Lovely boot, But more of a fashion boot than a useful outdoor walking boot. Heel is higher than other Timberlands and it felt smaller across the top of the foot. Felt like it would need a lot of breaking in, but my foot is wide. I'm opting for another Timberland.

Beautiful, high quality boot for a great price. Unfortunately the medium-width 11 is more like like a narrow 10.5, so I have to return and buy men's shoes in drab men's colors. Alas!

These shoes are extremely heavy. I kept them because I liked the color and overall design. Besides the weight, the leather took over 3 months to soften. The part that folds right above the big toe was very hard and causing extreme pain. I was hoping that once the shoes get softer, it would be more comfortable to wear. But finally I gave up. These are fairly new, good looking shoes but very heavy and I suffer from calf-to-heel muscle pain for several days after wearing/dragging these shoes. They will be collecting dust on my shoe rack or go straight to the thrift store.
I'd also recommend:

I had bought these and had them shipped overnight for a event and when I got them they were scratched and faded color by the laces looked worn already

I will start by saying that I ordered my regular size. My feet are a tad on the wide side, but usually regular width shoes fit me just fine. Not the case with these. Even when wearing very thin socks, my toe was right up to the end of the boot and my foot barely fit inside. I thought these boots appeared narrow in the picture but decided to try them anyway, but they are indeed just as narrow as they look. Maybe they improve as they get broken in, but there was no way I was going to be able to wear these long enough to find out. The boots overall felt very constrictive.

The boot is way too narrow. I wear an 8 and bought an 8 1/2 and it was way too tight I returned the boots

There was a winter storm in Texas recently and that made me want to prepare for any other unpredictable weather. I saw that these boots were true to size so I thought I'll get a 7.5. They are way too tight, my heel feels like it's right up against the shoe and I can't feel my toes or wiggle them around really. Honestly though in every shoe my size is different, I guess it just comes with the territory of being a half size. Please make sure to measure your size first!

Very stiff when first purchased and will take a long time to break in, buy a half size up if you want them to fit right away

Don't get the light brown. After a few wears it was already scuffed up and creased everywhere from minimal to moderate walking. Takes 2+ weeks to break in, but not worth it if the look gets worn down incredibly easy. My first pair of Tims and I'm super disappointed.

They came out of the box with a small scratch. Also, the shaft hits the back of my leg making these very uncomfortable. Unfortunately, I have to send them back.

I am usually a size 6 but got 6.5 to allow for a thicker sock. The right side felt smaller, more narrow. I dont think it was my foot because when I tried the Courmayer it felt fine. I returned and sized up to 7, but this was way too big. I retried the 6.5 and just still felt too narrow on Right side. The store I went too only had one 6.5 and I think this was the one I initially returned. So dont know if it was just that pair that was smaller on the right. There is another post where someone had the same issue of one side feeling smaller. Boots too expensive to not feel right so returned.

I have heard so many great things about timberlands. I live in Utah where good boots are a need. I am a big footed girl and usually wear a size ten in Women's. I wanted my boots to be a little roomy though in case I was wearing thick socks in the cold, so I ordered an 11. A FULL size up and I can barely fit them on my feet. When I do get them on my feet feel like they are going numb they are so small. The tongue says it's a women's size 11, but I just can't believe how small they feel. I wonder if there was sort of mistake. Either way I don't feel like I can wear these boots they are so ridiculously small. There isn't any size larger either. I'm quite disappointed, especially considering the price. Other than this they seem really good quality and they are cute, unfortunately I don't think I will be able to enjoy them at all :(

I bought these boots and within just a couple wears the toe of the right boot started to detach. I wanted to return them under the warranty but life got in the way. I still have the boots and they look and feel great but what a bummer to see them come apart so soon. I really want these in burgundy as well but this has caused me to hesitate on buying them.

The boots are comfortable, stylish and the leather upper is great. I bought this from a store, relying on the Timberland reputation for quality. However, after about 7 years or so, the boot sole is cracked, gummy, and sticky to touch. I found this out yesterday by pulling it out of the original box and stepping on a wood floor. The boot left a crumbly black residue that had to be scraped off of the floor. If you buy this boot, do not expect it to last a long time - the material in the sole is designed for a relatively short life.

I got this pair of boots last christmas, and I was so excited! They were gorgeous, a little heavy, but I loved that they had nice tread and were weather proof. HOWEVER - it was probably my third or fourth time wearing them and I was on my hands and knees on a carpet floor setting up a display and when i got up, to my surprise, the leather finish had rubbed off. I don't really mind the tarnished look but the way these rubbed off just made the boots look kind of cheap - which shouldn't happen for the price!!!!! I'd recommend looking at other boots because I was VERY disappointed with these, and I hope other boots aren't so easily tarnished

These run really narrow, are very hard, and the back of this boot must be made of metal and angled inwards, because it digs into the achilles/heel bone really painfully and is so uncomfortable for a shoe that claims to be a walking boot! Can't recommend!

Horrible fi grew up in the 70s and know what leather is like! These made in Vietnam are like hard plastic, returned them, probably take 3 months to break them in

These boots rubbed my calves raw just walking around the house. And to add insult to injury, Timberland refuses to provide a refund AFTER I returned them. I'm out over $100 and don't even have the boots to show for it. Avoid these terrible shoes and this terrible company.

Was smaller than advertised. I wear a 9.5 wide, would suggest a 10.5 or bigger. Loved the boot, she just didn't fit.
