Preparing for winter trip to Yellowstone. Will wear it under existing TNF waterproof shell. This jacket has 3 point attachment and packs to small size for days not needed. I can have a 3-in-1 without buying a whole new outfit. Wore LL Bean Baxter State parker on last trip and it was way too hot.

I like TNF. and 1996 is my fov.

I bought this jacket because the last Northface Puffer Jacket I had was back in 2009, the reason being that I relocated to an area where it rarely below 60F. That being said, now I moved back to the Northeast and these 1996 Nuptse jackets are probably one of the warmest, lightest, and most comfortable down jacket you could ever purchase right now that is both timeless and stylish. Retro-looks are having a moment these days and these jackets sell out quick! I'm looking into getting another one in Urban Navy color but my size is currently out of stock. All in all, Great Buy for the season!!
