A five star rating for comfort and style as well as the awesome attribute of a removable footbed were not enough to make me keep these cute flats. The soft leather uppers were dyed in the weirdest, most random way. Blotches of dark dye just appeared all over the shoes, marring the nice color. I would have asked Zappos for a replacement pair, but another reviewer noticed the same thing, and a close-up inspection of the online photos proved that my pair was not dyed in that manner by one-off mistake. I couldn't trust ordering any other leather color because SoftWalk cannot have very good quality control. I'm actually amazed that such obviously clumsy manufacturing passed anyone with the ability to say "reject."

Cute color, but way too wide. My foot fell out once I put in on. Thanks Zappos for your return policy!

These are cute shoes, even if they are a little plain, but they run incredibly small! I ordered a 7, and it literally felt like a 5.5 or 6 instead. They were so small, I couldn't even walk around the house to see how they felt. Had to send them back.

Just too tight. I am an 8.

AA was too wide for my foot. Very rounded toe. Arch did not hit in the right spot for my foot. Returning them.

I own several pairs of Softwalk shoes. These are the first pair I am returning as they are very narrow in the toe box cutting into my bunion. They are much narrower than other Softwalk EE widths. It is disappointing as I love the quality of Softwalk shoes.

I wear an 8 or 8.5 or 39, and the 8.5 in black fit all right, though a little long in the heel. But the shoes looked awful on my feet. And instead of looking sleek and stylish as in the photos, they were quite boring in actuality. And the toes were sort of bulbous. I'm returning them.

Style was not flattering at all as well as not being comfortable. I would not recommend this shoe. Zappos is always amazing, and I always love zappos!!!! Thank you for the truly amazing service!

Very disappointed. Had to return them. I was prepared to like these as Soft Walk is such a great brand. But the right one just did not fit. It seemed possibly defective,

For being a flat and comfortable looking shoe it was so very uncomfortable. The back of it cut into my heel and the over-all fit felt size a full size small. I'm so turned off that I'm not going to try a size up.

These are the most horrible shoes I have ever bought in my life. I wore them for 30 minutes and my ankles were BLEEDING. They are stiff and hard and cut like a knife right at the edge. I have almost never worn them again. I could have bought $20 shoes at target and been way better off.

Not good on all accouts.

Toe height too small for my instep

The fit was very narrow but the greatest factor was the height/depth at the front/toe area

Shoe fit and has comfortable footpad. Unfortunately, the shoe has a significant weakness where the side is joined together and after only 2 months of wear, the weakness has opened leaving a gap that opens into the shoe. Very disappointed after purposely seeking out more of an investment shoe for the purpose of comfort and longevity.

WAY TOO SHORT. width seemed fine tho.

I have 3 pair of the softwalk sonoma shoes. The newer version is larger in the heel and the leather is not as soft as the older versions. Also, this pair of shoes had a stitch on the bottom of the shoe that was coming loose and there was a seam on the inside of the ball area of the shoe that the older versions do not have. I compared the new shoe with my old ones.

floppy and unattractive. I'm a 12N; ordered a 12N. Flopped all over when walking. heel slips. Plus, they're ugly

This shoe---for whatever the reason---was extremely uncomfortable! Though general size was right, the construction of the shoe made the arch, toe and heel areas, very uncomfortable.

These shoes came wrapped in clear plastic inside a brown envelope with no box!!! I cannot believe they were shipped without a box protecting them! i have liked Zappos, but this experience is not good. Also they were larger than I expected so I am returning them.

The leather is very stiff and hard. The moment I pit them on I knew they will not work for me.

I usually wear a 5 but this constricted my toes. Also, ridge along toe box of right shoe pinched and rubbed.
