I didn't realize how perfect this bag would be. I imagined it being smaller for some reason and was happily surprised. I'm going to be flying this week and it literally fits three days of clothes and doesn't make the bag look bulky. It's truly amazing, and I love love love all the little pockets to put things.

The outside straps are for a skateboard, they work great for a tripod too. Holds my 15 inch laptop no problem, Along with everything else I Carry with me. More compact form from my other Timbuk2, so sits great on my desk at work. Easy convert from work to camera bags also. Like always another great bag from Timbuk2, love the green color also.

I use this backpack as an EDC. I like the simple design with minimal branding, various pockets, and skateboard/yoga mat tension straps. One thing I would improve about the bag for more durability would be to get rid of the Velcro on the skateboard tension straps, and use metal D-ring buckles to fasten instead.

I love my new backpack. The red is a beautiful crimson red, so it's not too bright and goes well with any outfit. I'm so happy with the number of pockets and organization compartments this bag has. Can't wait to use it for school!

Got it for her my sister's entry into university. My Timbuk2 has perfectly lasted me through uni all those years w/o any wear (save one zipper leather older that broke in the 3rd year of usage). So i feel confident that this bag will guide her through uni as mine did for me! My sister looooves all the pockets and straps and the overall look. Thanks Timbuk2!

I bought this bag for my bicycle commute to my teaching job, my EDC, and flight carry-on. It easily fits my regular carrying stuff in the outside pockets (tons of cords, home keys, work keys on an ID lanyard) with space inside for emergency survival mini-tools, way too many pens/office supplies, feminine care items, etc. When I add snacks and a sweatshirt, then we're pretty full, but that's all I need anyway. The skateboard straps and strong. The only downside is that even without a skateboard attached, it's kind of difficult to access the lowest exterior pocket of the bag. Basically, it's a good daily bag and I love the color (I bought the mustard one).

This is my third Timbuk2 bag, and my favorite one so far. I keep coming back to them because they're the only brand to withstand the abuse I put on my bags and utility is the key feature I need in a bag. The laptop sleeve is well padded and allow me to also fit my charger and mouse with plenty of room to spare. Very easy to store and retrieve my mobile office. This one has lots of great pockets and compartments to house all of the items I need to stay up to speed on the non-work life related activities that are important to me: Jump rope, drum pad and drum sticks, giant music theory books, writing implements, notebooks, staff paper, ear buds, etc. Even with all of that there's still room to spare. The straps are great for a yoga mat or snare. Best of all, it's super comfortable which is the most important thing. I like having the weight of my packed bag evenly distributed across my back. It looks great, and it's so well made that I don't care about having a backpack in a board meeting. Definitely hip enough to hold its own among the ubiquitous leather work bags in the room. If you have any doubts about it, I recommend just getting one and trying it out. This was the third type of bag I ordered from them during this round of bag shopping and exchanges were a breeze. Great customer service with no hassle. I felt like Goldilocks; too small, too big, JUST RIGHT!!!

I walk a lot between jobs and I need lots of pockets. One for sunglasses, for toothbrush and toothpaste, for regular glasses, for chargers, for my big laptop, for my small laptop, for writing utensils. It's a small stylish bag that fits a lot of stuff

So I'm very picky with my products and take a while researching things to find what I like. My price range for a new backpack was anywhere from 30-300$ and I settled on this one for several reasons. 1. Water bottle pocket that fits my 20 oz hydroflask 2. Fits my 15 inch laptop 3. Looks modern without being too out there 4. Good number of compartments. I considered classics like jansport, north face, and herschel, but I wanted a pack that was a bit more unique. There was also expensive options like the prvke, peak design, and Vinta but those either had designs I wasnt a fan or didnt seem practical for school. This backpack is VERY comfortable and it has even more pockets than I thought it would have. Theres 4 in the front and 2 larger compartments. A helpful key lanyard in one of the front pockets and soft lining on the top front for phones and such. Theres also some organizational help inside one of the larger compartments where you can clip pencils and put snacks. The straps while for skateboards can also be used for jackets, lab coats, etc. My 15inch laptop is a gaming laptop and though it is one of the thinnest if not the thinnest 15in gaming laptop in the world, it wouldnt fit in the Fjallraven 15in kanken comfortably. It fits in the laptop compartment in this bag without stretching any fabric to a worrying degree and definitely fits in the very back pocket easily. I own Tumi backpacks and this gem holds its own against them. I've only had this bag for a couple weeks so I cant say anything about durability though.

I just love it. The size, the velcro on front I use for my umbrella, the side pocket for my mug, top pocket for my car keys. Every access is convenient. Just love it.

Loving my bag. Although the positioning of the arms is a bit weird at first, overall the bag is just what I needed. My mouse is in the frontal left pocket, micro, lightning, and c cables are in the right front pocket, and my laptop charger is in the bottom front pocket. 15 inch laptop fits snug and iPad and headphones fit in the secondary large compartment with my pencil box (I'm a digital Artist).

This backpack has a lot of options for organization, which is extremely nice. Though it seemed a bit small at first, it fits all the items I need it to. My laptop is 17.3", which makes for a snug fit inside the laptop compartment, but it still does its job. Just be aware that larger laptops may be a tight fit. The ability to hold a skateboard or longboard makes it extremely nice for college, if you wish to ride to class. The sternum strap also helps make the bag easier to carry, and is especially useful when skating. Overall, the backpack functions well and has many pockets/compartments for storing anything you should need it to, including a skateboard or longboard.

I have always struggled with finding a bag thats comfortable on my shoulders, can handle a lot of weight, but still wont look or feel bulky. This bag had no reviews when I got it, so i had no idea what to expect. But it is literally perfect for me. The multiple compartments make storing little things so convenient, and kind of fun. My laptop fits perfectly and it can really pack alot. I usually tend to overstuff my bags (oops) but it has no problems handling it. Not a single thread is out of place and it is as good as when I first bought it. It has gone through severe snowstorms, thundershowers, and kicked around and placed on the grounds at dirty bus stops and schools. This bag is perfect for a uni kid (me) that moves around a lot and carries a whole lot of stuff. Can you tell I like it?

This is the most comfortable backpack I've ever had - it feels great on my shoulders/back even when longboarding for miles. The straps hold my board very securely. I love the pockets on the front, really helps with organization. It looks great, too. I used to carry a 26L Nike SB RPM backpack, and was hesitant to think that a 19L backpack would be enough for my everyday carry, but surprisingly everything fit into the Vert Backpack, as long as I keep my mirrorless camera in a smaller case. I love the laptop compartment. The water bottle holders are a bit on the small side, but not bad at all. The key strap placement is perfect. The only thing that could make this pack even better would be a padded top handle.

I use this for every day work and studying. Feels quality, very durable, and spacious. I brag about it to all my friends. Will highly recommend to anyone. I got the red color which I absolutely love. It's not a bright red which is good. Closer to a wine/maroon color.

This bag as so much space in each compartment and lots of great pockets. I have used this bag for an overnight work trip and also to the park on the weekends (rolled up my blanket and secured it with the front velcro). The fabric is durable and I liked all the color options but went with the Army.

Looks small at first, but seems to expand when you start to put stuff into it. At first the straps dig into your sides, but this goes away after breaking it in. Overall a comfortable backpack good for school and hiking even.

For a college student like me, this backpack is very useful and functional. The quality is really nice and durable. I like that the straps and the back side of the backpack both have nice padding, which is great when you're out walking with this backpack on almost everyday. I also really like the laptop sleeve area. It is also padded and tight. Fits my 13 inch Mac while in its case. However, the only drawback is that it does not hold as much as I would like. I typically use my backpack for two things-- everyday school use, and less often, traveling. While trying to pack my stuff in my backpack, I was struggling to fit everything I normally carry with me when I travel. It might've been because the backpack is still new and stiff? I wish that this backpack had a little more space in it. Other than that, I really like this backpack.
