In winter i will used it

I have a very stocky frame and am only 5'6". This was one of the few jackets that would actually fit me properly. The Thermoball was what I actually initially purchased, but on the Large, if I flexed my arm or lats, it felt like the coat would burst. I tried out the Thermoball in XL, but the arms were too long and it also wore too long at my waste. That said, the Nuptse was no compromise whatsoever. Arms, chest and waist length were perfect! I feel like I'm donning a soft quilt every time I put it on, and whenever I'm out in public I regularly get compliments on how great it looks. It's incredibly warm and the couple of rainstorms I've been in, the water just beads up on the surface of both the jacket and hood. I do sometimes wish the hood was insulated and that the hood also had a front-to-back adjustment like some of the other jackets offered by TNF. (I've found however, if I wear a ballcap under the hood, it works perfectly) Lastly, the jacket is far lighter in weight than it looks.

I just wanted to leave a long overdue review because I bought this jacket in 2001 and it's still going strong 20 years later. I still wear it constantly and it just doesn't wear out! I'd love to buy a new one but I can't break this one! If you buy this jacket you better really like it because you're going to have it for a really long time. Best value for money ever. No rips, no tears, no problems with the Zipper, it just goes on and one. North Face are the bomb!

I love this jacket. So warm and comfy. Only concern is when I zip and unzip the pockets it kind of feels like the fabric will get stuck in the zipper but it hasn't happened yet so

Best nuptse to wear in cold weather. Can also be worn for casual wear. Looks heavy but really lightweight, and keeps you warm in the cold mornings.

It's the same NUPTSE, but it feels like a different product.

It's great for mid 30s to 20s but with some extra layers inside, you'll be good for below 0.

This jacket fits perfectly. I love that its lightweight but puffy at the same time. Works well as a outer layer you can definitely wear a hoodie under it !

I love wearing my nupste, and for the first couple of weeks after I just got it, I wore it almost every day. It's warm and comfortable. Not to mention how it goes with any outfit if you get it in black. It's a timeless jacket that's now my favorite to wear.
