I basically wear it when I go out for an evening or shopping. It's very lightweight and comfortable and keeps me very warm.

It's a lightweight coat. I layer it with a wool sweater and feel pretty warm. Not for colder weather. I live in Minnesota, and this winter has been pretty mild, so the coat has been perfect.

Great jacket, just fits very small. I wear size M in every outer layer I own. This jacket is small around the stomach.

TNF has awkward sizing. I ordered this jacket in size Small and Medium. I wear Medium in almost everything I own. But the medium north face jacket was huge. It was so puffy, I looked like the Michelin man wearing this puffer. The size small was too snug around the abdomen, and it is slightly short. So if you don't have a 6-pack of abs, it will fit tight on you. I am 5'9" and 160 pounds.

Mostly as a regular winter jacket absolutely in love with the color scheme. I also ended up ordering a second jacket as a back up that is still in the bag from North face that I will likely use in the future in case they stop making this color way

Use this jacket mainly when running errands, walking & hiking. Nice lightweight jacket. Jacket runs a little on the small side. Would buy again.

I wear it every day, under a light fleece lined jacket. It keeps me warm even on days when it is 30 degrees or so. The jacket is comfortable, a bit tight for a medium, but still comfortable

Love the look and feel of the jacket. The size runs small. It is a tighter, tailored fit. Ordered the next size up and look forward to its arrival.

It's very lightweight and it made 30 degree weather bearable with just a t-shirt underneath.

I am knocking this item by 1 star and the reason is because of the choice of branding material. Instead of a sticker-like attachment of The North Face brand it would have been perfect if the brand was stiched on all their products; or what I like to say is "quality that lasts."

Good quality. Too puffy. Too stiff.

Nice jacket but collar rubs on my face and when you move jacket makes a lot of noise.

I have owned the Black Stretch Down Jacket for a year now and unfortunately do not believe it is worth the money. I am a medical worker and purchased the jacket with a discount last fall. The fit is pretty snug. I had to initially exchange a size small in for a medium. The jacket looks great however it has a big issue. Feathers are constantly coming out of the jacket. This makes the jacket unsightly and over time affects the warmth of the jacket. I would not repurchase at a discount and definitely not at full price. I really like the North Face and have to believe they offer other jackets that are better in quality.

It's alright I purchased it then returned it for the Summit Series 800 pro, it's way too 90s. If you purchase this jacket you have to go a size down it runs big, I'm 6'3 and purchased a XXL and was swimming in it. Soon as I put it on I ran ordered the summit series 3 min later. The one thing about this jacket is that when you put it on it doesn't look like you just purchased a new jacket but instead it has that jacket that was all the way back in the closet you haven't worb for years
