Boots seem comfortable around the house but after wearing them hiking I can safely say one of the worst boots I have ever purchased. Where the toe bends digs in and from the ankle up they dig into the shins so much that you basically have to wear them barely tightened. They also run 1/2 size small. Now they will be dust collectors in the back of the closet.

Question: I bought the same model from Amazon. The boot is perfect. I have a question about size. The pair fits my feet but I'm a little uncomfortable with pressure that is from upper side not front not back. Does the boot open a little space after a while of using?

Junk! I bought these a couple years ago and had them on a shelf until my current boots wore out. The plastic above the soles cracked and fell off after wearing twice. Columbia would not warranty because they were purchased over 1 year ago.

I bought it 2 or 3 years ago; but today was the first time I wore the boots, hey I live in CA, we dont have snow here. I stored it in a shoe cabinet all this time. I noticed some discoloration on the rubber part when I put them on; but NBD since I cared more about the functionality. I spent an hour in snow when I took them off the rubber part just fell apart, it feels very crunchy to the touch. I expect boots to last longer than 2-3 years with rare use, let alone no use.

I bought these boots through amazon and 8 hours in and my foot was getting wet. I found these to be comfortable and warm but unacceptable since they are not waterproof. Kinda defeats the purpose of a snow boot.

I bought this boot twice in 3 years. Each pair had the sole peeled off from the upper portion of the boot. I will not buy a third pair. Cheaply made and too expensive for the low quality. I will buy Cheaply made shoes at Walmart for 60 percent less.

Never received the boots I ordered. Bought online and got a potential delivery date. The date the delivery was supposed to be made I was notified that they were out of stock! Which was over a week after I purchased. Very poor job of communication with stock and delivery.

Columbia Bugaboot II was the best winter boot I ever wore. Until the second year. After only wearing a couple of times the first year I stored the boot in my closet for the next season. When lacing the boot to wear in a recent snow the first boot laced up fine. When I bent down on a knee to lace up the second boot the first boot complete split open from the toe, down the complete side a total of about 10 inches. When I checked online for a warranty I found that the boots had a 1 year warranty. That unfortunately was how long the boot lasted after only a few uses.

I bought one pair in Dec. 2022 and within three weeks bought a second pair. Why? The fit and comfort was extraordinary. Little did I know the boot would be leaking like a sieve within four months of winter use. I contacted Columbia by telephone and after twenty minutes on hold the bad news came. Columbia is sorry but they only stand by the items sold directly from their website.

Purchased to replace Bugalite boots, same size, but these are at least half size too small. Style is also very different.

The boot is good and all with the exception that it is claimed to be water proof and it is not waterproof at all. I have walked through wet grass today and my feet are soaked. I bought these specifically because of the waterproof claim. Not ten steps into wet grass and I could feel the water soaking my foot.

The stitching came apart already. Only a few months old & are coming apart at the seem. It was a concern my husband had when he examined them but once he put his foot in the boots they were sooo comfortable so he was hoping they would hold up. Unfortunately they didnt These are the only boots that has the perfect arch support he needs to work most of the day pain free.

These boots felt great the first few times I wore them. The fit on my foot is excellent and they're super lightweight. The soles have good grip on snowy inclines and overall the boot is quite functional. My only initial complaint was that the stretchy laces don't hold at all so it's a bit of a pain to lace the boots tightly. The biggest issue that I have run into after about a month, which makes the boots almost unusable, is that the upper part of the boot folds in and pushes into my ankle whenever the toe lifts up - such as when walking uphill or stepping on uneven ground. This crease pushing into my ankle is painful and causes me to alter how I walk to avoid the pain. This issue is a huge bummer for me because I thought I had found some great boots but now I cannot rely on them for covering any long distances due to the pain. You can see the crease in the photos coming from the third lace eyelet up from the toe.

Several eyelets on my boots have broken and I have no way to have them repaired. Customers of Columbia boots should be warned the same eyelets are still being used on many of their boots. Those eyelets broke very easily.

This boot is pretty substantial in its physical appearance. This doesnt really come across in the stock website photos. That, coupled with 200g thinsulate lining should make for a super toasty boot or so youd think. Personally I am not really impressed with the warmth that these provide over an extended period in colder temperatures. I first used these during the Buffalo Blizzard of 22. At which point I was out shoveling and snow blowing for 30-45 minutes at a time before having to come in to warm my hands (and to a lesser degree my feet). But I was really surprised that my feet started to get cold when out for such a short time. Granted the temps were in the teens. I also found that with the large size of this boot makes driving my 4Runner dangerous because the boot rested on both the gas and break pedals. So I will not ever recommend driving in them if you have large feet (14). On the plus side the boots are super comfy, very well made and the grippy sole saved me a number of times while tending to the snow which made the boots worth the purchase.

I purchased the 12w I'm really an 11. I wanted room for thick wool socks and liners. They didn't fit with a normal thin sock. I now have to order a 13? I've never had a 13 anything lol.

These boots are rated to keep your feet warm in temperatures up to -25 degrees, but my toes were freezing in only 5 degree temperatures.
