Had this same jacket in 1996 at 16 years old timeless piece very stylish and never goes out of style

This year I needed a down jacket. And after trying several women's sizes--none of which fit me and some of which were incredibly heavy, I turned to men's jackets. It is comfortable in every way, light weight and good looking. I'll be using it for years.

My husband saw this coat on a Pro athlete and loved it. He said it reminded him of the "old school" jackets. The name of the jacket fits it perfectly. I bought this as a surprise gift for him and it looks great and he says its SUPER warm.

96 way. STUPID cozy. Grab one if you know what's good for you

It's a really good heavyweight jacket. It feels leagues better than my old down jacket I had for over 10 years. The fact I can store this within it's own right pocket is a major feature that sealed the deal for me. It will save a lot of space and trouble for me when at work, or at get-togethers.

I have to walk my dogs three times a day. Winters, even in Tennessee can be really unpleasant without the right coat. This coat is perfect. I just walked the dogs in 30 degrees with sleet and I was perfectly comfortable with just a long sleeve t shirt underneath. I no longer dread winter.

The jacket lives up to all the rage. It's soft and puffy. Being a stand up collar, it does a good job and laying flat which was a big deal for me (short necked). It ended up being warmer than I was expecting. When I'm indoors where it's already warm I have to take it off because I feel my back overheating. The fit from the chest down was amazing too. Normally I have problems with TNF tops because the product gets tight on my hips. Sizing up results in it being too big everywhere else. This is a great fit which is customizable with the bands on the waistline. The jacket lives up to everything you expect it to. But if TNF were to make a bigger badder brother I'd like to see one with a built in hood. The zip out hood didn't cut it for the cold weather and snow where I am. Another alternative to adjusting the wrists would be nice as well. If not then at least more room to make it tighter. I don't have the option to adjust it to how tight I need it so it's loose (though still visually appealing). Finally the zippers. I don't have any problems with it getting stuck, but it would be great if it had a double zipper. Being that a newer version would be more "premium", an upgrade on the zipper pulls wouldn't be a bad idea either. All in all the nuptse is a great jacket. Definately considering getting another.

Great product, warm nice to see the old school styles coming back. My only gripe is that its too short in the body. I ordered one size up to be able to wear it over winter clothes, broad enough in the shoulder and trunk, be nice if it was 4 inches longer in the back.

This jacket is awesome. I recently saw a very stylish DJ I like wearing it and thought it looked great. Winter is starting in Wisconsin so I jumped on this right away and I'm very happy I did.

I really loved the box it came in. I unfortunately shipped it to the wrong address but, overall I'm very happy!

Really love this coat, I bought it for my husbands birthday and he absolutely loves it.

I purchased the original jacket back in 1996 and loved it back then as a teenager and I love it as an adult. A true icon in TNF collection as gar as fashion and protection from cold weather. TNF needs to bring back all of its iconic products from the 90s.

Great product, light weight, easy move. It is just smaller than I thought, so I changed to a larger size.

I brought this as a gift to my dad. He has been wearing North face for 11 years now and he needed a new one he doesn't wear any coat besides North Face. He loves everything about it. Fir him just perfect and he is 69 years old

I wear it for work, it is waterproof and warm, I will buy it again, good for the price
