I purchased these on black friday special, shipping was quick. I ultimately returned these because theyre HEAVY! I did not test these in cold weather but with 600g of insulation i thought they should be very warm and had good traction on the bottom. These are very tight when you put them on and difficult to remove. I have a bad knee and the weight of these instantly irritated my knee with each step, combined with the tight fit they did not work for me. I did size up half a size per other reviews and they fit.

Ran wide and felt clunky to walk in. Soles were rigid which makes for sore feet if snowshoeing.
Nice styling and solid construction. Nice looking just wasn't enough.

I've bought so many winter boots, always in hopes these are the ones. I'm a dogwalker in Vermont. I deal with ice, snow, cold, you name it, I deal with it...I purchased these and have worn them for over two weeks and feel I can give a fair review.
They fit snug. Any boot I've ever received in my size has always been loose. So I'd suggest going up 1/2 a size. My feet do feel wet after I walk, but I'm assuming because they are sweating, so I do actually believe they are waterproof. My toes, not my entire foot, gets super cold part of the time, but I feel I have bad circulation because I have never owned a boot that has kept my feet warm.
These boots are crazy stiff, they are beasty and I do not slide in them at all, inside or out. Snow does pack really well in them, so going from outside to in...be careful. I do wear them for a couple hours and switch them out and then a little more each time. I would suggest never to wear them a solid day because they hurt bad. The top of the boot pushes into your leg and it hurts, because of being snug my foot goes numb at times. After two weeks, I can wear them almost all day, but am happy to switch them out...all in all, expect for them to take a long time to break in otherwise you wont like them.
With all this said, once they are fully broken in, I'll like them alot.. but fear that maybe next winter.

I'm a postal worker so I was looking for a good waterproof boot for winter. These are HEAVY and they come up to my mid calf. Very stiff too, even after a year. It hurts to walk after a couple hours and felt like my leg was going to buckle for a couple days after wearing them all day. Definitely felt damp inside after 8 hours stomping through the snow. Disappointed. But I never slipped on ice wearing them at least.

I am female and generally wear a size 9.5 in women's. The women's 10 was way too small so I bought a mens 9, which was still too small! These seem like a great boot, but are really small and do NOT run true to size

I love the colors but, any cushion if I compare with my "Columbia Women's Bugaboot 200g Waterproof Winter Boots" really desappointed for the price that I paid

Be careful about returning items. I have been waiting for 3 weeks for them to return the money I paid for the first pair. THEY sent the wrong size. I purchased the correct size again when they seemed so helpful on the phone but I am now waiting for them to return the money for the first pair that they incorrectly sent.

Bought these hoping that they would do the trick in keeping my feet warm and my toes from hurting from the cold weather. Very disappointed, especially for the price tag. After just 15 mins, my toes hurt from the cold and feel like I'm just wearing my tennis shoes.

Short strings. Very tight to get foot into. No arch support at all. Too bulky to walk in. They are warm but made my feet hurt.

I wanted to like this boot, but the footbed is completely flat. like, there's *literally no arch support at all* (I don't have high arches). It may as well be a sandal sole. I have no idea why they'd design it like this, maybe you're meant to add your own inserts? I'm not fussing with inserts and adjusting them every time I lace up my boots, especially at this price point.
It seems like it could be a great boot eventually, like this is gen 1, but gen 4's the only one worth buying. They're warm (not any warmer than your avg winter boot), very waterproof, but clunky and a bit awkward to walk in. I normally wear size 9.5 in sneakers and 10 in boots, and I could have gotten away with a 9/9.5 in these. even so, they'd still be clunky.
Sometimes a clunky boot works better with traction on snow/ice and with snowshoes, but in this case it's just annoying. I couldn't enjoy my hike because these boots would get in the way every few steps.
Half way through my normal hike, my feet were killing me and I ended up cutting it short.
I'll always pay good money for quality gear, but these were disappointing and I'll stick to columbia for clothes, Merrell for boots, and La Sportiva for sneakers.

Poor SupportGreat Support
One of the eyelets was not sewn in - stitches missing - and pulled out the first time I tried on the boot. If everything else had been great I would have just reordered. The laces do not easily slide through the eyelets making it difficult to get a good fit. There was no side support, ankles were very wobbly. Although the footbed was pretty hard I did not feel any contoured support. All in all kind of a glorified snow sneaker, just not enough support to qualify as a real off road outdoor boot. If they are really as warm as claimed they would be a great winter boot in a northern city, they truly are good looking, for me they are an ankle twister.

Uncomfortable to wear couldn't stand straight without the back digging into my calf, even with the laces being unlaced 3 holes. I couldn't handle it after 3 hours I had to go home to get my sneakers on.

Ordered for the winter, it's Sunmer so I can't really test out how well they keep my feet warm. They are a heavy boot just from trying them on . I'm keeping my fingers crossed that they keep my toes warm since I work outside with the planes for UPS! To me the fit seems ok, but I ordered 1 size up from all the other reviews. I plan on wearing atleast one thick pair of socks with them , so I'm glad I ordered up in size!

I bought this boot because I need good tread for walking and hiking in the snow. The boots do have decent tread on them but they are not better than other brands I have owned. I ordered a 9 1/2, because the chart and reviews recommend sizing up. I normally wear anything from size 9 to size 10 ( I do have narrow feet) , so I hoped by purchasing the in-between size the boots would fit. However, they are very loose and bulky, even with thick wool socks. I have only worn these boots about a handful of times, the temperature was between 20 degrees Fahrenheit to 0 degrees Fahrenheit, and my feet were cold even with wool socks. Also, after I wore them for the first time, I set these boots on my carpet to dry and they stained my carpet. I only walked in clean snow, so this is very puzzling to me. I cannot return these boots because of their return policy. How are you supposed to test out winter boots if you don't wear them outside?

I paid a lot for these boots and expected to like them. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed. They are very tight. Where the foot connects to the ankle is extremely tight and I have to practically unlace the entire boot to get my foot in. Once the are on, I feel like I am walking in ski boots. I am a mail carrier and need to move my foot constantly from the gas to the brake and I feel these are not going to work. I have not even tried them for fear I won't be able to drive
