I'd primarily use while snowboarding and I'd recommend going up a size for range of motion for the legs. The upper bib only adjusts on the straps so if you have an average build or above you'll appreciate the extra room

Material and quality of the product seem good, pockets are nice.
Under the "benefits" on the product page it says insulated, which is untrue. These are a shell. One would assume that for being 60 dollars more than the freedom insulated pants that these would be insulated, but they are not despite what the product page says. Very misleading.
They are also tight in the crotch. The size chart is confusing, I am a 32 waist so I bought a M since it says that the L is for a 36 waist. Pretty snug without even having pants on underneath. Size up if you want to layer. The crotch doesn't have a lot of room. Pretty tight if you have to bend.
Skeptical,

I like the fit and style of these bibs, I have yet to use them out in the snow yet. Upon arrival, I was shocked at the color of the "Beech Green" color, the picture looks NOTHING like real life. The picture makes it look like a khaki color and in real life, they are like olive. If i had known this I would have gotten the black

So so so thin. They look great and they are very comfortable, but just too thin for what's considered a "high quality" snowpant. I skied in them twice, and ripped three holes in the left hip on the second day from one singular fall on some ice. No snowpant designed to be for skiers or snowboarders should not ever be this thin. Very disappointed because I'm normally very happy with North Face quality

Everything would have been great. However, the one of the suspenders is stitched the wrong way so they stayed entangled all the time. The only solution is to return it or to cut the suspender and stitch it back the correct way.....lots of extra trouble therefore not a happy purchase

Fit was good, but no insulation other than the outside and inside nylon. Hey North Face, how come the men don't get insulation in your bibs?

Been buying these for years, same size. Held this year's pair up next to 2 year old pair - fit is radically different. Rise was shortened and waist narrowed. Stitching and fabric quality now worse too.

Used these for light skiing in winter. Wore them about 15 times before a massive rip formed all along the stitching making them unusable. Contacted warranty and they said it was wear and tear. Only reason I gave 2 stars is because they were breathable. Overall would not recommend

bought this in January 2023. Worn it for 3 times and the back leg area ripped after a fall in the snow. It didn't even last me 2 months. Got the size right but not sure what happened there. It was not durable after all. Stay away

I don't understand why these have a 'Chimney Vent System. Gaitors should keep snow out of your pants/boots, why on earth would you put mesh there? I get snow in my boots when walking through deep pow

I was excited to get this bib for this season. They are comfortable and perfect temp with a base layer. Material is cheap. Fell once and the knee ripped. Will not buy again.

Ordered a large thinking that would be plenty of room for movement and extra layer. It was way too small. Returned and ordered XL. HUGE difference in size. Maybe my large was a medium that was mislabeled.

Ordered these for my son, they look great, but there was a huge hole in one of the pockets and when he reached out, well the service they offered was tedious and not very customer friendly. I understand that things happen, but they didn't seem very interested in fixing it.

Just for the powder hounds, the Chimney Vent systems of the the built in gators that go around your boot are basically installing a screen door on a submarine.
Take a step into powder and all of a sudden you have snow melting into your boot - I've told NF about this as soon as they released this TradeMark design. It's a huge design flaw.
If you like going into powder, this Chimney Vent is going to ruin your ride when your feet are cold and wet.
I also, gave 2 stars because I owned the model up from this bib, the Ceptors and the crotch blew out within weeks of ownership. North Face have great service and warranty so they replaced them for me however, they need to go back to their old manufacturing, this stuff used to be much more durable and the Chimney Vents I mentioned are horrible.

As a ski instructor I used this bib daily, it lasted 4 months. I had multiple crashes wearing the bib and it quickly started to show with cuts and tears in the material and eventually the strap completely tore off making it unusable. Also the upper half of the snow cuff is made of mesh so when you do wipeout you can get a little snow inside. The bib is very waterproof, breathable, fits well and looks good.

Got theses cause I needed a black pair of ski bibs for ski patrol. The 3rd time I wore them the seam on my left lower leg ripped. Perfectly to the point that this was a defect. I will definitely be returning these ASAP. I guess I should have spent more on the future light bib. The 1st time ever giving a bad review. I hope this doesn't continue....

The legs are too narrow for ski and snowboard boots. The fit is ok in thigh but tapers down and barely fits over boots cause them to bunch up and not very freely. Maybe ok for recreational skier but I don't recommend for freestyle

I just got the blue and beech green in the mail last week. Unfortunately they decided to change the blue to blue and yellow. Instead of being all blue with subtle logos as shown in the photo. Now the blue is blue and yellow. The pair i received have bright yellow straps, yellow zippers and yellow logos. I was really looking forward to all blue solid bibs pretty bummed on the color way.

Completely destroyed after two seasons. These are made of tissue paper. Probably great for the private equity bottom line though.

Single layer only - zero warmth level at all. Who ever thought this was suitable for winter sports, needs to spend some time away from the beach and actually use them in the environment intended.

Returned - live in South Dakota and the wind and cold was just coling right through the material.
