This boot is comfortable enough for what it is, but I'm really disappointed, as I was looking for a replacement for the Merrel Captiva tall boot (which I LOVE and which I have bought twice and worn to the ground both times). As another reviewer said, this boot is not tall enough and is too wide at the calf and thus not great for wearing with skirts or leggings, as the other was. Bring back the wonderful Captiva please!!!!

I am always a size 7.5 in Merrell brand shoes, but this boot was much bigger (width and length). I was floating inside the footbed. In addition, the diameter of the top of the boot was very large. The boots are plain and lacking in style.

Boots looked too much like rainboots for what I was looking for. Also, too big.

color was very nice, toe too round looking - boot shaft is supposed to be wide - I am a size 12 & this would not fit jeans inside on my leg - I do not have extra big calves either ;)

Much like another reviewer, I expected to love these as much as I loved my last pair of similar Merrell waterproof boots. But, the fit has changed and these don't work for me. Even though I sized up 1/2 size like I usually do for thicker socks in cold months, my big toe rubbed, while the rest of the foot area was loose. The calf width is too big, as well. Great quality as always, but the fit was awkward and had to return these.

Not my style.

I own a similar pair of Merrell boots in brown that I absolutely love; however, these did not look as cute. They looked like rubber boots and sadly, I had to return them. Not cute at all.

Really disappointed! Like others mentioned in their reviews, these boots don't look good (they look a little cheap). Not great quality...I was expecting more from Merrells. I had the same problem as others, calf was WAY too wide.
