Use for cold weather light hiking, and general use outdoors. Super light, super comfy. Insulates well for its weight.

Perfect weight, easy to layer. Comfortable with a t-shirt at 30 degrees, or add a long sleeve and a base layer for cooler temps. Great jacket!

I bought this as a light weight thermal for a trip on the AT in Oct. A hurricane hit the first day and as I waited to put my tent up in the downpour, this hoodie warmed me back up quickly. It was exactly what I needed for a light weight thermal. I highly recommend it.

Fit is great and it's light. Good weight vs warmth ratio.

No issues. Fit is great. Works as well taking the kids to the bus as it does camping in the backcountry.

My only down jacket was the Floodlight for the last 2 years, and it felt like overkill for most summer mountaineering. This is a much more packable and appropriate weight to layer between a softshell and a hard shell for most summer alpine trips. It's not nearly as thick, durable or water resistant as the floodlight, however, but if you are going to be doing any bushwacking or travel in the rain just throw a layer over the top.

Awesome lightweight, durable down hoodie. Very comfortable and everything you can expect. Has a pocket for gloves, tucks away nicely in its own pocket for packing, and warm! Cannot withstand long extensive winter days alone but is a good all-around jacket!

I have only worn this a few times as I screwed up and ordered a size too big. That being said, great jacket, nice colour and weight, warm for its size.

This jacket is great on its own or as a layer under my shell. Incredibly warm for the thickness. No bulky feeling under the shell which is a must for me.

This down jacket is by far the best I have owned. I'm 6'3 215 lbs long torso and long arms. It can be very difficult to find a jacket that is long enough but not baggy in the torso. The XL fits me perfectly.

I needed a new puffy for the shoulder seasons and for above tree line hikes in the Whites in the summer. However this past Saturday in southern NH was 30 degrees below normal on May 9 and my new jacket was perfect for the conditions. Light weight and warm with just a thin long sleeve base layer under it. OR rocks!

Well Ok, since I've got so much free time now.... So I owned a previous version of this jacket which I can't remember the name of now. It was a number of years old and developed an issue. But OR warrantied it with no problems. By the way, nice one OR thanks and well done! The exchange was issued store credit for anything I wanted. But I have tons of gear so I didn't need anything more than a replacement for my old jacket. I loved my old down jacket it was great for everything I wanted it for, It got used very often, almost daily in winter. I was sad that I wouldn't be able to just replace it with the same one. So...I reluctantly ordered this one instead. I was worried it wouldn't be as good somehow. Turns out it's tons better (which I don't think was possible). They fixed all the super minor things that annoyed me about my old jacket. Beefed it up and made it warmer but still packs down to the same size as before. Made the zippers, hood, interior pockets, and breast pocket better also. Even the color that I thought I wasn't gonna like (But was on sale) turned out great. All in all this is now my full time jacket for all but the most frigid days. Goes on every hike, camping trip, climbing mish, ski tour, inbound day, apres session, river trip, motorcycle ride, dog walk, and whatever else I can think of. Good job OR!

Perfect weight and fit. Looks good and feels good to wear. Fits a little bigger than I expected but works really well for layering. Great option for a high quality light-weight down jacket.

Bought this hoody in Medium (a size smaller then I usually wear) to fit under my backcountry shell on cold descents. Weighs next to nothing and takes up very little room in my pack which is exactly what I was hoping for.

Bought this hoody in black in a size large for around town, travelling, and as an extra layer for resort skiing on extra cold days. Don't know how OR pulled it off, but this jacket breathes better than any other down jacket I've ever had. Winner!

Really good loft and warmth for a very light jacket. Excellent fit too. Fits over my baselayers and shell but not too loose.
