I was unable to loosen, tighten, undo the rawhide lacing because it was so stiff. The shoe looks good but even unzipped, I was unable to put my orthotic inside plus my foot.

I purchased these boots as a new pair of winter boots, intended for dog walking this winter. they are quite comfortable however they are very very slippery on ice or snow, no grip whatsoever. They can only be worn on dry ground or when temp is well above freezingor with crampons.

Squeaked so loudly when I walked, I couldn’t possibly keep them. With every step I took it sounded like I was rubbing 2 pieces of rubber together. Cute shoes but too loud!

I loved these boots for the winter and spring as they are water proof but the bottom grip is lifting from the shoe on the front of one of the boots. Not the quality you would expect for the price.

Was really hoping that I would love these boots, but they were too narrow for my feet :( Love the look of them though!

This was my first Sperry purchase. The boots are beautiful and incredibly comfortable. They are slightly too big, however I live in Michigan and thick socks are a must.
After 2 wears (approximately 9 hours) the heels on both boots started coming apart.

Initially I loved the feel and style of these boots. Unfortunately, they could not stand the regular wear and tear of farm life. If you just want to wear them out and be cute then they will most likely last much longer but, I wore them to work everyday where it is wet and muddy. They did not last 3 months before both boots were cracked open on the sides and no longer waterproof. For the amount of money you pay for them, they are nowhere near worth it.

I've been shopping and trying on other Sperry waterproof boots at Brick and Mortars and wanted this classic look of tan and blue. I only found the Sperry Maritime Repel on Zappos, and now I know that they run smaller than other Sperry boots. I made the mistake of using the fit of other Sperry waterproof type boots as my size guide. Regardless of the size I will return them and not exchange for another pair because the sole is extremely, ridiculously squeaky. Also, the zipper opening is smaller and limits the option of wearing thicker socks I struggled to squeeze my foot into the boot while wearing thin socks.

Wanted to love these. I have several pairs of duck boots and thought these would offer warmer winter option. Purchased sizes 7.5 & 8. I normally wear an 8 in boots & 7.5 in most other shoes. If these weren't narrow, the 7.5 fit best. They looked great and felt lightweight, but fit narrow and squeaked when I walked. Very disappointing so I returned them.

Had these a short amount of time, didn't wear all that often. The sole separated and they could no longer be worn. For the price, they fell apart too quickly.

I'm a big time lover of Sperry boots, however I don't like this pair at all. I wear, wear and wear the duck boots and needed a new black pair to match my new black coat. So I decided to go with the snow boots since we can get a lot of lake effect snow where I'm at. These are not comfortable like the others and are hard and stiff and rub my legs. They are also hard to get on and off.

Boot is already ripping at the seam between rubber and cloth. Absolutely no traction on wet surfaces. I've had them for 4 weeks, cannot return.

I love Sperry boots and thought the design of these were really neat online. When I received them, they are nothing like my Duck boots. Wide and stocky and I feel like I'm wearing moon boots I wore as a kid. They also run tighter then the Duck boot. I should have stuck with the Duck boot, I have five pairs they are the best!!

I've given it a year before I wrote a review on these boots. I love the look of them! But the material makes an awful rubbery-squeak sound every step I take. I gave it plenty of time to break them in and soften the material, but it hasn't changed a bit. LOUD! I only wear them to do yard work now because I just don't care if they get ruined, and refuse to wear them around in day to day life. So disappointed!

When I tried them on There was a seam inside the boot with excess material that hit and rubbed on my ankle. It was very annoying so the boots were retuned

The material feels very plastic-like, it even squeaks with every step you take.

I am extremely disappointed with this purchase. After reading all the reviews I thought these boots would be a great purchase for the weather conditions in Edmonton, Alberta. They do not keep my feet warm at all and it definitely doesn't feel like there is 200 G of thinsulate in them. I do not recommend.

I've tried to break these boots in for 2 months. I can't walk anywhere without the obnoxious squeaking noise. Extremely disappointed in these boots.

I'm consistently disappointed with Sperry's lack of grip in their boots. There is absolutely NO tread on any of them. They're fine for rain, but get more than 1/2 inch of snow and prepare to go flying, skipping and sliding to urgent care. I've slipped just on snow today FOUR times when I was sure their "wave-siping" would carry me through.
What a joke. No tread on these boots... great boat shoes and sneakers, though. I'll stick with Merrill for my winter-wear... same company, oddly enough.

After 1st wear I have noticed that the right heel has separated from the bottom of the shoe itself by an inch or more. Its like they were all slapped together with glue. Very poorly made in my opinion. Since these were not cheap, I will be attempting to superglue it back together and hope for the best. I will not be purchasing anymore shoes of this brand at all. This is not my first purchase with Sperry boots however, this is the worst by far experience with a shoemaker I have ever had. Other boots became uncomfortable after wearing 8-12 hours as I normally do while at work. These are comfortable if you can get a decent made pair of them anyways.

So upset with these - ordered for my teenage daughter and she loved them. Wore them twice and the bottom layer separated from the rest of the shoe. Such a waste of money. Will stick to the LLBean Boots next time...
