This jacket is great for the chilly SF Bay Area winter! It blocks out the cold wind nicely and you probably only need to wear a t-shirt underneath since it does so well in keeping you warm. This jacket is a must for those who love doing outdoor activities in the cold. In regards to sizing, it is true to size.

First of all, this jacket is my favorite jacket I own. I am quite picky about my jackets so being able to say that it is my favorite is pretty rare. Not only is this jacket great looking, it is very warm as well. I absolutely love how light weight this jacket is and how you are able to stow the hood a way in the collar. Some may not like the boxy retro design but, personally think it looks cool. I chose the TNF Black color because I always wear black. I appreciate how there are so many colors to choose from. In all I would definitely recommend the Nuptse jacket to anyone who is looking for warm, lightweight, good looking jacket.

Purchased this for our foreign exchange student from Spain. He is now living in central Minnesota and is not used to temperatures below freezing. This jacket keeps him warm during outdoor activities like ice fishing and skiing. He is much happier with the Nuptse jacket as he doesn't like a hood (prefers to wear a stocking cap). Thanks for keeping him warm as he experiences a Minnesota winter!

Need to restock sooner

The nuptse doesn't leave my body. I can go utside in the cold with just my coat and then curl up on the couch inside, still wearing my nuptse and be comfortable. It regulates my body temperature to always be comfortable. Hard to find a pic of me during winter without my nuptse on.

My son loves this jacket. It fits true to size and is great quality. I ordered a M and he is 5'7 137lbs.

Love the coat, and would buy it again, but not directly with North Face. Customer Service is another question after five attempts and being on hold forever - my issues were finally corrected.

I ordered to my husband. He like it so much.
