Fit was very good. The style was just what was wanted.

These boots are an amazing fit and quality. I ordered a half size up per other reviews and I didn’t need to, though I don’t mind that they are somewhat roomy as I anticipate swearing a thick winter sock. I have a wide foot and athletic calf’s and these fit amazing. Order your normal size.

The fit is elegant and modern. It looks dress up with you wear with a dress for the evening. Loved it!

Amazing and beautiful boot. The suede has a slight worn look on the toes which adds to the look.

Really cute boot! As others have noted, they do run about a half size small. I usually wear a 7 1/2 to 8 sometimes, so I ordered the 8. Had to return for an 8 1/2, which I have never ever worn in my life. However, this larger size fit well and really didn’t look too bulky. I really love the look of this boot.

Searched a million sites for this particular boot in my size....Zappos didn't disappoint, neither did they in person. These boots are so cute and comfy. Can't wait to wear them! This is my second pair of Born boots. My other pair is a size 6.5 and can be a bit snug with heavy socks. I upped to a 7 on these and they're perfect with socks, so I'm keeping them as is.

I love these boots. I am typically a Frye girl, but I was sick of paying so much AND I loved this specific style. I have other Born shoes so I knew they would be comfortable. But I didn't know they'd be SO comfortable and beautiful. I got my normal boot size, 9.5, and they are perfect in length and width. The leather is a distressed (not destroyed) suede, which looks almost black. Charcoal, for sure. Heel height is very walkable and looks adorable (dare I say sexy) with a skirt and kneesocks. They also look great with leggings or skinnies. Almost tempted to get another color, they are THAT awesome. Very, very happy with this purchase.

Don't think about it....order these! You will not regret it. I'm 5'7" and have trouble with the calf width in most boots. These were perfect.

Lovely and richly colored suede, a little wide for those with slim calves but can be tightened with laces. Lined with plaid cloth and has moderate arch support. One boot I received had damaged laces, however.

I am very pleased with this boot, Felicia, dark grey. They are stylish and so comfy. High quality. I have a normal shapely leg and did not need to untie the back, so I left the laces on them as they came (tied and tucked in). I had skinny jeans on (tucked inside), no problems, however I usually wear the boot under the jean, with the jean cuffed, to show the boot off. These are just so beautiful, any way you wear them. Thanks Born, my new favorite!

These are the most comfortable shoes I’ve ever ordered

I am usually between an 8 and 8 1/2 with a narrow foot. I went for the 8 1/2 because some reviews suggested to go up a half size. They were a little too long so if you have a narrow foot I would suggest getting your normal size. These boots were so comfortable, and the inside is super soft. I can see walking in them all day with no problem. I ultimately decided to return them instead of exchanging sizes because the calf was a little big on me and I wanted something more fitted. There are beautiful and comfortable but not 100% for me.

I had ordered a 9 but returned for a 9 1/2. I have a narrow foot so they fit perfect. These are a narrow width for sure. Just from wearing around the house for about an hour, I don't feel I could walk in them all day. I'm also not sure if I would wear in snow as I'm sure they would stain. I will keep as I like the style and if our snow melts sometime soon I will wear them out.

I have narrow feet so that way they felt fine. I wear a 9 but my toes were at the end. Sending back for a 1/2 size larger. My calf fit perfect in boot. If any smaller it would not of zipped. After my next pair comes I will update again.

I love the material and style of these boots. The shaft fit my slim calves perfectly. Unfortunately, they felt at least a half size smaller than my usual 8.5 M. I'm going to try a 9M. Fingers crossed!!

Shoe size was great, but for the leg, if you have 16” calves like I do, you will barely get these on and they have no room to give, even with the ties on the back. Sent them back.

I’m normally a size 8.5- 9 but the 9 in this felt too short and too tight. Returned them for a 9.5 and they’re perfect. I have a pair of Born heels that are super comfy and that is echoed in the boots. I have smaller calf’s and these are just right, not too tight, not too loose. I’m 5.5” and they sit just below my knees.

These boots were so soft. I wanted to love them but the calf was way too big and I don't have small calves! Ugh! The color was more of a brown and not so grey but they are very pretty. Just wish the calf area was smaller

Everyone likes this boot with a few exceptions; my mom in her 80's likes them but didn't like the toe and heel being so rubbed out/worn looking (she asked if I had already worn them). My 19 year old daughter wants a pair but the regular sized calf area is too big even with the ties tightened all the way. For me, I like them and they fit true to size in 8M (I get 8.5 to allow for the full length Spenco arch support insert) and they fit fine, except for on me the calf area is still a bit sloppy and my calves are 13.75" and the ankle could be more fitted too. Born is making a Wide Calf version in this style, and it would make sense that they also make a version that will fit slender legs as well!! Watch the Zappos video and see how the calves are swimming! on the models. Looks silly. The problem with sloppy fitting calves is that the entire boot will creep down creating a bagging ankle look which is not attractive. Thanks for listening Born designers!

so cute but had to return, The toe box is pretty narrow and calves were almost too tight to zip, wish the adjustable lacing was a few inches longer in the back, that feature is mostly decorative . But the rest of the boot shaft fits nicely, no baggy ankles and the suede is nice, with a corduroy lining...
