I like these gloves. They keep my hands warm enough and they are thin enough that I can take my keys out of my pocket. I've run in them when it was cold out (-30C) and I had to take them off once I had warmed up.

First time I tried those gloves were in lake district on a rainy & very windy day & as expected it started to get wet very quickly and I can feel the water getting to my hands but the amazing thing is; my hands stayed absolutely warm which was like magic & I think it is because it is windproof ! I still wish Arcteryx make a waterproof version of it & make it more suitable for some scrambling while hiking in wet conditions, once it gets wet, you have to be careful as it gloves gets too smooth on surfaces and you can quickly loose grip.

GREAT for cold wind runs. Have used these maybe 10 time this winter and really happy. My hands get warm after a few miles at temps much above 30 F... can just take them off. At temps below 30 F with wind they are perfect. Quality is the usual you expect from AT.

Have been using this for a while, very versatile gloves, I can use it for everyday as well as for trail running, hiking etc. It is really light and don't feel the bulk in my hands. Windstopper "windproof-ness" is unquestionable. With the light insulation (Hi-loft Windstopper), it is warm enough for many occasions. It is breathable and my hands never felt sweaty. The fit is superb, my fingers can highly articulate to do a lot of stuff just like when they are without gloves on. And the touchscreen is one of the few that actually works well. I think you should add a buckle to secure the two gloves when not in use. It makes storing and securing them way more convenient... It won't add a lot of weight to it even for those (weight) penny pinching folks. Also at times it feels a little tight at the entrance.

The product had varied reviews. I ordered small ( female) they are perfect in size and shape. If I wanted to wear a thin base glove that could be a challenge. If that is what you need then go a size up. I would consider to have small hands so its accurate. They are smart, well finished and the regular quality I have grown to love from Arcteryx. They match all my existing garments. The only thing I would consider is they are thin, I bought for late season skiing and I have not tested them yet. I will be taking a backup as they are not padded at all.

This glove is great for walking around town or driving to work. I use it for both and on light hikes where my hands get a little cold. These gloves work good with smartphones and i found it very easy to type messages. They also passed the beer test...Opening a can of beer with gloves on. It was a breeze and my hands stayed dry. I tested these out under the kitchen sink and the water just beads off of them. These will get a lot of use.

I am a believer in what you use is what you truly like. For the last 4-5 years, I have filled up quite a fancy drawer with gloves and mittens from Arcteryx and other major brands. Looking into it, there are really just a few pairs I ever use, a couple of Ventas and Alpha SV gloves/mittens. Venta are my go to glove for all summer and for high output winter activities. The wind stopper and the small air pocket formed between my fingers and the fabric always keep my hands warm as long as I am moving, even when the gloves get moist and wet. This is a problem when you stop moving in wintertime as they literally build up ice if wet and your idle. When you know of this issue, it is not a problem as you put them inside your jacket while stopping and put on something warmer for the stop. As for durability, they have gone beyond all my expectations, (Its softshell so no sharp edges). My first three-year-old gloves just gave inn when putting down some to sharp tent pegs in hard Swedish rocky soil after at least 200 days of use.

These are my go to gloves for all ice and mixed climbing. If I need to grab the rock directly I can, and do it with more confidence than if I had a thicker glove. Many people want to ice climb with thick gloves, but that will actually make you hands colder! You will have to grip tighter and that cuts off blood flow. You will need a second pair of gloves for belaying in order to keep these dry as possible. I will climb longer routes with two pair of the Venta and then the Rush Glove for belaying and rappelling as they are waterproof and more durable. They are also great for warm weather ski touring. Nice to protect my hands from wind and sun.

Hi there! If you need a warm and not so bulky gloves I can recommend Delta(inner layer) + Venta Gloves(outer layer). -22 is nothing in this combination. This is a good investment. for outdoor activities. Regardless if windy or not. At first you will feel some coldness in your finger tips. But you will be surprise as the minutes goes by you will gradually feel that warmness inside your gloves! Good Investment dont look at the price look at the performance! :)

These are great soft-shell gloves - they're not meant to be insulated gloves. they're perfect for when you need a rain/wind resistant shell on your hands. I use them for warmer ski touring days and also for trail running in crisp Colorado mornings. I also like using them for when there are scrambles on a trail run, to protect my hands from all the rock grabbing. I am around a size 7 for gloves. I usually get a Small/Medium in women's gloves. The sizing on these gloves are unisex, pay attention to the sizing chart! For the Arteryx Venta gloves, I went with a size XS and it was perfectly fitted. the wrist is a little more fitted/tight but this is great because it won't let cold air or snow in. I previously had worn a size Small and found they were "comfortable" but on the looser end. I also love the new Forage color. It's like a khaki green.

Y'all need to bring back the Venta series mittens ASAP. I loved them more than anything and was about to snag another pair for next season. When paired with a base layer thin glove they work wonderfully. You can have them soaking wet on one run and dry the next. Truly a versatile and well made mitten. Why yall stopped making the mittens does not make sense to me. Should be paired with an ultra-thin glove layer but works fine without under standard conditions. Not sub-zero mittens by any means.

These are what I would expect for a lightweight softshell glove. They fit well (no giant folds of extra fabric at the fingertips) and are snug enough at the wrists. The mitt versions are definitely my favourite (and obviously quite a bit warmer), but when I need finger dexterity these work well.

I have the Arcteryx Rivet gloves (my favorite, warm, comfortable, fashionable, but poorly made) and the Alpha SL (fashionable, but useless, not warm at all), and the Venta gloves. The Venta are better fitting than the Rivet, maybe not as comfortable or as fashionable as the Rivet, and certainly not as warm. They do, however, seem to be better made than the Rivet gloves. Any gloves are better than the Alpha SLs.

I was hesitant when buying these gloves as some reviews were pretty negative. After trying them on 2-3 times in the physical store, I decided to go for it and I can't say I regret it! These are great gloves that sit perfectly in the every-day commuter glove/hiking glove. Outer is a DWR treated soft-shell material that won't take too much beating so don't use them for cutting down trees and other physical jobs as they weren't made to handle that in the first place. Lining is a soft, medium warm liner that will keep your hands warm all the way down to 2-3 degrees C and maybe even lower if you have enough layers on your torso. Fit is perfect and they definitely fit like a glove! I am usually a size M (8) when it comes to gloves but I'm rocking these in size S as they fit more snug and offer more dexterity. I do understand that these run a bit larger then they should so I think that Arc Teryx is missing out on sales when it comes to people with smaller hands. Reason I gave them 4/5 is because they are missing a "loop" (they do have one that was used to keep them together in the packaging) at the cuff that could help with putting them on as they do sit a bit snug around the wrist. Something that Mechanix Original mastered a long time ago.

Fit a little on the small side. Nice material, and so far seem to be very waterproof in the snow. Not as warm as I was hoping, but good for high output activities when it's not too cold.

I got here around a month ago, they are great in mild temperatures but when it goes anywhere below 10c they don't keep much heat in.

I purchased my pair in 2019. They are a tight fit to put on, and the piping has peeled away from the glove, probably from my pulling the gloves on. The good. Once on, I love the feel, dexterity and the job they do keeping hands temperature regulated while moving in cold weather. I've used these with comfort in temps ranging from 10-15 degrees up to 50 degrees. Easily my favorite pair I own. The not-so-good. Fitment. Once on my hands, perfect. Getting the gloves on my hands is pretty tough. The wrist, which feel snug and secure while wearing them, does not allow for my hand to slide in very well. Without some sort of loosen/tighten system it's a trade off. Also, the touch screen doesn't really work with these gloves, my I-Phone w/screen protector, which then requires my taking gloves on/off more often which is difficult because of the narrow wrist opening. This has caused the piping to become torn away and replacement required. In the end, even though the gloves didn't last 2 full seasons without tearing, and the difficulty I have getting them on and off, the fact that once they are on my hands it just feel right. Durability costs the one star, but the serviceability and reliability of the gloves is 5-star.
