Great for style and warmth but the Etip wore off after 2 months, which hinders them useless as I need to use my phone outside most of the day while I work.

I use these to keep my hands warm while I'm commuting on foot. Touch screen material wore off in 3 months after purchase. Not even 6 months of use and it's really worn out. Not worth the price!

I thought they were warm but they aren't as warm as I expected. But they are stylish. Fits a bit on the smaller size.

I have purchased and replaced these gloves 2x u see warranty as the "e-tip" doesn't last.
I ended up throwing them in a pile with other old extra hats, mitts, etc....
Would not buy again.

Don't buy. E-tips need to go to top of fingertip, plus they're not warm enough.

I was looking for a pair of gloves that were stylish and versatile. I wanted them to be warm, but not bulky. These gloves are great but not all too warm. I have small hands so I ordered an xs, which ended up being a little loose fitting. I was expecting them to be more form-fitting for an xs. Overall, they're still a great glove and I would purchase them again, maybe in a youth size.

Great for look and great for texting or just using your smartphone, THESE GLOVES ARE NOT FOR WARMTH.

I purchased these gloves in October of 2013, about three months later the Etip sections of my gloves began to change color and were not as sensitive when operating my electronic device. Now in Feb of 2014, Etip is absolutely ineffective. Many other manufacturers produce a similar product at a much lower cost. Whether the competitors product is better, I do not know. But if you are going to purchase something that only last a few months, I would recommend purchasing something less expensive.

i lost my tnf etip gloves from last year and was hoping to replace them. unfortunately, they've been changed. the fit is off and the material doesn't keep hands warm. last year's gloves seemed to have better material and fit.
the only upside is that they do work tech-wise.
overall a thumbs down especially considering the price. $45 for gloves that don't do their primary job (warmth). :-( bring back the old gloves! please?

The quality of the materials is more than acceptable. However, the single stitching design has resulted in holes after just three weeks of casual wear.

Would have expected much warmer gear from north face. I'm not even in a particularly cold climate, and I may as well not even be wearing gloves. The touchscreen works ok, but tough to be accurate with it so you end up having so many typos and misclicks that it's easier to just take the gloves off. Pretty disappointed overall :(

Love the look of the gloves and that it was touchscreen compatible for all five fingers. I got it in grey instead of black since I tend to lose my gloves and I don't want to lose these expensive gloves. The gloves were stylish but it does not keep my fingers warm in 25F weather. Wearing these gloves actually made my fingers freeze since the glove got cold and it was like my finger got wrapped in a fridge. My fingers were warmer not wearing any gloves.

Pros: it looks cool
Cons: everything else. I have fingerless gloves that keep my hands warmer. The fingertips don't form to your hands so good luck being able to work your smartphone while wearing them.
I gave them a good go but returned them today. Very disappointing.

A like the versatility of this glove. Doesn't take up much space, easy to carry in a pocket, comfortable to wear. Nevertheless it's not a winter glove, would not give much warmth. It's rather good to protect your hands from chilly winds during the Fall season. Or might be used in the city.
However if you'd buy it for the Etip feature, I frankly say it's a waste of money. It looks nice, not as bulky as most other smartphone compatible gloves. BUT they do the job. The Etip layer completely wears off in 4 to 6 weeks. Then it becomes nerve-racking to use them with a phone.
It would be a nice glove if it would work. But it's more of a hit-n-miss.

Bought these to help use my phone when snowboarding/skiing, and they work VERY WELL when used for short periods of time outside of another hand layer. They're not great on their own for any temp below 45F. Any wind blows right through the glove.
Used snowboarding in the Alps and walking the dog in Dallas.
Again, great for touchscreen operating.

I bought these low-weight gloves to keep the wind off in mild temperatures and still be able to use electronics. They work for that. The issue is that, after just two weeks, the gloves look 5 years old. The palms have an uneven wear pattern, and a seam on one of the fingers has a thread poking out.

I received these gloves as a gift for Christmas, but due to unseasonably warm Michigan winter only have worn them 2-3 times. However, the tips of the glove are coming apart at the seems. Disappointed in the quality.

I bought these gloves so I wouldn't have to take my hands out to use my phone. I've had these gloves for 3 months and have only used them to commute to work but they do not work with my phone anymore AT ALL. While those gloves kept my hands comfortable, the side near the thumb pulled apart so they are no longer warm either. Maybe I got a bad pair, but I should be able to never stop exploring in these gloves, let alone commute to work in a mild winter.

Way over priced for the quality of the product. You are paying for the name The North Face to be on your hand. I bought these gloves because I THOUGHT they would be a high quality product that would work as advertised, I was wrong. The gloves are designed to be used with touch screen devices, and I have found that they don't work very well. I still end up having to take off my gloves to use my phone. I am also disappointed because these gloves have some rubber spots on the fingers and palm to help you grip things but after 2 months of wear, most of the rubber spots have come off of the gloves. Not to mention that the finger tips are close to wearing through. NOT WORTH THE MONEY!!!

Bought these for driving and all around wear. I've had them a week and they already show signs wear plus the grip palm is falling off already... This is not normal for TNF stuff will have to wait till season is over, before I try to warranty these
