They are waterproof and pretty warm. It's not perfect and I think the temperature rating is a bit higher than the boot actual performance. The way I walk, the back does rub on my leg and is causing bruising. I'm a forest school teacher, so we are outside a lot. They meet a lot of needs. I just wish they didn't fold in and rub when I walked.

Nice boot height, nice tread, grippy on the snow, very comfortable to wear, but definitely not warm enough to keep your feet comfortable in -58 temperature temperatures.

The back rubber part rubs the back of my ankle.

Super comfortable and great traction..but my toes are still cold and it's only hit 20 degrees where I live. My winters get to be -30 which is why I chose these for barn chores.

They keep my feet dry, but not warm.

I bought these because we have cold winters normally around 0 degrees or so in mornings so I thought getting-58 degrees would keep my feet warm. Not so. I'm so disappointed. I wear them hiking every day and my feet get cold even sometimes in 20 degrees if I'm shoveling snow and snow covers the bottom of my boots. I put in wool felt and heavy socks. Where in the heck did you come up with-58 ?????? Other than that I like them. They fit well and I can hike in them.

I had to exchange these. My normal size is 7 and they was way to small. I exchanged them for a size 8 and they're comfortable.

I was expecting them to be made in the USA, they were not. They are some what slippery in the snow. It's not cold now so that I don't know. Bought them on sale so they can't go back.

Liked everything except too wide for me. I sized up because there are no half sizes. The size down was too short. had to send back due to fit.

I ended up returning my pair because they weren't good fit ( l ordered them in size 8, but they were too big for me) so wearing them gave me blisters on the back of my feet. However, if they fitted properly I would have kept them because I felt they have good quality!

Small in the leg.

The shoes are great except not for a person with muscular calves. They fit me well but my sister is taller and more muscular legs could not get her lower leg to fit. If there was an adjustable buckle, then they may have worked.

I've been a Bogs winter footwear owner going way back. For so many years- These boots were the best! I could walk on a solid sheet of ice and they actually gripped. I worked on a horse farm in deep winter with feet of snow and puddles that had frozen o we into sleek ice. I was always secure and never slipped. Well, 10 years later it was time for a new pair and I'm surprised- while still very warm and comfortable, they slip on even the tiniest bit of snow or ice so much so that I had to buy trax to put on the soles. So while I am still happy with the comfort and warmth, I am disappointed in the quality of the soles and the grip. The trax did help. I would buy these again (with a second purchase of trax) because of the other qualities. Just know if you're going to walk on a lot of slippery ice you'll need to supplement them.

They are well made, but it would be so nice if they made half sizes so they fit.

The tops slouch easily and dig into my ankles a bit and they are really not very warm in below freezing temps and snow. They do feel heavy duty and I don't worry about slipping at all.

I have been disappointed in this pair. My fourth pair of Bogs and the back seems to fold down so not as happy as I have always been. And I don't think they stay as warm as advertised.

A bit wide. I was an 8.5 but since having a child, my shoe size has changed to a 9. I was prepared for bigger length size but they are quite quite wide. It's be nice to see Bogs streamline down say even 1/2 in width wide and keep the integrity and ruggedness of the boot still

the boots were toolarge and were returned with a request for a smaller size, a size 7 since the size 8 was too large. It is now Dec 18 and i have not received the smaller size or any correspondence regarding my request. I checked the web site and found the returned boots were received by the company dec 5.

The boot itself is great, but I had to return them due to the width. These are narrower than other Bogs I've had, so they didn't work for me.

Love the fit and good durable bottom, but they really arent as warm as they say. I sat out hunting in 35degree f temps and my feet froze- two days in a row and froze my toes off!

I have always lived Bogs and my last pair lasted like 5 years. Just this year they cracked and started to leak. I was bumbed but what other boots are gonna last you that long so i think 5 years is GREAT to get out of one pair of any shoe. I did order a New pair recently same style just a different color because they were the only color in that style available in my size. I received them and They just don't seem to be made as well. They feel very thin , the insoles wanna come out every time I take them off and the feel much lighter than my older ones. I guess time will tell if there of the same quality. Not a deal breaker just lil disappointed in comparison to my older ones

3 out of 5 because even on a 25 degree day, standing on snow covered ground, my toes froze. They are, however, hands down the most comfortable boots I've ever worn. Just a shame that I still have to shove toe warmers in them.

Maybe I need a wide calf (which I've never experienced in another shoe before) but when I put these on the part around the calf just smashes down.
