunk of money thinking these boots would last me a few years of farming. I wish I had retuned them before I tried them out on the farm.

The neo-classic mid boots are clunky and large. I went a full size down and they were still too big. I am returning for classic mid boots, which have a better fit and don't look or feel as much like wearing clown shoes.
The linen color was cute. They pulled on/off easily, and they are clearly warm enough for snow and ice.
It would be really helpful for Bogs to use a model to show the look of the boot on a person from various angles rather than just the boot alone.

I was excited to see these new boots this year but was disappointed when I received them. First, the sizing on these does not correspond to the sizing on the Classics, which I have worn for years. On these, the sevens were too small and the eights were too big. Second, this new style looks HUGE in person (you can't tell online). I thought the Classics looked big, but these new ones really look large. So, I've gone back to the Classics, which are happily still being made!

Too small and also very clunky. Rub on my heel as well so never wore them outside of trying them on and walking around the house. Lost email with order number, please send so I can change this review :)

The fit on this new style boot was horrible. Wider and not the same comfort. Please BOGS don't change the last on the classic mid boot.
So many of us ladies who do real farm work appreciate the lighter weight and grab handle, and more.

I have owned an original pair for 15 years. The old ones are far more comfortable. The soothed is soft, warm and waterproof. The sole auctually bends. The new ones feel like a piece of iron is on the bottom they do not bend and are not comfortable ! Too bad, I returned them

Seam along the bottom popped open at five months. Customer service will refund money, but won't replace with a similar boot, says they don't make that style anymore. It was a neoclassic mid, so seems like a replacement in a different color would be simple. Bought because of the guarantee, since all the reviews I had seen from bogs said they sent a replacement pair. Nope. Just a gift card, which is prefer not to use in cheap bog boots. Crappy boots. Crappy service.

I really wanted to like these, they are shorter and lighter. I expected them to be the perfect work boot. Sadly though, the shorter height of the boot causes them to rub my leg raw (even with tall socks), so they are useless and were a waste of money. I would return them if I could for something else, but I had to wear them to know there was a problem. Now I am stuck with boots I cannot wear.

Sorry I like the boot, but for Minnesota winters they are not warm at all. They would be great in the fall and spring but not winter.

I have a pair of the wide calf boots that were heaven the moment I put them on. The heel sunk in and cushioned from day one. For this year I thought I would order a shorter boot so I could wear them into spring but sadly bogs has cheaped out and these boots are horrible 2023! The inserts are hard as rocks and the boots are super super narrow, feels like it's strangling my foot from all sides. I've been a champion of bigs boots for years but I guess now I'm going to have to go shopping for a new farm boot company. This is what happens when a company starts making fashion boots instead of good comfortable work boots.
