I am looking for a shoe to walk around Italy in. Just to get out of my running shoes and Keens. My hunt has been going on for awhile, trying to find comfortable shoes that at least you can get 10,000 steps in without pain. I had high hopes for this Naot as people rave how comfortable the brand is. I wear a 9.5 M, have bunions, hammertoes and sometimes, recurring plantar fasciitis. Naot Matua size 41 fit perfectly in length, width and arch was fine too. My issues were it was too tight around the top of the foot on one shoe. I could tell there would be a red mark and maybe a blister. Also, and more importantly, there was no cushioning under my feet. I felt I was walking on something hard. I was sorry to return them.

It looks really nice but the heel area comes way to far up the back of my foot. I've noticed that Naot is doing that more with these Mary Jane type shoes and it's just not working well for me. The back heel leather/suede part comes up to cup the back of your foot but it comes so high up that it cuts into the back of my ankle. Sorry to have to send these back as they are nice otherwise.

These shoes were so cute, but felt too long and too wide even in my recommended size. They did not provide enough arch support for my high arches so had to return. Just not worth $200, in my opinion. Disappointing.

Even though I ordered this shoe a half size larger than my normal size, it was far too small and very uncomfortable, cutting into my higher-volume foot at the end of the vamp. It's a really pretty shoe, but for me it is unwearable, and it is being returned.
