I bought these in a 9 wide, but they were a normal width, not really wide. My bunion was squeezed into the shoe, and this was without any sock! Also, the boot was very tight around my heel, and if worn, would rub. With those factors, I’m sending them back, but will try sizing up a half size to see if that’s helpful.

The Good: they're so comfortable, like a sneaker. They're lightweight, and they don't hurt the width of my foot or feel cramped. I can wear wool camp socks and still wiggle my toes, in my usual size 9. The Bad: I wore them to play in the snow with my daughter, and after about a half hour, my feet were cold enough to be a distraction. The Ugly: my socks were slightly damp in places when I took my boots off. AND I nearly wiped out on the ice. Not good. There's just not enough traction on the bottoms. I would like to give them the benefit of the doubt that somehow snow got in the top, but I don't think so. Also, just sitting in the car today, my feet were cold again. Unfortunately for me, I bought my pair on Amazon and can't return them since I wore them. Rookie mistake. Always stick with Zappos! They may be the same company, but they are NOT the same quality service. Fortunately for me I DID buy my mom's pair here, and I can return those and get her some trusty Sorels. I'm disappointed in Columbia as I have always thought of them as a workhorse brand.

As others have commented, the boot is smaller than regular sizing. I have an average foot with no oddities and generally am a very predictable fit. These run small in depth- the toe box is quite snug. I have not tested these out in the conditions they are meant for but am optimistic that the low temperature rating will hold true once winter takes hold. I am also a bit concerned that the traction will be aggressive enough. Again, the jury is out on that until I'm walking in hard pack snow and ice. Overall, they are cute.

I loved the style of these boots. However, they run small and they do not offer wide widths. In fact, most of the boots are not offered in wide, which I don't understand.

I read the reviews and ordered a half size larger, I could get them on but they were too tight. They were well made and I really liked the style...just too small.

I wear a size 10. I ordered a size 11 and could barely get my foot into these. Very tight all over. Too bad, because it's a cute winter boot. It's crazy that they run so small.

The left boot was somewhat narrower than the right boot. The right boot was fine. Love the boot but can't wear one boot that is to narrow. I tried on boots with a light weight sock. Have to send them back.

I had ordered these shoes in a 9 and they were small. I ordered a 9.5 to compare. The 9.5 came in a shoe box that was not Columbia’s. They barely fit in it. It wasn’t Zappo packaging. When I tried the shoe on it was still too small. I compared the 9.5 to the 9 and they were EXACTLY the same size. The color was slightly different. I think the 9.5 shoe is a fake. The size, packaging and color were all off. Both pairs are going back and this certainly makes me wary of shopping with Zappo. I need to know I can trust them and right now I don’t think that’s possible.

Pretty, delicate, keep your feet dry and warm. Comes with an extra pair of laces. I love them!!

These boots were comfortable. They kept my feet warm and I was comfortable wearing them all day at work.

Very cute and very comfy. I wear 7 1/2; ordered 7 1/2 and they fit fine; however, I can only wear with thin socks. I'm sure an 8 would have been better but, I opted to keep them.
