I bought these boots for my daughter but her feet arrive wet every day and she only has one month with the boots that is sad, I bought boots for my two daughters and they both have the same problem

I've been a loyal North Face customer for 15 years. I love their coats and mittens but I will NEVER buy their boots again. When I went to their store I asked for their warmest boots they had, and these are the ones that were recommended. Well, they are warm when it's around the freezing mark and there's no wind and I'm walking. However, if it's remotely below the freezing mark and especially if it's also slightly windy, my feet freeze. And if I happen to be standing for even a few minutes, my feet freeze, even when it's not that cold or windy. Oh and, while they are water resistant, they are not waterproof. ***In short, these are terrible boots and I'm really disappointed.*** So, if you live in an area where it rarely goes below freezing and it's not very windy, then these are fine. But if you live in a colder area (like Ottawa, Qubec City or Winnipeg), you probably should buy something else. As soon as I can, I will be looking for another pair of boots, from another company. Honestly, shame on North Face for making such a poor product. I expected much better.

I ordered the black boots, which in the picture show a black sole. The boots that came have a brown sole that shows on the bottom sides of the boot. Definitely would not have ordered them if the picture accurately showed that. They fit well, but I will likely return them.
