Vaneli has done something interesting here making the Pomona and the Dacy so similar. So similar that I was having a hard time deciding, so I ordered both in patent leather size 11 to compare. In person they also look very similar, but there are some significant differences that made the Pomona a better choice for me. These differences made the Pomona more comfortable and stable. The toe box is bigger on the Pomona, and the “footprint” of the heel is larger. The Dacy looks just a tad sleeker and dressier, but only if you are really searching for differences. The Dacy also has a piping around the edge which provides some contrast. Both have heels that are really set back at the back edge of the heel, giving them an unusual look that is still classic, but just a little more interesting. The patent leather is lovely and looks very dressy and of better quality than some others I have seen. Both are comfortable, but my larger size (I would love to order 11.5 size, if anyone ever made them!) means that the slightly wider toe box on the Pomona is much better for me. I love these shoes. I bought both the black leather and the patent leather. They fit like a glove. I wear a 5-1/2. I wear them dancing every week and they are very comfortable. I wish they came in more colors.

Beautiful, classy shoe. I'm a DEFINITIVE 9.5 AAA. VANELI extra slim shoes are the ONLY shoes that fit as close to perfect as a shoe can fit. If you have extra slim feet, buy Vaneli, and DON'T COMPROMISE. Great delivery time too! Unlike other online websites and most department stores now, THANKS, Zappos, for not kicking girls with skinny feel to the side and keeping prices reasonable (well, depending on the brand). :)

I tried 8+ little black boring shoes and returned all the others. The comfort level of this shoe is very high. I stand all day long. There is padding all over the bottom of the shoe. Please order a FULL SIZE up. I tried to ignore this and only order a half size up. The shoe was high enough quality to deal with the return/get a new size. Recommended.

Great shoes. I first ordered my usual size with Vaneli a 7 wide, but surprisingly a bit tight. 7.5 W fit the bill, thanks to Zappos awesomeness in a quick exchange. I usually walk about 3 miles a day at work, 2 down already and the feet are still happy. A classic black pump good for work and goes with pants, skirts and dresses seems to be so difficult to find. Well done Vaneli and Zappos.

This is a great shoe, and I like Vanelis. I would have loved to keep this shoe but instead of being a 2 inch heel as described, it actually was a 2 1/2 inch, which I could not use.

Loved the shoe, but for my feet, the heel was too high. I really need a shoe with a 2" heel.

Finally, a narrow heel to fit! Haven’t worn yet but they feel like they will be comfortable

The reviews I read before purchasing this shoe said to order up in size so I ordered a 9 and a 9 1/2. I'm usually a 9. The 9 1/2 was too big! The size 9 was probably returned by someone else because there is a scuff on the top of the toe of the right shoe. I wanted to return it and order another pair in 9 but there were none available. Somehow I'll fix that scuff because I really like the shoe.

These shoes are way too small. I could not get my foot into them. They cut into my foot. I think this is the wrong size and style for me. Disappointing. They are very nice looking.

Love the shoes but found that the width was wider than usual. I needed to get a narrow width when I usually wear a medium width. The shoes are very comfortable!

Two pairs, two diff colors, one heel is wider than the other. Was it stretched by someone? Tried on by customers too often? Sad….contemplating if it’s worth keeping. Shoe is lovely, well made, runs narrow ( which is what I was looking for). Vaneli is a good brand

A very good looking shoe, and it's quite comfortable. Very true to size and well made. The neutral will color will go with just about anything. Highly recommended!

i wear a size 8 1/2m in all shoes but in this brand a need a wide. it's a fabulous quality leather shoe.

A little snug on one foot with a bunion but otherwise a great fit. Nice shoes with leather so it will go to the shape of my feet! Heel a good height--not too high

Ordered my usual size 7N. Length was all right, but too narrow in toe area. Returned and will try different size when in stock.

I ordered the 8 in black suede and they were a perfect fit from the moment I tried them on at home. However, I was a bit cautious as I had foot surgery in May 2018 and I was worried they were too high. They have a 2 inch heel and I have been wearing mostly flats or low heels because of my foot problems. But I decided to keep them & wore for New Years Eve to a house party. They were fine all evening. They are lovely shoes and since I won't be wearing them all day, they were pretty comfy for me. I'm happy that I finally have a pair of cute heels!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great shoe for long days.

I got these shoes in the black patent and they are great. Walked all day in them the first day with no issues at all. I was wearing tights which helps but also, they are a well made shoe and the heel height is just right. I expect to wear these a lot.

The shoes are beautiful and they fit perfectly. I am so surprised since I have a narrow foot and a narrow heel. I am wearing them to work for the first time and I’m walking all over even though the heel is a little higher than I normally wear, it is still very comfortable and they are good looking
