Out of the box these shoes were comfortable and I was able to wear them all day. I wasn't sure if I could use them as casual shoes since they are described as hiking shoes, but they do look more like a slightly dressy sneaker. I like how they are pretty neutral and can be paired with lots. The sock liner is removable so I could easily put in my orthotics. I'm in a very hot summer climate now and the shoes can become a little warm, but I think they will also keep my feet a little warmer in winter months.

This shoe is as comfortable as a sneaker, as durable as a hiking boot, and as stylish as a good looking shoe. I'm traveling in Europe, including hiking and walking on all different terrains and these shoes are perfect for that! Would highly recommend

I love this shoe. My feet don't do so great in super rigid high-top hiking shoes (trust me, I've tried so many brands and many years of breaking in and my feet just don't love them). I still wear them for stability, but it's more like suffer through wearing them. I tried these on a whim for a few casual hikes (3-4 miles or less) and they did awesome. I ended up taking them to New Zealand alongside my actual hiking boots for 10 days of hiking & activities (pack was 25lbs) with hikes ranging from steep inclines, rock, and wet conditions and I LOVED them. They held up great, kept my feet dry, were lightweight, and ended up finding myself slipping these on instead of my hiking boots almost every day. The only downside was obviously stability, as they're pretty flexible, and if you need the extra ankle support, I'd consider looking at the mid ones (which I'll be doing next!) Overall, I definitely recommend giving them a try.

I wore these shoes everyday for 4 months while backpacking Europe and they were amazing. I hiked in them in the pouring rain in Scotland when it was super muddy and my feet stayed dry and warm, and even walked around in the snow in Sweden in below freezing weather and my feet were fine after multiple hours of being outside.

This shoe fits perfectly, I'm going to take it on vacation so my feet stay dry!!

This shoe was amazing. I gambled on buying it two days before my trip to Thailand it it was my go to sneak. THIS SHOE IS SO LIGHTWEIGHT. Great for a casual look or athletic, perfect for morning workout, steep hikes and survived the tropical storms that Thailand threw at me. Then I took it to Colorado for some fall and snowy hikes. The waterproof layer could use more repellent (snow cover soaked in a bit which retained cold more than preferable) but the shoes held up overall (no moisture internally). Love this shoe, and would definitely consider the boot style next!!

Was hoping these shoes would have the same padding as all my Teva sandals I love. My feet are happiest in the summer with my Tevas and I feel I can walk forever! But these shoes aren't as comfortable and are a bit long so I feel they don't look as good on my feet. Keeping them but they are not my favorite fall casual walking shoe as I hoped.
