Took me a few times wearing them before I really loved them. Why? the sole is very soft and i was not used to this. But trust me, those shoes are very comfortable.

Love these shoes! They look great on my feet (always a nice surprise!) The length and width is true to size. I feel good wearing them with a skirt or dress because they are dressy enough. ( I can no longer wear heels.) The style and material is just what I had been looking for. BTW, I have low/flat arches, bunions, a hammertoe and am in my 60s. Totally recommend these shoes!

These are a perfect fit and super comfy! We are only returning bc my daughter chose something more dressy.

I absolutely love them. They are very comfortable shoes for walking, and standing. They are not tight on any part of your feet.

I have 3 other pairs of Clarks Ayla Low and was happy to find the burgundy was on sale! The burgundy is a lovely shade of red. As with my other Ayla Lows, the shoes were comfortable straight out of the box.

This is the second pair of these shoes I have bought. Very comfortable cushioned inside with a true fit. More to the casual look so not one fits all occasions kind of flat.

These shoes are exactly what I've been searching for. They are casual, comfortable and stylish.

OH MY GOODNESS I have always expected Clark's shoes to be the most comfortable in the world and these do not disappoint. I think I need a few more colors.

Will be wearing these a lot! Lightweight, sides do not gap when walking, remain very comfortable with longer walk, stitching is attractive, high quality shoe.

As a teacher, I need comfortable shoes. Style has become less important to me as time goes on. These are not the most stylish shoes by any stretch of the imagination, but comfy from the first step. A little small in the toe box if you have bunions.

I really cannot say anything bad about this shoe because I had originally ordered my normal size (9) and it was at least a half size too large, so I returned them and ordered the next smaller size (8.5) which is this particular shoe and, of course, it was too small. So I am now attempting to return the smaller size of the Ayla Low. In retrospect, I should probably have looked inside the size 9 shoe to be certain that it was in fact a 9 and not a larger size in a box marked 9. I am disappointed because I really do like Ayla Low.

I have worn Clarks shoes for over 30 years, and I have always worn a 9 medium, so I ordered these cute shoes in the size I have always worn. I received them quickly from Zappos and tried them on immediately. They were huge...at least a half size larger, perhaps more. I thought maybe the sizing had changed so I returned them and ordered the next size smaller...an 8.5. When they arrived, I was disappointed that they were far too small. So I now have to return these and hope to find a comfortable black flat from another maker, since this Clarks shoe simply will not fit me.

These look just like the picture. I found another brand that worked better for me both in style and fit. The heel was a bit wide and I have a wide foot. These are probably great walking shoes if the fit works.

These shoes seem like they would be comfortable. They are exactly as they look in the pictures. They were slightly bit in heel on me. I have a wide foot.

Loved these shoes but the heel slipped so forced to return them.

I have a pretty wide forefoot but narrow heels, and my heels wouldn't stay in these shoes, so I returned them. They were comfortable underfoot. I think if you had "regular" medium feet they'd work well as a basic black flat.

Really comfortable, even after quite some time wearing them.

Overall I am very happy with these shoes. I always search reviews to find shoes with a wider toe box, as this is my major fitting problem. These are just fine. At my age (70's) I like a wedge rather than a heel. Flats are not comfortable for me. Although it is a slighter rise than I usually wear, it is enough, along with the subtle design on the toe, to look nice with a skirts as well as slacks. The highest marks go to the soft feel inside, for comfort. The only minus is that, from Clark's I had expected more arch support. If I had planned to wear them for a day's work, rather than for a few hours for dress, I might not be as pleased. I expect it to be a very good winter shoe for just about all occasions. This footbed was so comfortable! It had enough arch support but they still have a lot of cushion. Unfortunately they rubbed the bottom of my ankle and my heel. But I would try other styles with this insole.

I really wanted to like these shoes. They're VERY soft and stretchy. But I am walking out of the backs because while I need a wide width for the front of my foot, I need a regular width heel. There was also a gap in the middle of the shoe as I stepped, for the same reason. However someone with a more normal last would probably love these.

I really liked these shoes and was so thrilled with the way they looked, fit and felt as I walked around the house. However, I have a toe that is having some issues right now and the longer I wore the shoes, the more pain I experienced. I am truly sad that I had to return these shoes. If my toe returns to good condition, I shall give these shoes another try.

Love the shoes, they seem to run just a bit narrower in the toe area than the last ones of this style that I purchased but still very comfortable!

This shoe would be perfect except for the heel. It is loose and eats your socks. Tried different pair did the same. Tried without socks too loose slides up and down nearly coming off. These are so cute, comfortable and well made really hating to return them.
