less than my expectations

I love this beanie and was so disappointed to return it. I have a small head and anticipated no problems with fit. Most one size beanies either fit well or are too big. Unfortunately this beanie runs small. It is well made, softly lined on the inside, and a classic. The fit is just too snug. I debated keeping it and trying to stretch it, but ultimately I decided to return it.

Great look...quality material....very small beanie.....I have a large melon at 7 3/4 and this beanie didn't come close to fitting. Very small heads only.

Stretches out too much, picks up lint balls and it renders it looking old.

This beanie stretches so much I've started using it as a rag. I've bought dozens of the North Face hats over the years but this one is the worst.

I have another beanie in the "short" size and it fits perfectly. When I ordered this beanie in a short size, it was too small and now I have to return it. I would expect better consistency in their sizing. Also, the graphite gray color does not look in person and it looks like something an old man would wear.
