The advice on the website for sizing is size up. So since I wear a 9.5 I ordered a 10. They were way too large. I attempted to exchange them, no smaller size in the same deal. So I had to pay $10 to return them. Still have not received my refund. I will not order from Boggs again.

Not warm enough for 40F. I wear an 8 in all other boots and Nike but I needed a 7 in these and that fit well with thick socks. These are not very warm though. I was out working in 40 degree weather for only a few hours at a time and my feet were numb within 30 minutes even with thick alpaca socks. I had high hopes for these as I need to work on my property during the northwest winters while it's cold and rainy/ snowy. These don't fit the bill. So disappointed.

Better than standard women's stuff which seems to prioritize fashion over function but the calf is small and the ankle/heel is loose while the toe box feels weirdly too narrow. I put some super feet in which helped a lot.
Which the toe box was bigger and the ankle/heel/mid foot had some inner elastic or support structure.
Warm enough but not no where to negative whatever it says.

they are big and cold also are rubbing the the skin off the back of my heal. I put some sheep skin inserts in
hoping it would help keep my feet warm.

These are my third pair of BOGS. This is the second pair that have leaked. The first pair that leaked right away. This current pair that leaks started leaking after a few weeks. It's impossible to keep my feet warm during a cold Michigan winter when my feet are wet. Disappointing

This is a tricky one since I do think these boots deserve more stars. They are the warmest Bogs I ever owned and I have owned many pairs. They helped me get through farm chores at negative 20! The soles are super grippy. BUT if I am not wearing thick socks, they almost crumple a bit at the back of my ankle causing a lot of discomfort. I do have thin ankles so maybe it's just a me problem. That said, it makes them less versatile than my other Bogs.

I love my plain black bogs, however, I wanted a better sole with a better grip so I ordered these.
The back of these where the rubber is is not as high as the plain black ones and digs into my ankle with every step. :(

I was excited for my first pair of bogs; however incredibly disappointed. They are comfortable, stylish, easy on/off. HOWEVER my toes are freezing and it's only 17 F.

These boots rubbed me wrong. Right above the back of the heel. Regular boot socks aren't sufficient with these boots. You need REALLY thick socks to prefect your legs. They are waterproof and warm though.

I had hoped that I found the perfect pull-on, warm dog-walking boot for this winter, but this boot unfortunately didn't work for me.
While I enjoyed the tall, neoprene shaft, the grippy sole and easy-to-pull-on style, the back part of the boot scraped against my shins when I walked quickly throughout the house -- making it extremely uncomfortable and causing it to scrape my skin. I was wearing leggings (thinner ones, I'll admit), so it's perhaps due to the fabric; however, that's my usual outfit during the winter (and really all year long, tbh), so it was a deal-breaker.
Was sad to return these, as they were otherwise good!

Was not impressed with the general width of the boot. There was no way my calf was fitting in it. My toddler could probably barely fit her calf in it! Unless you are very slim (NO muscular calves!) you will not fit your legs in these boots. Very unfortunate, and seemed just silly to me how small these were width-wise.

Here is what I do like. These boots have a great tread and they are a great boot for wet weather. However, I bought these boots because they are cold weather rated to minus 58F. Say what? My feet were cold at 20 above zero and that was with extra socks! I also ordered a size 7 boot because I measured my foot according to the sizing chart and I normally wear a size 6.5. I should have ordered a size larger, but fortunately they have stretched somewhat. In a nutshell, if you live in a climate where the weather is truly cold -as I do - and your feet aren't bricks of coal, don't buy these to keep your feet warm.

I was really disappointed with how pronounced the camo looked in person. It looks really subtle online but it's not. I would have returned, but I bought on sale and would've had to pay shipping.

What I like about this boot is the color and it keeps the snow/wet from my feet.
What I don't like is the blisters - at the location were the two different materials meets is around my ankles and it rubs to the point of blisters when I do my daily farm chores. I wear socks and pants and it just rubs rubs rubs. I was hoping these would make good spring/summer boots but you have to wear pants and thicks socks because of the issue where the two materials convege and rub on your ankles.
Next time I would just go with a full rubber (one material) boot - this design is flawed and painful.

I am a size 8 in my running shoes so I ordered a 8 at first and it was almost 3 fingers from my big toe bigger. So I ordered a 7 and they are a little small and I can't wear socks with them because of that. Also, my feet definitely got cold still. I purchased these for my winter boots and work boots but I don't think they will make the make the winter.

I was so excited to get Bogs boots for myself after buying them for my kids for years but after just two short seasons in them, I can't take it any more. The soles are great and grippy in mud and snow and they're super warm, but they're rubbing the back of my leg raw. Right above my ankle in the back where the boot's rubber spine goes from rigid to more flexible, it bends in toward my leg and if I don't have on at least two pair of thick socks, my skin will be broken from the rubbing. It's a serious design flaw.

I'm on my second pair in 2 years, as much as I love the look and feel of these boots, I cannot recommend them, they simple don't last. Both pairs have cracked along the upper sole in less than a year. So disappointing, but if you don't mind that, they do feel good on foot, really keep the feet warm and look awesome!

Had these boots for about 1.5 years and the sole cracked. Leaking water into boots now. Not as warm as advertised. Disappointed.

I want to love these boots. They have great traction in the snow, are nice and tall to keep snow out, and keep my feet dry. However, they say they are rated to -58 and that is a joke. My feet freeze in these boots. I've worn them many times in 20-30 degree weather to shovel snow, play in the snow with my daughter, or just be outside in the winter, and my feet always end up cold. Not just a little cold, but freezing toes. That's after only a half hour outside. If they are rated for so cold, I shouldn't need to add thick wool socks to even consider keeping my feet warm.

These are advertised to keep feet warm for well below 0 temps. It's 13 degrees here and my feet were very cold. I paid extra for that feature and was disappointed.

These were very comfortable on the first wear. I'd say they were roomy, I usually wear a 7.5 but went with the 7 and they will fit with bulky socks. But, they don't seem very warm. Wore them with wool socks on a 40F day and my feet were cold :(

I have a pair of short Bogs that I love and have had for years. They are thick, warm and easy to get on and off. I was really looking forward to buying a tall pair for winter. I'm a 7 1/2 and always go up a size for winter to allow for regular socks w/ thick winter socks over the regular. The 8 was so tight I could barely get them on. There is a very narrow opening on at the ankle and the calf circumference is small despite the picture showing a lot of room with "tucked in" jeans - I do not have big legs, and even the 9 that I have now ordered just allows that. The 9 is still too small - with 2 socks my feet were frozen from having no circulation, and with one winter sock, they are still too cold as it is a regular thin layer of rubber .really just like a regular rain boot and a thin layer of "insulation". Because of the tightness, every time I take them off - off come my socks too..I like to take them off at the door to my apartment so I'm not tracking in snow/salt and then put them on a rug. Now I have to balance taking them off, balance putting each sock back on. In the past, for tall winter boots I've bought men's, that are thick and then have either had a thick layer of Thinsulate and/or some fake fur that made them warmer and had a comfy interior...wide enough to allow circulation and retain heat. . I ride public transportation and love to go for long walks in the snow. The best thing about these is the tread - that is great, but I can't be outside for more than 15 minutes before my feet start to freeze. This has never happened with any other boots over the last 25 years.

The first pair I purchased were too big even though I have other Bogs in that size I returned them for an exchange and then the product was out so my money was returned I was disappointed that a pair wasn't set aside for my exchange
