Bought these for snowboarding. I wanted more of a shell since I already have insulated pants. These fit and perform very well. These are perfect alone in temps from the mid 20's to the mid 30's. Low 20's and below work well with a merino wool base layer. Only had them for a month but so far I am very happy with them. Quality seems to be on par with the price level. Hopefully, they will last for 3-5 seasons...we'll see. I'm 6'0, 175 lbs. and the medium fits me well with plenty of space for the base layers.

I was glad I had these bibs to ski in this year because they are so much warmer that pants. You cannot have fun if you are cold. Also lots of pockets to hold all your stuff. Worth the price.

I'm on my third pair of these bibs in the last 7 years. To be fair, I'm mostly using them for snowmobiling which isn't exactly their designed purpose but they have held up reasonably well. I have found them to be fairly warm and waterproof too, which was why I keep buying them. I am less satisfied with the most recent model, however, as they are lacking some simple features that most snowboarders would still appreciate. The internal snow cuff at the bottom of the pants no longer comes with a hook to catch the laces of your snowboard boots. This lets the cuff ride up your ankle and makes it easier for snow to get in the top of your boots. This problem is compounded by another snow cuff design failure: the cuff is made of two parts; the bottom half is a solid material but the top half is mesh which again allows snow to get into the top of your boots. These problems are only encountered in deep snow when it can get in and under the outer cuff, but I would imagine many users of this product are purchasing a bib (instead of the pants) because they know they'll be encountering exactly that kid of situation.

My boyfriend had been searching for the right bibs for skiing. He is 6"2, 200 lbs and the XL size fit him perfectly. The material is sturdy and I'm sure these will keep him warm and toasty while out on the slopes!

Love these bibs. Fit well, and keep me plenty warm without any restricting movement. Think I'm going to start only wearing overalls from now on. Works well in the resort or on the skin track or getting out into the wild. One piece of feedback, if heading into the woods to pee, the main zipper does not have two zipper pulls, so you have to unzip your jacket to unzip.

I bought this for my husband, and he really liked it! He has a really athletic build, and oftentimes bibs hang off him. These fit in all the right places without being restrictive or too tight!

This bib is amazing! Perfect to be active outdoors during winter, not so thick, not sweaty while I'm actively playing with my kid in the snow. So many pockets (which is never enough) and zippers in the inner legs, in the case is getting hot. So far, one of my favorite North face products.

I am an intermediate skier, and these pants have served me so well. I've taken a couple of crashes in them, and they look brand new. Lots of functional pockets, and then leg vents are great.

I got the short version so it wouldn't bunch up on my boots or bindings. Fits perfect.

Took them snowboarding for a few hours in Northern Michigan while there was a gale warning for Lake Michigan a mile away. Wore fleece pants under and loved the combination. Didn't feel the wind at all, and never absorbed moisture even from repeatedly sitting on the snow to tighten my bindings every run. Loved the flexibility I had on my board in these due to how lightweight they are.
