I am super bummed. I read all the reviews..ordered a full size bigger (always 7 in Uggs, ordered 8) and the reviews were right. These are SO hard to get on your feet. And its too bad bc they are beautiful!!! I love the color, the knit is so soft, gold buttons look great...but i cant get over having to literally STRUGGLE to get my foot in the boot. Maybe it would stretch over time? Not sure why UGG made it SO tight around the ankle. I have tiny ankles too...sadly I dont think I can deal with the actual pain it caused me to get my foot in the shoe. Posting pic to illustrate. Buyer be warned...you will likely be dissapointed in this fit if youre accustomed to other UGG knit boots. If you do decide to try, definitely size up.

I love these in theory. They look great, but are impossible to get on. They’re breathable and comfortable, but they won’t stay up when they are unfolded. Sadly, they are not worth the price tag.

Well as far as everyone says they had to struggle to get them on all you have to do is stick your finger down in boot pull heel back they go on no problem . Totally comfortable casual and loving them

These boots are perfect! I love them so much better than the Classic Cardy, which are wool and very stretchy. I was in doubt because most reviews said they were very difficult to get on, the band just needs a slight tug and on they go. I am returning the Classic Cardy because these are a much more slim design on the leg , where the Classic has alot of material. A size 5 fit me in the Classic Cardy but my original size 6 fit me in these. I would love to get another pair in black because they are so comfortable and probably the best fit ever in an Ugg.

This my first pair of UGGs. I ordered a size down after reading all the reviews - usually wear a size 7.5 - 8, ordered a size 7. As stated in previous reviews, these UGGS are difficult to pull on over the instep due to the seam, but once on, they fit like a glove. Super soft and comfortable! I will wear these like slippers, with no sock, so I would consider going up a size if winter socks are involved. I live in the South where the really cold sock-needing days are few and far between! Now I am ready for winter and to order my next pair.

The boots were very hard to get on. I struggled and struggled to pull them on. Finally got on but felt tight on the top of my foot. Very cute but had to return

Mannnnn, I've never been more disappointed in my life. I knew the reduced price was too good to be true. They have even lowered the price 10 more dollars since I purchased them last week. The shoe is impossible to get on. I thought maybe it was because I have a wide foot, but that's never been a problem with their other boots. The stitching across the ankle part is tighter and shorter than the original Cardy knit. Because they are knitted, they may stretch a little if the material was damp, but who wants to ruin a brand new shoe, so I am unfortunately returning both pairs and will try something else.

Not only are they different from your typical Ugg but I get alot of looks and stares ?? once people find out what they are! LOVE LOVE LOVE!

I ordered a full size up from what I normally wear in Uggs. These fit perfect. I do feel what others say is the tightness around the ankle but I had no trouble putting my foot in, just had to push a little. I actually like that they are tighter because it holds the boot on my foot when I walk. In my regular cardy boot, the boot slips partially off with each step and it makes walking difficult. I am so glad that I ordered the Purl style. Even the knit is nice looking, very clean...and yes, there is stretch to this material as well. Love them!

These are great! They fit true to size and are really comfy. Like many of the other reviewers, I found them a bit tight to get on, but I appreciated that they were nice and snug once they were on.

Loved these boots right out of the box! They are so warm and comfortable! They feel like wearing slippers! My new favorite boot!

My wife loves these uggs, they are a little difficult to get on but it’s necessary so the boot fits properly and it doesn’t “flop” when you walk like the older style. Very easy to get off. Extremely comfortable and the material is great. Well made and if you take care of them they last forever.

I originally bought a full size smaller than I normally wear as that is what I have to do with most Uggs however that was not the case with these boots. The size smaller wouldn't even allow my foot to get past the arch of my foot. Ordered the 8 and they fit great -- a little tough to get on but fit great once my foot is in. Very comfortable. Not super warm but very cute.

great boot but the stitching along the shoe part is tight preventing my daughter from getting her foot into the shoe.

I have four pairs of Uggs, all are size 9 and fit almost identically, so when I ordered these, it didn’t even occur to me to read the reviews, but I wish I had, because the Purl Cardys are at least a full size smaller than any of the others I own (all are size 9). Additionally, it was nearly impossible to get my feet into them, because the ankle of the boot is uncharacteristically narrow. They’re really cute, so it’s disappointing that I’ll have to return them, but the size difference is too much.

As previously mentioned in reviews these run VERY small. While the footbed is a bit small (vs. other UGG boots i own) - the instep is VERY narrow- hence difficult to get on. Even in the 1 size up boot - there is some pressure around the ankle/instep once the boots are on. I like them otherwise and am hoping that with some wear the stiffness of the ankle/instep area will reduce and they will be completely comfortable.

These are cute. But the fit is weird. My right foot goes in easily but I have to really pull my left foot in. I’m worried I’m stretching the knit more on the left side. They slouch down so I wouldn’t wear them pulled up but they do a well enough job. Don’t think I’d pay full price for these though and definitely order a half size up at least.

I like the look a lot! I tried to wear these up and they kept slouching down, so I’ll end uo always wearing them rolled down in half.

I took a chance on these boots although the other reviews told me not to. These boots are so tight around the ankle that after you struggle to get them on, and as nice as they may look, they are extremely uncomfortable around the ankle. Ugg should know this. I have 5 other pair of their boots. I'm very surprised at them for selling such an uncomfortable item.

They LOOK nice, I got 2 pairs black and gray for my daughters. First pair- I couldn’t get my foot in. They are too tight to slide foot in. The other pair you were able to slide your foot in but it felt wide and uncomfortable. Returning both pairs.

I really like the look of this boot but putting them on is actually problematic. I can GET them on, but it feels like very many attempts is going to pull the soft knit away from the very short boot last that it's on. They feel like they would be comfortable in cold weather but I am too ill at ease with what feels like a quickly torn boot in the future. Gotta return them. drats.

Super comfy, order size down. I was a little disappointed in the wear of the fabric. I have only had my boots for a few weeks and the fabric around the top of the boot is fraying. I am not sure if it is simply this particular pair because I also have them in grey and it is not doing it on those boots. Overall the boots are great! Just a little disappointed in the wear of the fabric. Also a little hard to get on.

I am very disappointed with fit of this boot. I have worn the classic Cardy for years with no issue. I wore my old pair to death, so it was time for new ones. I saw the Purl and decided to give them a try. These boots are not constructed like the classic Cardy. The stitching that goes across the top of the foot of the Purl is tighter than on the original Cardy. I can't get my foot in these! Also, the heel of the Purl is much more stiff that the original Cardy. The original Cardy is much more comfortable that this Purl boot. I am in the process of sending the Purl back right now. Ordered the classic Cardy instead and I am much happier with the classic.
