Warm, easy to slip on, high quality. Not great for walking longer distances- not much ankle support.

Quite comfortable and they keep my feet very warm! (These are not hiking boots, I would not wear them for that).

I wore them around the house a bit, but maybe not enough to break them in because they rubbed my heels and hurt the first time I wore them 8 hours. I recommend wearing out and about for less than a full day to break them in. Today I didn't walk as much, but wore them all day and they were fine, warm and comfortable. I can't give them 5 stars yet as they haven't experienced any snow or really cold weather.

Finding a good-looking waterproof winter boot, suitable for a harsh and snowy winter climate, able to withstand mud, several feet of snow and mucking out animal manure…with a zero-drop, wide toe-box barefoot minimalist feel.. plus good traction on icy terrain….. it’s a tall order. These seemed worth a try on. I was skeptical of the heel clunk and the not quite wide toe box based on the look of the boots in photos… but I ordered them anyway after reading through so many positive reviews… they look fantastic and like they’ll withstand snowy icy stuff like a champ. Warm as heck! But if you spend as much of your life as possible barefoot, are used to wearing five-fingers and other zero drop shoes.. nope. The left boot squeezed and my toes were smooshed together. Way too tight. The right boot had major heel slip and my foot swam in it! Wore them for 5 minutes in the house and my feet have been sore all day!
Really bummed I have to return these, because they’re one of the very few muck type boots in purple and for someone without wide feet, they’d probably be great. I wish bogs would get with the program and stop putting heels on all their designs! Make a wide version, offer half sizes, and go zero drop, then maybe I’ll try again…. Back to looking at men’s ugly, but wide neoprene. Ugh. For reference, I am a 9.5, sized up to a 10 to accommodate socks.

I love the boots with the only exception of getting a blister the first few times I wore them. Definitely more for cold weather with lots of grip and warmth.

I really like the boots. They are great quality. I didn't give them 5 stars because I really could have used a 1/2 size smaller, but they only come in whole sizes. There a little big so not quite as comfortable.

Love the look of these. They aren't heavy or as bulky as i imagined. My only complaint is at the heel/ankle area where the molded rubber meets the fabric it buckles when I walk and tends to rub the back of my ankle. They are the right fit/size so I know that's not the issue. I have to wear thicker socks to prevent chafing. Oddly enough it only affects the left boot so I'm not sure if it's a defect. Otherwise they are extremely warm and look stylish!

I got these because I moved to Northern Michigan, and my still serviceable 10 year old classic mids were getting snow in the handles in the deeper snow. These run larger both foot and calf-wise than classic talls. I wear between and 11 and 12, and I initially ordered a 12 that felt like clown shoes! The 11's fit perfectly, whereas an 11 classic is too small for me. I love how comfy they are, the softness of the lining, the chunkiness of the sole makes me feel more stable on snow/ice, and they are easy to pull on/off. Four stars because I recently stood around for a couple of hours in 20 degree weather, and my feet did get kinda cold. Wasn't wearing the warmest of socks, but with boots that are rated for -58, should you always need to?

I ordered these back in October to be ready for the coming winter. I usually wear an 8-8.5 and had ordered these in 8. It must've been a warm day when I tried them on because with winter socks the fit was perfect. When I recently needed to wear them they were a bit too loose with my thick socks. When I added an additional insole they fit too tight. I used them because I had no other boots to wear. They do keep my feet warm and dry and they are easy to slip on and off. However, the fit is still disappointing.

I really liked the design of these boots. I am looking to replace some older Classic Mid boot that still keep my feet warm, but have the tread worn after years of urban winter walking. These boots have a sturdy and deep tread, that looks like it would last a long time. The shaft of the boot was not big enough to fit around my calves. A mid calf height would be perfect. I like how these bring color and style to the reliable and warm Classic Mid workhorse.

I wear these boots everyday at my job as a rural carrier. I was looking for a boot with great traction, warmth and one that was stylish looking. This boot hit all three of those plus. They are very easy to maneuver in. They are very comfortable although after being in them for 12+ hrs a day, my feet are a little sore. The insole is not the greatest when it comes to length of time spent in the boots but other than that, I would highly recommend. They can be worn with either pants tucked in or slipped over the boot.

Very comfy. Usually wear a 8.5 in shoes and 9 in boots. An 8 in bogs was a perfect fit

I liked the style of these boots and the extra grip that the new sole provides. I normally wear an 8 1/2 wide and was able to easily wear an 8. The shaft, however, was just a tiny bit too snug for me. I wanted to be able to slip them on without having to use my hands and that wasn't possible with these boots. I would say that I have average to mildly wide calves from years of sports. On the other hand, my tall and lanky daughter had too much room around the calf in these boots. I suppose you can't fit all bodies!

I've been a fan of BOGS for the past 6 years. My first purchase was the McKenna. Great looking and hard-wearing for many seasons. Those finally needed replacing. I wanted a boot that kept my feet warm and DRY - no easy task during the winter months in the Salish Sea. Grippy soles were a must. Easy to slip on and take off. And they needed to multi-task - at home in the muck, on the trail, by the seashore, in the snow/slush, AND in town running errands. While these are certainly sportier than the McKenna, they are a lovely pair of boots. I'm very happy with them thus far.
The interior faux fur lining is a nice touch. Comfy on bare skin if I need to hop in my boots to run outside for a sec. The colors are lovely as I opted for the Grape - wine tones on the shaft of the boot, and eggplant along the foot, with a lighter grape accent stripe. Looks fab with my wine parka, and eggplant down vest, and adds a bit of color on drab days. The kick-spur on the back heel aids in quick removal. Haven't tracked in any mud or dirt due to the nice chunky sole construction, though the occasional small pebble gets stuck, which is to be expected. I'm 5'-8.5" - the shaft is 3.5" shy of my knee. Tall enough to tromp through shallow streams, slush, and the seashore, but in heavy snow conditions I'd add gaiters if I expected any substantial postholing.
Only reason these boots aren't five stars is that I'm a US W8.5. I'm one of the many folks who would prefer half sizes in BOGS. The 8 would have been too small. The 9 fits, but it's a bit on the loose side for trekking or steep hills. I plan on purchasing a sheepskin insole to amplify the cozy factor, (though these feel wonderful as is), and ensure a tighter fit. Weight isn't an issue at all. These feel lighter than my McKennas. I'm used to a substantial boot to trek off-trail and off-grid. The rubber sole has a nice sticky grip to it. Likely good on mud, ice, shale, slick rock and silt - though I haven't tested all of those conditions yet.

This is my third pair of Bogs. I was very excited for this new style, especially for the new bottoms of the boot. I live in urban Minnesota and I walk a lot. The bottom on the classic mid wore out on the sidewalks, and I think this bottom solves that issue. They have a fine construction, like prior Bogs. I am going to return them because they are too big and because the shaft of the leg is too tight on my muscular calves. This is a common problem for me with tall boots. If they had a mid-height version of this style, I would buy those. I cannot praise Bogs enough and I am disappointed about the sizing, I will be watching for other Bogs styles ongoing.

Love the warmth of these boots but it's frustrating being a 1/2 size. The nine was too big and sloppy and the 8 is tight.

While my feet stayed dry thanks to wearing gators, the boots offered poor traction on snow, making it difficult to avoid slipping while digging out cars for work, even with cat tracks. My toes were often cold, and despite okay insulation, I ended up with soggy feet after long shifts of 8-14 hours in the snow due to sweat buildup. I ordered the size I normally do, not expecting the size chart to differ. Overall, the boots performed well in rainy and wet snowy conditions with gators, but they were less effective for heavy-duty tasks like dragging cars and strenuous labor.

Grips on ice? Check
Easy to slip on and comfortable to walk around in (chores, dog walk, etc)? Double check
Sizing? Check. Got my normal size and it provides just enough room for thick winter socks.
They're nearly perfect.
HOWEVER, how they got "comfort rated to -58F" baffles me. When I'm out in sub 30 F with them on, I need 2 pairs of socks! Someone is going to lose a toe if there aren't advisements on how to dress to make them warmer at some point well before -58F.
