First of all, I kept these shoes because I have a long history of buying Merrill. I “assumed” I would be completely satisfied as I have been at least a dozen times in the past, thus, I immediately tore down and recycled the boxes they came in. They ARE NOT “suede uppers” as advertised. They are some type of plasticized man made material. Maybe they’re waterproof...who knows? The faux lining is, in fact, faux as it is 100% polyester. They are okay for what they are, but they are markedly OVERPRICED for their quality. These are not even close to the Merrill’s I’ve purchased in the past. I’m willing to pay for leather and authentic fleece lining, and I didn’t get either. Yet the price surely represents one should.

At first I thought this shoe was adorable with the wrap around cuff, but then I felt it looked like a scuff slipper. It's less slipper-ish in back. This sherpa lined shoe also comes in a slip-on which I feel a little more comfortable with because the slide slips off my heel a little bit (although not enough for the shoe to fall off). I really like both styles and haven't decided which style to go with, but you can't go wrong with either. The slip on is a bit more comfortable as the sherpa lining is also on the top of the foot on the slip on, but not the slide.

9 1/2 AA here, and that's the size I bought. These fit just fine--I am a difficult fit, especially because I have very narrow heels. So an open-heel clog style like this is just right for my casual wear. Having a bit of hip trouble, so the thick rubber-like soles are welcome--they cushion the heel strikes. Not the thing to wear to Cinderella's ball, but just right for casual winter days at home, shopping, hanging out with friends. I checked 'no arch support' because I wear slip-in arch supports, and whatever support there may be in this shoe (or any other so far!), it's nowhere near what I need; maybe for others it'll be OK. But thumbs-up here.

I sized up half size as it ran a tad narrow and short. I plan to wear socks with these and they were too narrow/short to do that at my normal size. Otherwise, very cozy and warm. I live in MN and was looking for a slip on, warm shoe to wear while running errands.

To use as slippers, these will fit the bill for me. They are not a wide-ish medium ( not too loose), so I think that I'll be comfortable in them. I don't know that I'd like them as shoes particularly; but I like my slipppers to have a shoe type of quality. I got the dark brown with the light berber cuff. They are my regular size. As shoes, I would not feel that they had enough 'coverage' for a wintery shoe.

Five stars for fit and comfort. Not the most stylish shoe (I wish it didn't have the cuff of fur, which makes it look more like a slipper than a shoe.) But the sole is both thick and flexible, which keeps my feet from getting cold on my concrete floors. The furry lining shed a bit but it seems to have slowed down. I wish this were real sheepskin, particularly at this price, as it tends to last longer than faux, which is why I rated this four out of five stars. All in all, quite satisfied with this shoe because it is so comfy.

Merrell quality is slipping. The sole looks cheap plastic. The faux-fur lining looks low quality. I really wanted to like these shoes. I’ve been buying Merrell for years. I also ordered the Merrell encore kassie slide wool which I am returning also.

I love Merrell. These are not up to Merrell's standards. Quite the disappointment. The uppers feel stiff, as if they are not made of "suede" but rather something else ... the "faux fur" is not as soft as in the Merrell Encore Q2 Ice (of which I have 3 pair and LOVE them). Just get the Merrell Encore Q2 Ice and you'll be happy. Walk on by this one.

I was very disappointed with the quality of these shoes. I have two older pairs of Merrell slip on shoes and they are made so much better than the newer ones. The leather is heavier and the lining is real wool. These newer versions do not feel like they would wear very well. I think they are over priced for what they are. Wish Merrell would go back to making them like they use to, using real wool for the lining.

I ordered a 10.5 to use with socks. I normally wear a 10 but returned the 10.5 because with winter socks they were too tight. I reordered in an 11. I hope they will be roomy enough to accommodate my socks. The slides are attractive for what they are--clunky slides--and the lining felt soft and warm.

Normally wear a 6 1/2 or 7 (mostly 7s lately). Kept the 6 1/2 size as the 7s tended to slip on/off my heel when I walked. I like the look of the shoe a lot. Granted they do have a bit of slipper style as one reviewer stated. Took the insole out and replaced with a thin Spenco for some support when wearing thin/medium socks. When I decide to relegate these to slipper only mode, will put back the original faux fur insole for warmth. Would not wear these for long walks because of lack of support but for quick trip to local store, would be fine. Since I have a dog, these are nice to wear after work for quick in/outs Especially like the easy on/off convenience of this shoe.

I returned these because they are too tight and don’t stay on as well as the previous Merrells. They are not warm, are lightweight, and don’t give the confidence om ice if the previous Merrells.

The shoes don't look like the photo. I expected black suede. AND they smell like a care tire!

I'm returning these shoes because of the overpowering chemical smell!
