Not a fan of winter, but these boots make it bearable. They really are so comfortable and perfect level of warmth without being sweaty. So far they have proven to be waterproof. So many boots make this claim but are not. Thinking about buying a second pair to put away .

Very comfy, warm, stylish and not as bulky as the Shellista. I am a true size 9 in regular shoes and went half a size up 9.5 to give room for regular crew socks otherwise they feel so snug with very thin socks. The back pull helps so much in putting the boots on, I do not need to untie/re-tie the laces.

These boots are amazing!! They run small especially if you plan on wearing big socks. I ordered a half size up and they fit great! Haven't worn other than once in a little bit of snow but they feel amazing and are warm and keep the snow out. Can't wait to wear them some more. Thanks North Face for the healthcare discount!!!

These are the MOST COMFORTABLE PAIR OF BOOTS I'VE OWNED!!!! I just ordered my 2nd pair in a month of NORTH FACE BOOTS. Timberland boots, now have some SERIOUS COMPETITION!! No boots feel as comfortable as these do, AND look as stylish as these black ones are hands down!!!!

These are perfect. I'm not a fan of traditional winter boots- they're generally too busy and what's with all the fur lol? I think knee high winter boots are uncomfortable, but I need something more than a hiking boot so the mid calf length definitely works for me. Thank you for making a matte black modern shoe. They are crazy warm and v comfy. Will have these for years to come.

I don't know how any of the reviews have failed to mention how amazing the lacing options are - you can put them through the holes, or around -- which makes these so incredibly easy to get on/off. Perfect for long adventures or just getting up and down the driveway. I adore them!

I ordered the sizing suggestion, which for me was 8.5 (when I usually wear a 9). It fit like a perfect glove (a tiny bit tight on the toes), but with no room for socks. Now, don't get me wrong, the inside is so velvety that you definitely could forego socks, but these are snow boots! Like, if I'm ever going to use socks, it's when the weather is cold. Order your normal size if you're a normal human who wears socks.
They're extremely comfortable and very nice looking. I think I'm going to have these for a while.

Bought these boots for a trip to Lake Louise, Canada during winter. Boots didn't need any breaking in, super stylish, warm and did great on long hikes in the snow as well! Would buy again and recommend!

I love these boots for various winter activities. They are awesome to wear walking around ski resorts/ski towns, after skiing, sledding, snow shoeing and just on a day it snows a lot. They are so comfortable and have a cute minimal stylish design. I don't feel like I am wearing clunky snow boots yet they do everything i need them to do.

I received The North Face Yukiona Mid Boot in black today. Though I suspect I'll need to break them in for extended walking, they were comfortable right out of the box with ample footbed cushioning, extra padding around the ankles, and a roomy toe box.
I normally wear a size 4 shoe, so I agree with reviewers who describe these boots as running small. Size 5 fits me well with enough room for warm wool socks.
The lacing system on the Yukiona is different from others I've seen. I can get in and out of these boots in half the time it takes me to lace/unlace my old pair. It's easier to get a secure, custom fit too. The strap on the back of the boot is helpful in removing the boots, much more helpful than the typical small loop.
What I can't yet tell you is how the boots will perform in the cold weather or on slick surfaces. Winter has been reluctant settle in this season.
