Bought shoe to battle fatigue related to long hours on feet. As hoped, shoes fit well and are suitably cushioned. Solution found.

This is my second set of Merrell open back loafers, only because the first set lasted 19 years. I bought an oversized set while on the road due to a bad situation with my feet and gout. The easy on/off of these loafers made the worst part of my day (putting on shoes) much easier to take. Once I got the gout cleared up, they just became my favorites because of their comfort. I used these shoes for everything including wading in creeks, walking through snow and relaxing near a campfire because they are just great to wear and seemed indestructible. In the 19th year though, they were starting to show some wear, and the soles had gotten a bit slick, so it was time for a renewal. My only surprise was that I could no longer find them in a shoe store, the only place I could find them was here on the Merrell Mothership!

This shoe is lightweight and sooo comfortable. Great with jeans and/or casual slacks.

This is my 6th pair. Comfort and convenience. Try a pair.

These shoes were a Christmas gift for my son but I'm returning them only to order the same shoes one size smaller. I'm thrilled because he is very hard to shop for but he loved the shoes. Anytime he keeps an original gift it is a victory.

OK I'm in love with this shoe. I've never worn this style of shoe but have always wanted to try one. Unfortunately I think it was a matter of the wrong size, but I didn't care for how they stayed on my feet and again that problem with comfort of my right toe. I am going to try the next smaller size. I hope you folks don't mind that I'm trying a lot of your mocs. I really like the look of them and the feel of some of them, but I've got to find the right fit-look combination and the local pickings are slim. You understand, I'm sure. I'm also trying different insoles in them to see if that makes a difference.

I needed them for arch support, which they do perfectly. Not very soft as other brands but comfortable. They run small or should I say tight but it takes the shape of my foot.

I have worn Merrill shoes for several years - won't wear anything else.

I bought these as replacements for my last pair. Hope they last as long.

Very comfortable. This is my third pair...

The back lip folded comfortably for me to wear as a slip on full support shoe. I miss the classy map pattern on the sole.

I am pleasantly surprised with the arch support in this shoe. I wear it at work everyday and it is super comfortable.
