I use these as a liner for my ski gloves. When I am out on a mountain and I get a text, it was painful to take off my glove and expose skin to the air for 30 seconds to a minute. These gloves have solved that problem. I actually liked these so much I bought a second pair. I have decent sized hands and the L and XL both fit equally well. You have the dexterity of your bare hands with the warmth of a thinner glove. I've even used these for working on high rise roofs in the winter because you have the ability to easily use your hands for finer finger movements. I wouldn't use these as a cold weather glove, but on the days when it is warmer and sunny they make a pretty decent glove. The major use issue I have though is that the thumb has a seam over the part where I usually touch my phone causing it to not function properly.

As soon as these gloves came out, I bought a pair for myself. This holiday season, I bought a pair for my bf. We both love these gloves. They are very comfortable and form fitting, no matter the size/shape of your hand. They also work 100% of the time with our smart phones. The only downfall is that they are not as warm as some of the other North Face Gloves; however, i knew this when purchasing them. Love to have the North Face Logo on all my outdoor gear. Definitly a trusted brand.

We have ordered this glove before in a different color, the texting finger pads lasted about a year. Otherwise the glove held up well and kept hands warm while skiing.

An excellent glove that protects from cold and can still stir the cell.

I purchased these gloves to match my coat. These gloves are great for texting. They do not keep my hands as warm as I would have expected. I also like how you can clip the gloves together so you won't lose them!

If you are looking for gloves for harsh condition weather, this is not for that. I used it for driving during commuting. This is good gloves for that. Drip works well. I can even text it with not much effort. Overall, it is good gloves for light cold weather but if you are looking for full protection from harsh environment, look for something else.

First off, the picture above is a little inaccurate. The picture depicts gloves, but not with the metallic E-Tip on the index fingers and thumbs. These gloves are great for driving if you don't have a heated steering wheel and the E-Tips allow smartphone access while keeping your hands warm. They are on the lighter side, so while they could be used as standalone gloves, especially if it's windy outside, I'd recommend using these as liners and upgrading to the TNF Apex gloves (also with E-Tips, assuming you want to stay in the same "E-Tip family"). In terms of fit, they run a little large. I got these at an outlet store, so while they're listed as $45 here, I snagged them for $15 (including tax!), so that was a nice deal!

I have been wearing these gloves almost daily this winter. I have been disappointed with the grips on the hand wearing away after only a few weeks of use.

Fits great, however with the cold WI weather will not keep your hands warm for a long period of time. For that go with something warmer.

These are ok. Nice for walking the dog in colder months. Second pair of north face gloves I've owned that have torn with normal use.

Good for running or protection in mild weather, not much else.

they are a good purchase if you are not in an area that gets frigid, I need to still buy some gloves to run in below 30 degrees.

Advertised on tag but not online, only meant for cool weather not cold. IMO anything under 3 degree Celsius your hands will get cold in these. The etip does work pretty decent, not amazing but good. They're just way too expensive for what they have to offer. I like the buckle it has to keep the gloves together when not wearing them tho. I wouldn't advise buying these unless you're a commuter and will spend most of your time inside a bus or train. Outside you eventually gotta stick your hands in the pocket after 5-10 mins. Not worth IMO

The biggest thing is they're supposed to allow u to text. They're just really hit and miss . Too expensive for no better than they work.

These are nice. If you live in an area that gets and stays cold, you might want to look at something else. Wore them in 45 degree weather and fingers were cold the whole time.

For the price I think that the gloves could have been more insulated

The gloves are rated as for "cool" weather. Based on using them for several months now, I'd say that it's a generous interpretation of cool, because I bought them with a different understanding of what cool weather is. About the only thing they do is break the wind, and not perfectly. They have no thermal performance that I can detect, even in temperatures above freezing. One reviewer joked that they actually keep your hands cooler than bare skin, and I'm tempted to agree. They fit well, are stylish (except for the huge, white logos on each hand), fit comfortably, and have good touch-screen performance (I've had no issues with that so far). These are why I gave three stars, instead of just two or one, because you can't really use them without an additional glove layer to provide the actual heat retention. It's almost enough to turn me off North Face products. Buy something else, unless your hands are not sensitive to cold.

I gave them 3 stars because this was partially my fault for buying these after I read many reviews that told me the truth, yes, they look cool, they fit my hands very very well, and they are super stylish, HOWEVER, they do not keep your hands warm at all. They just don't. If anything, they keep them colder as a co-worker that has the same gloves and I joked. Again, this was me, I read reviews that stated this and still decided to give them a try. Pete the sales guy did his fair share in convincing me too (lol) nice kid. If I had to do it all over again I would def pay an extra $10 for the step up version.

They seemed like good gloves but fit way too tight. I wear a Large in every other glove but would need an XL in these.

Gloves are comfortable and are nice for smart phones. Work really well. These gloves are not warm in temperatures in the teens or 20's. Fingers get really cold if you are outside for a long period of time.

They're fashionable and fit great. That's pretty much it. A big problem is that they don't keep your hands as warm as you'd think. Again, these are pretty gloves, they aren't meant to play with snow. They work well in Texas "cold" which is 30 F, but the wind stil goes through and your hands speed to numbness. If you want something warmer, sacrifice a piece of your outfit for a bulky glove.

I find these gloves very comfortable, but they are not what you want if you are planning to stay outside in the cold for an extended period of time. They do not keep hands warm. Also, the eTip part doesn't really work. First, the adhesive to make it eTip doesn't extend to the tip of the finger, so you have to use the full finger pad to make it work. And even that stopped working after about 6 weeks.

Anything below 20 feels like you're sticking your hands in a cooler filled with ice but if you're just outside quickly or it's not super cold it's a great comfortable glove
