I have worn Naot sandals (size 38) for years, but these were the first Naot closed toe shoes I had purchased, and I was not certain what size would work. I ordered a 39 and the fit and comfort are perfect! I love this shoe. My heel is narrow, but the front of my foot is a broader. The shape of this shoe is just right for me. I like simple design, so I was not sure about the sparkles in front, but it turned out to be attractive and fun. These are great all round shoes to wear with anything. I definitely recommend them! I will note that the strap on this particular pair was a little long, but that was not a problem. I just put a little black hook-and-loop dot (the kind you can get at a pharmacy or grocery store) on the side of the shoe to hold down the end of the strap. Works perfectly.

I was really hoping this would be my walk-around-Europe stylish and comfortable shoe. I think they’re cute, have some style, and would have been perfect except for one design flaw. The interior seam where the collar is attached to the body of the shoe is an unfinished, loose rough edge across the inside of the top front. It wasn’t noticeable when I first put them on, but as soon as I started walking, I could feel it scratching the top of my foot with each step. I’m afraid after walking a few miles it would have cut through my skin. So, I had to return them.

I've tried shoes from the Koru footbed a number of times and almost always they're on the long side and on the wide side for me. These (in my upsized Naot 41s -- I wear 9.5 shoes) are both slightly too short and slightly too narrow. The sizing appears to be changing -- and I know a 42 would be huge on me. The style is simple looking -- in black-- and the silvery underlayment that peeks thru all the little holes is a cute touch. Keeps them from being totally plain, which I wouldn't like in black. In the other colors, the little holes and shiny look doesn't seem like it would add much. The maryjane strap is a bit narrow, but easy to manipulate/close and adjust. Too bad the Koru line Matua just doesn't fit anymore.

Love these, lightweight and super-comfortable, but ran a little small. My usual 41 is definitely too small and a 42 should fit fine. It would be great if they came in half sizes! I have narrow feet and these fit well, especially in the heel, so if you have a wide foot they might not be your best bet.

I loved the look of these, but as often happens with European sizing, they were just a bit too large. I take a size 5, and the 36 is frequently more like a 5 1/2. Very disappointing, since the style, color and cut were otherwise perfect.

I ordered the Naot Matua in the stone nubuck, choosing to order Zappos via Amazon to get a one day Saturday delivery. This was a last minute purchase prior to travel and proved to be perfect for a travel shoe. Overall the fit is perfect for me, a medium width low volume foot with narrow heel. I very much like that this style is more casual with no bling or shine. The black band around the front of the shoe is comfortable and cute. Five stars for this style. I have returned Naot Matai, either too long or too short; Kirei, just didn't fit, and other Mary Jane styles. No return on this one. I will order another color! BTW, the shoe is more attractive than pictured in the online video. Thank you Zappos and Naot.

COMFORT AND SUPPORT: Every foot is different, but I've worn Naot styles with the Koru footbed for years and they've saved me from myriad problems with my feet. For me, the footbed works better than my customized orthotic, which I can't wear for long periods, but the Naot, I can. I often do training five days in a row, 9 hours a day and stand the entire time. Sure, my feet hurt at the end of the day, but with these Naots I can make it through. I can’t with any other shoe. I can walk miles in them, better than in a sneaker. STYLE: I’m not a fan of sparkles, so I had reservations about the metallic behind the cutouts, but I wanted a black shoe that wasn’t completely plain. The design is a bit subtle and doesn’t look shiny or sparkly to me. With that, the stitching, and the different materials, it has a nice look that’s still simple enough for casual wear and stylish enough for something special. FIT: I wear an 8.5 to 9 in other shoes and the 39 Naot fits me well. ZAPPOS' SERVICE: You rock!

Naot shoes are among the very, very few women's shoes that are both narrow in the heel and wide enough and deep enough in the toebox. They are comfy and high quality. They are pricey for me, but I can wear them with no issues or discomfort. So well worth the price.

Great for walking! Bought to wear walking in UK next month. Have been wearing around and I love them. So comfortable! Love this brand--second purchase.

I wear a 5M and these actually fit, and I adore the colorways on this shoe, but the overall look was too clunky on my foot (the heel comes up pretty high). I like the Naot styles with a strap in back better. So I decided since they're expensive, I'd better return it if it wasn't perfect for my needs.

Too tight over the top of the foot. This squeezed my foot and the top looked puffy. I generally wear an 11N or M or 10.5 /10 M , depending on the brand. These were 11s and too tight. I might have ordered a size ie half size up but they lack any arch support, I can't imagine even a wide accommodating orthotics without these being too tight, plus they made a squeaking noise when walking. Finally, where the shoe cuts into the top of the foot, it isnt the stretchy border that you feel, its the thick edge of the suede that cuts into your foot. I wanted to like these, but they're not comfortable, supportive and they're expensive to boot. This was my first

Out of the box, these worked for me.

For me this shoe fit perfectly right out of the box and felt so comfortable! That is a rare thing! I have a wide foot, but these work great! They feel supportive to me and I really like the style. I’ve never spent this much on shoes, but if they last for more than a year, I think it’ll be worth it.

They were cute and were comfortable the minute I put them on! Love love love them!!

These are beautiful, well made shoes that fit your arches right on. I normally wear 8 1/2, but got the size 9 which is a little large. Had to return only because the top of my foot in a bit fleshy and I was afraid the elastic would cause swelling. The elastic band on these shoes is the best I've experienced. On most people this would cause no problem. It you have feet with many problems this shoe is a wonderful choice!

I own several different styles of Naot Shoes but these are my favorite. I like the ribbon running around the top/front as it keeps the front in place without being overly tight. I love the color scheme. I change the footbeds after a season of wear and that keeps the support fresh. Very expensive but they last for many years.

I like Naot shoes and I'd like to buy a pair, but the sizes are so inconsistent it's hard to do that. I've never worn a size 41 but that seems to be my Naot size, except when it's not. The 40 was too small so I'm going to try a 41. I tried another style in which 40 was the right size. Naot should improve their lasts and make them consistent across styles.

The arch support isn't enough to keep my right ankle from pronating. With the cost of these shoes I don't want to start looking for a arch support to see if I could solve the problem. But your service still the best!!! I cannot imagine life without Zappos.

Love the blue and the look. They almost worked for me but the top cut into my foot a bit. TTS.

Not sufficient cushioning in the foot bed.

I bought these a while ago. Thought these would be my go-to spring shoes for work, both stylish and comfy. They felt heavy and clunk, and the ridge of the shoe cut into the top of my foot. I should have returned them but kept trying, and then I ended up giving them to good will!
