Just got this piece in the mail and it's awesome. Gives a fitted look but with a lot of space and flexibility for a very comfortable bib!

Good product, size was a bit small for me around the waste. That's my fault, not the product :)

Runs a little small. Hubby is an XL, L was too small, XL was out of stock, went with the XXL and it's roomy for long johns under and he can still bend to shred on his snowboard.

Very decent. A lot of bang for your buck. Would like a different chest pocket no zipper.

I use the Men's Freedom Bib for recreation , winter sport and even outdoor craftsmen work . The bib is warm and functional when doing craft work outside especially during the holidays like plowing snow or trimming the outer house with lights for Christmas. The cargo pockets come in handy for storing basic tools like measuring tape, screw driver , leatherman , work gloves and etc. The upper bib portion does provide a added layer of protection for the upper body against wind abrasion in contrast to the standard waist high ski pants . Waist belt loops are a plus for those who like to have a more fitted feel. Overall a good all around bib/ ski pants and reasonably priced in comparison to the higher end expeditionary style bib/ski pants .

I just got these as a replacement after the crotch blew out on my old ones. The external layer feels less rugged, not as water resistant, and overall cheap by comparison to the old design. Given that there is only a weekend left in the season I will have to update this later on how they are holding up. Another downside is that they got rid of the crotch zipper so now if you gotta take a break in the trees you have to unzip your jacket.

Used these recently. They are very good against wind and snow. Don't like that you can't unclip the straps and they need a two way zipper on the front so you don't have to unzip your jacket and unzip the entire front of the bibs to use the restroom.

I use these bibs for hiking when it's cold and windy. Very light weight and comfortable for walking. The only downside is I figured after paying over 200 dollars that they would have a 2 way zipper so I could easily go to the bathroom. Makes it very hard to unzip all my jackets .

These seem more like a shell. Am i missing something? Are they going to be warm at all?

Overall they're good. Not crazy about the design. But they'll work for me. I'm a ski patroller and I've been looking for bibs that have cargo pockets. No one seems to be making them anymore. The pockets in front could be bigger.

I use these pants for ski touring. I like the fit, material, ventilation options. But I can;t understand how TNF can make gaiters with mesh. That totally defeats the purpose of said gaiters. Snow comes right in and into the boots. There is also no hook on the gaiters. Also the main zipper has no bottom slider, which requires one to take off upper body layers just to go pee. Too bad...otherwise good product.

Used for skiing and general snow activities. Liked fabric weight, wasn't heavy or stiff, and also appreciated the inner thigh vents!. Unsure about "Ventilated" Snow Cuffs(?) Seems to run Small/Long as Large seemed tight, and short was still too long.

I loved this look but it was too big. I used the sizing chart as a guide and still felt the legs were too baggy and the bottoms dragged on the floor, which I didn't like. So I sized down and was very happy with the replacement bibs.

I'm on my third pair of these bibs in the last 7 years. To be fair, I'm mostly using them for snowmobiling which isn't exactly their designed purpose but they have held up reasonably well. I have found them to be fairly warm and waterproof too, which was why I keep buying them. I am less satisfied with the most recent model, however, as they are lacking some simple features that most snowboarders would still appreciate. The internal snow cuff at the bottom of the pants no longer comes with a hook to catch the laces of your snowboard boots. This lets the cuff ride up your ankle and makes it easier for snow to get in the top of your boots. This problem is compounded by another snow cuff design failure: the cuff is made of two parts; the bottom half is a solid material but the top half is mesh which again allows snow to get into the top of your boots. These problems are only encountered in deep snow when it can get in and under the outer cuff, but I would imagine many users of this product are purchasing a bib (instead of the pants) because they know they'll be encountering exactly that kid of situation.

This is a decent bib, but the cut is a slim fit. When I ski, drive, or bend over I feel the fabric stretch tight on parts of my body, e.g. my gluteus maximus. I was expecting a looser fit, like other brands of snow pants (Saga, Planks, etc.). Buy a size or two up if you want a styled fit!

Skiing. LikeThe fly for bathroom. Do not like the side zipper as it is a hassle putting the non detachable shoulder straps on.

Based on the previous NF Anchor bib, a few minor complaints are durability and the lack of zippers on the cargo pockets. but the biggest complaint is the mesh vents on the boot gaiter. Maybe a good idea in warm and dry climates, but riding or boot packing though powder lets too much snow through. I am constantly ending my day with a wet upper boot full of snow. The previous North Face Anchor Bib was a perfect design.
