I have some difficulty sliding my foot into this ankle boot. The leather is not as soft as I had hoped. It wears nice. I bought a size 11M, could have used a wide if it had been offered.

Born shoes used to be made a bit better. I had a pair of booties that I literally wore for several years before they wouldn't accept leather shine any longer. I wore them out but they were the most comfortable shoes ever. I wish I could say the same for these. After a few weeks of wearing them, they broke down to a point where my feet were no longer stable in the shoes. The suede did not hold up well either. I take good care of my shoes and for the money, these were a disappointment.

Super comfy but didn't love the flap in the front. Sort of conjured up the image of Pilgrim shoes, which doesn't work for me.

They were way too wide and a little long because of my foot going forward. Quality leather boot. Phyllis W

I paid attention to reviewers and sized down a half size. I could barely get the boot on! I have no idea if this is a comfortable boot because it was so small on me.

I loved the arch support in these, the leather felt very good quality, and overall they are a really lovely shoe. The fit was wrong for me though. I tried a 9 and a 10, and both felt so tight in the width and instep. I normally wear a 9.5, sometimes 9.5W, but these just felt so tight. I do not agree that they run a size bigger than marked.

Liked the Classy style of this boot but felt it was a little short and narrow to be comfortable

I love this boot. Unfortunately I've found the sizing to be really inconsistent. I have one pair that I wear all the time and love - the shoes fit beautifully right out of the box. I've tried to order a second pair because the ones I have are so comfy but no luck. I've tried two different pairs from two different vendors - same size and color - and both have fit completely differently than each other and my original pair. Neither have fit my feet and I've had to return both. Maybe I just got lucky with the first pair....!

I usually wear a 6.5 in Born. After reading the reviews, I ordered a 6 and hoped for the best, but they're still too big and this is the smallest size available. Back they go. Cute otherwise.

While these booties were very cute, the front piece dug into my leg making them uncomfortable. Sadly they will be going back to Zappos and my search continues.

The size was fine, shoe was a little clunky. The reason for my return is that the 2nd pair of Born boots I ordered, with the same type heel, are ruined after just one night of wearing. I think another reviewer had mentioned the heel is made of a white substance, simply coated in the color of the shoe. One scuff, and the shoe is ruined. I'm returning this pair before I wear them once and find them ruined.

I was overall disappointed in this shoe especially for the price. Too narrow at the widest part of my foot (I always wear a medium width - this is the first time I had an issue in that regard. And I had a pair of Born sandals that I loved for the comfort and support but this pair of shoes did not measure up in that regard at all. I returned the shoes

Cute, but the top of the front of the boot cut into my ankle with every step. Sent 'em back.

The fit was ok, maybe a little large for a 6.5, but not as large as a 7. I ordered the camel colored sheos and they were too stiff for me. They hurt the top of my foot when I walked. Cute shoe, but not comfortable out of the box. At least not this pair.

Much too tight. Couldn’t even get on. Had to return.
