Fit and comfortable straight out of the box.

I have small wide feet ( men's 8 EEE) and have a terrible time purchasing shoes. Most shoes are narrow and wides are almost impossible to find. These were comfortable out of the box. As they break in alittle more I have a feeling that they are going to feel more like slippers than workboots!! I'll definately be back for another pair in the future.

Love the shoes had one 8 years ago and its still good except for the back part of the he shoe( the heel ) on right side was starting to talk had to put some glue in it

very comfortable boots. I do paving and was hoping that they would last the 8 month season before failing (which is usual). They only lasted 1 month before failing. Had they lasted the 8 months, I would have no problem spending the $150/season for comfort, but can't spend that kind of money every month.

Had to return because I ordered my typical boot size, if I purchase in the future I will be buying true to size. Other than that the foot is comfortable and well made

My husband liked the first pair of San Joses I gave him so much, he asked for a 2nd pair in another color. Nothing like having your work fit dialed.

Pretty comfortable boot right out of the box, fit feels pretty true to size. Definitely much less foam in the sole than I expected but its pretty comfortable while walking. Very impressed by the overall construction and craftsmanship on the leather.

Hi everyone, I hope you're doing well I ordered these boots for the upcoming landscaping construction season, which started April 2023. Comfortable, lightweight-enough, extra wide, subtle styling, and most importantly - fully leather without a silly membrane! I was super delighted with the boots until June/23 when the soles started peeling.. It started with small areas on the toe and heel. I'd remedy this on weekends and after-work nights with specialized glue and clamps - this was in addition to my bi-weekly handwash and balm routine to keep the boots neat After a month of battling with the issue it became clear the soles weren't salvageable and it was all taking up too much precious time. Considering the price, the KEEN name, and my approach to boot-care, myself and the crew were pretty surprised with all this On July 10th I emailed KEEN about the issue, wrote a follow up email on the 19th, and then emailed again on Aug 22 - all three emails went unanswered. Couldn't reach anyone by phone. This review is my last attempt to set things right and perhaps will serve as a warning for others Best wishes, Tristan

Comfortable. Lightweight.

the boot looks great, and really comfortable. the only thing that really holds this boot back is the inside stitching at the ankle area, it rubs through your socks and creates raw and rug burn like spots. you could always apply mole skin to prefect this but then you (the purchaser) are making an extra step to eliminate this issue. this very unfortunate.

The soles were comfortable, the boot was light, but the area around the ankle and heel are unpadded leather. I returned them after a couple days of trial.

So much better than the first pair. Thank you for holding true to the warranty.

Only had them a couple days and the soles started falling off. Love the comfort of the shoe otherwise.

This is my fourth pair of San Jose boots. Probably my favorite color so far. Definitely a fan of the standard non-waterproof version, as I found the waterproof pair to be too hot for daily wear, especially in the summer. (Theyve been moved to casual winter time duty)

Had the boots 3 weeks and the tread became completely detached from the sole of the boot. Having said that, this is my 4th pair of the exact same boot because I usually like them so much. Must be a defective pair

Sole started to fall off within 2 months of purchasing. I have an office job that requires safety toe shoes. I walk at most 3 miles a day in these. They are comfy and stylish but are a 2 out of 10 for durability.

Comfortable, light weight boot but the sole started to seperate after a month of wear.

boots are very nice & comfortable but one downside is they stink after a couple months i never had any issues with my feet smelling but this boot was causing that issue, i had to stop wearing them and wear my old boots again which i dont have that feet smelling issue with.

Some of the most comfortable boots I've ever worn and love the way they look! Only complaints are that the toe seam has split in under a year and if you run into any snow or mud they turn into slicks real quick. Maintenance and remodel 10+ hours a day

Im a truck driver and this is now my third pair of San Jose aluminum toe boots. Love them. Work ready and comfortable day one straight out of the box. Break in time is minutes rather than weeks. I even wear them for daily walkers and date night (when I can get away with it).

I ordered a pair of San Jose 6" and loved them but after very little time some stitching came apart. Keen sent me a new pair the same size, the left boot fit great but the right boot is like it wasn't made right and doesn't fit right. The laces didn't measure right after tying them, then I thought maybe Keen had accidently put mismatched laces by mistake. But they were the same length. Now Keen won't make it right, yes it's been after the 30 day period unfortunately I was out of state and couldn't address the issue. When you spend good money on a pair of boots you'd like to get a quality product to bad Keen doesn't do right buy their customers !!

I've been wearing these boots for years! Keen is the only work boot I'll buy.
