Use as an everyday cold weather jacket. Freezing rain on the first day I got the coat was glad to see it was waterproof.

At the first time I got this jacket, I can not believe there is a damage on this jacket. Besides, the color of the jacket is different with my expectation.

Ok so this is the review you are going to want to hear that for some reason people are not writing. This is the 1996 RETRO nuptse jacket. What comes to your mind when you think about 1996? For me it is HIP HOP. The average young hiker wont care anything about the coat im sure. It is from 1996. It was iconic for that era. i got this coat for the nostalgia, MY nostalgia. Having said that...it runs small. I am usually a mens small/medium. I am 5'8" , 140 lbs. 30" waist. I had to actually go wifh a North Face XL size for this coat. Simple fact: it is boxy and short cut. Im well aware the point of the goose down is to keep it close to your body to benefit from the warmth. There are drawcords on the waist to keep it tighter to keep air and cold out. Size up is my recommendation!!! U know why you're buying this coat anyhow. Otherwise..(you would jus buy a 'modern fitting' nuptse.)

When it's cold out or when skiing .

This is the perfect winter jacket. Lightweight, warm, comfortable. I ordered a size up because I wear bulky sweaters in the winter and I have plenty of room for layering.

I love how light this jacket is. Im living in MN, so I have to deal with cold weather. This one does great job as insulator. I usually go to gym at my univ, and I have to Store my stuff in my backpack before working out. This jacket is puffy but I can easily compress and when it is compressed it take less place than hoodie

I use this coat to style. Plus I travel a lot so it keeps me warm. My favorite colors red so having this color available is a bonus.

I use this mostly for ice skating and the fit is amazing! It doesn't restrict my movement & I truly feel that it is better than any other coat I've bought!
