I really agree with all the other comments now, the ones that said these were hard to get on. So hard in fact that it actually hurt the back of my ankle trying to get my feet in. I really love the look of these but knew if I kept them I would regret it every time I tried to put them on. I returned them :(

I have very narrow feet, it was very hard to get on. I even broke a nail! I have been buying regular ugg boots in the same size for years and this style it was not the same case I wear a 9 but would have to get a 10 in this boot. PLUS the shaft of the boot is extremely loose I couldn't wear them with a nice pair of leggings.

The boot is very stylish, love the color. VERY VERY hard to get on. Tight around the ankle and instep. Very uncomfortable to wear because it's too tight. I will be returning this boot. I have several pairs of Uggs, this is my first disappointment. I really liked this boot but it's not gonna work

I read the negative reviews and and went against my better judgement still bought these because I have others. As the reviews say you can not fit your foot through because of its shape. Too bad because I like the look. ALSO the color is not at all as pictured it's described as charcoal and that's exactly how it looks it's more of a grey boot the picture on the website looks like a taupe color

First glance I loved how they looked but when I put them on my opinion has changed some. First, they are VERY difficult to get on. You have to really pull the foot part on and I cant imagine the sweater part of the boot will wear well after numerous times taking on and off. It think eventually it will stretch out and/or tear. Other bad thing I can see already is that all of the boot except the back heel part is made from sweater type material so the boot is really sort of like an expensive slipper sock with a sole. The long part of the boot does NOT stay up at all. You can pull them on but within a short time the buttons (which are rather heavy) and the fact that the sweater fabric is too loose, pull the boot down and it just sort of flops around in an awkward position which is not attractive. If the sweater part was tighter, the boot would look so much better. So...all that said, these are definitely not my favorite boots and I would not purchase them again.

I have atleast 20 pairs of Uggs and I had only positive things to say about the brand until I bought this Cardy Boot. They are extremely difficult to get on and are uncomfortably tight around the ankle area. Also, they are really loose on the leg/shaft part and tend to fall down when Im trying to wear them rolled up. I thought I had a defective pair until I read other reviews. Because I am familiar with Uggs, I figured I could "break them in." I have worn them constantly for the last week they have not loosened up at the ankle at all. I'm really disappointed in this product.

I LOVE Ugg products however these are that great! The seams that runs from the ankle through the top of your foot to the inner arch is sown on super tight making it difficult to slide your foot in! I wish the butttons were a little bigger or more captivating, they look look they should go on my daughters knitted uggs. The top of the foot knitted area is super narrow so you can see the shape of your foot I can't even flex my toes to point up that's how tightly they are made, it's not a great product, sorry Ugg's you lost me with this one, it's going back! Stick with the classic CARDY boot!

I've owned a ton of Uggs and never had this problem before but, there's something wrong with these boots. They have a very tight stitching around the ankle and it makes it really hard to get your foot in. Once I managed to get them on they fit great but there's something seriously wrong with the stitching around the ankle. I literally almost ripped the boot trying to put them on. Will be returning, sad because they're really cute.

I love the look of the cardy boots the best. I had a gray pair for 7 years and I wore them out so I needed a new pair this year. Just received the purl cardy boot and can't get my feet in the boot, no stretch. I have never had this happen before. I noticed the two other reviews had a similar problem. They are a beautiful boot, hope UGG can fix this problem.

Ahhhh! I wanted to love these. I read the reviews about it being hard for your foot to get in but they looked so cute that I took the risk. They are so right. I wear a size 7 in all my Uggs. I have a normal width foot that is thin. I could get any further than my toes into the shoe. I had my mom that wears a 6.5 and she couldn’t get them on either. So disappointed.

I was so excited to get another Cardy Knit boot; my grey ones are amazing and I've been wearing them for years. I got these on sale and went to wear them this morning but I couldn't get my foot in the boot! There's a seem across the front and the leather bit on the heel is high, this combination makes it all but impossible to get your foot in the shoe. I got my right on, but the left was a no go. When I took the right off the top of my foot was so red from trying to get it on! I'll have to return these, which is a bummer because I was ready to love them as much as my grey ones.

I have a pair of cardy boots that I absolutely love! They are comfy, warm, and they are simply amazing! I bought these boots as they were a different color, and I thought they would be the same design... Well, they are not! There is a seam on the top of the shoe that makes them impossible to put on! The shoe in itself is beyond beautiful! But OMG! I was so disappointed! I tried for over half an hour to put them on to no avail... I had tu return them. I didn't even bother going a size bigger because I thought I would be equally disappointed...

This was my first pair of Ugg boots and I'm so disappointed that I had to return them. I couldn't get them on my feet. Thought something was stuck inside. I will have to try on a different pair in person before I purchase. Don't buy these!

I wanted to love these boots! I'm not sure if its the cut or maybe I just got a bad pair, I literally couldn't get these on my feet! The fit is so strange I couldn't slide my foot into the bottom of the shoe. I have never had this problem with the classic Uggs. When I returned them the cashier said they just are cut weird idk.

Impossible to get my foot in them. Shouldn’t be that much of a struggle with long nails. Worst ugg ever made. Size up doesn’t matter they’ll just be too long and again too tight.

I should have read ALL of the reviews before I purchased these. Back in the day I purchased knit Ugg's and they were so comfortable and wonderful. These must be what Ugg's thinks is an upgrade. There is a hard stitch across the top of the boot where the ankle is and it makes it IMPOSSIBLE to enter your foot in the boot. If you do get pass this extra hard stitching I am sure it will be painful when walking. NOT a good design at all and if your foot is not narrow like a child's this will be a BAD BAD fit! Now I will exchange for the shorties and not have any Ugg boots for my trip... :(

I bought these boots because they were supposed to be a charcoal color, got them and they were a gray color. I had to struggle to put them on, could not get the pass my ankle they were so tight.
