Got theses cause I needed a black pair of ski bibs for ski patrol. The 3rd time I wore them the seam on my left lower leg ripped. Perfectly to the point that this was a defect. I will definitely be returning these ASAP. I guess I should have spent more on the future light bib. The 1st time ever giving a bad review. I hope this doesn't continue....

The legs are too narrow for ski and snowboard boots. The fit is ok in thigh but tapers down and barely fits over boots cause them to bunch up and not very freely. Maybe ok for recreational skier but I don't recommend for freestyle

I just got the blue and beech green in the mail last week. Unfortunately they decided to change the blue to blue and yellow. Instead of being all blue with subtle logos as shown in the photo. Now the blue is blue and yellow. The pair i received have bright yellow straps, yellow zippers and yellow logos. I was really looking forward to all blue solid bibs pretty bummed on the color way.

Bought an XL but feels like a Large. Guess it's not true to size.

Quality material but very tight fitting. Had to return medium size replaced with large still tight around the chest. Difficult to maneuver.

It's comfortable. But it's fragile too. My son found his the Men's Freedom Bibs ripped after wearing for just two days. He didn't know when it was damaged, as he did not fall during skiing for those two days.

North Face is making junk these days, and the Freedom bib is no exception. The stitching blew out and fabric tore after three days of use.

Fit and look are great, but the outter material tears like a napkin. Super disappointed that my 2nd time wearing them I got a nickel sized tear when it should have brushed right by.

Terrible zipper design for men. The zipper starts up at your sternum so it's hard to go pee without first unzipping your outer layer and mid layer. Sent them back immediately and would not recommend

I liked the fit and from North Face, I expected a durable piece I could trust, especially as an occasional backcountry rider. Instead, the pants tore at the seam behind the knee after 3 chill sessions at a local Vancouver resort.
I'm feeling very frustrated with the lifetime warranty - the cost to ship these pants out to get them repaired and the potential repair cost add up to more than half the price of the pants. Even if they do replace them, I don't really want them anymore. I'd rather just put that money towards a buying better quality snowpants that can survive their intended use.

Tried to return these pants with the included return label, apparently they got lost, label didn't include tracking information so I'm just out the money. Otherwise they were fine, ran a little large, hence the return...

First day skiing the crotch split! Come on Northface! What good are all the bells and whistles if you're seams don't hold? And you don't have anymore XL in this color.

I'm a snowmobile guide in Whistler BC, I've been using TNF gear for years now and these are the worst snowpants they've ever made. They lasted me 3 weeks until the crotch ripped, I even got a size up from my normal medium as this years models fit smaller that last years. I always go try on new models before I buy.
The quality of construction wasn't even my first complaint, I emailed TNF as soon as I noticed they got rid of the boot lace clip for the gaiters after wondering why my feet were soaked first day of sledding...because they have a meshed gaiter. Super poor design there. lets snow right in.

Very disappointed, they fit great and look great but after only 2 days skiing the crotch is already coming apart. Now I will be back in my 20 yr old columbia ski pants while I deal with the return/warranty process which has been painful so far. Will probably not get to enjoy a new set of snow pants until next season. First and probably the last item I buy from The North Face.

I have worn and loved North Face Freedom ski pants for years. This freedom Bib, was extremely disappointing. These pants disintegrated the first day I wore them.

these look great, but after one ski day they had a giant hole in the butt. Not sure how it happened - but SUPER disappointing
