I ordered these for my son in law. He carries mail and walks 10 miles a day. They are so warm and comfortable. He loves them.

Absolutely The boots are perfect for the winte I love them

Top notch boots. Will definitely get the job done in the north/midwest winter. Don't have to worry about getting wet or slipping on ice. The traction is pretty good! Very satisfied with my purchase.

I bought this for my husband, and he loves them he said that they are perfect for the coldest weather and waterproof is just awesome.

Great boots. Use for outside construction work in winter. Got 2 years out of last pair. Warmer 600 mg insulation that other at 200 mg.

So i spent about a month searching and researching waterproof boots at 7 different stores. I went to the COLUMBIA store at the Grove city outlets and found THE BUGABOOT. I work outside all year round, so i need a boot that is 100% waterproof, reliable, durable, comfortable, and dependable that will keep my feet warm and dry in the rain and snow. Success. I found THE BUGABOOT 3 XTM BOOT. This is the perfect boot for trekking through deep snow and heavy rain. I was sold on THE BUGABOOTS reliability, durability, dependability and comfort. I recommend ordering a half size too big with these, too allow for socks or wider feet.

Very good fit. Very warm and durable. It's a little hard to take off because of its height and snug fit. Love it though.

Good fit (size 15, narrow foot) and warm. The asterisk in the title is because I ultimately returned the pair I got because of what I suspect to be manufacturing variance. The left boot fit great, but in the right boot, my foot struck the insole weird making it rest slightly skewed to the left, causing my big toe to rub the inside edge of the boot and my foot to hurt overall. I've never had this issue with any other shoe or boot before, and if the right boot had fit as well as the left, I'd have kept them for sure. I'd have ordered another pair to check, but I'd gotten the last size 15.

They hey look a little too blocky to me, but keep your warm. I haven't worn them in extreme cold, just 20s

Really great boots warm and my feet was nice and toasty ..

I received these boots as a replacement for the previous years model which had a design defect that allowed leakage. The replacement boots were not very appealing to me so I choose these boots instead which were a step down. I am 57 years of age, 5'10" 200lbs. Over all I like these boots. They are tight so I went up 1/2 size from 9 to 9.5, that being said I believe that with additional break in the boots will loosen up. Right now I am wearing a light sock with them but after a few more wearing I think a heavy soak will work fine. Now these boots are made for activity, they are small in size so they don't look like clown feet but due to the smaller size they are not as well insulated as others. I took them trap shooting in freezing weather for 3 hours and my feet stayed warm. They flex well at the ankle and are one of the tallest boots Columbia sells which is good. Constriction is solid and materials appear good quality. Only three negatives of these boots. - Shoot laces are way too short, you will need to buy a pair when you get the boots. Stupid mistake that they choose not to correct. - Their is no pull loop at the back of the boot, this is their tallest boot yet they provided no way to pull it on. What idiot came up with this. This is the type of mistake you don't get from more perineum brands. - The top two eye lets are not hooks, this was another really sloppy mistake with a tall boot. You will have to unlace the top and maybe the second hole when ever you put them on. Again shows very poor design you don't see in high quality boots. For the money a good boot with some functional flaws. I point these flaws out so that buys will be aware and hope that Columbia takes it to heart and stops making these mistakes which hurt their brand.

I read a lot of the reviews about this boot and the consistent message was that the boot ran "a little small." I wear a size 9 and I ordered a 9.5. The 9.5 was way too small even without a sock on. Make sure you order at least two sizes up depending on the thickness of the socks you plan to wear. Other than the sizing, this boot appears to be another solid product from Columbia. I will have to post a followup to this review when I get the correct size boot.

Quality looks up to par, for sure. Was disappointed they ran small compared to other boots I own from Columbia. Will have to send back for a full size up. Other than that no complaints of appearance in person or quality

I was alway a tru Columbia outdoor gear guy. However never try they footwear but with this choice I made I'm glad I did.

They changed the top loops on the boot from a hook type thing into a hard plastic loop. While still sturdy feeling, it makes the boots take far longer to tighten and put on and more work to take off. They seem good quality still its just a bummer they are harder to get on and off. I find myself looking at them and then grabbing something else for a quick trip outside.

The boots are beautiful, but hard to put on. My right ankle has a really hard time with the corner because the laces are fully threaded. My previous Bugaboot had hooks for the top 3 eyelets, so I could easily open the boot up to get into and out of the boot. Having fully threaded laces, it is much harder. I can un-thread and re-thread the top 3 eyelets, but what a pain that would be. And, the laces are too short (64") to loosen the boot up enough. I'm buying 72" laces, hoping that will help. I'll find out soon. The boot feels fantastic once my foot is in. They feel as awesome as my previous pair.

These were too small. I was trying to replace a model from a couple years ago that were perfect. However, I couldn't get my feet into the same size. I ended up ordering a half size larger and the Bugaboot IV XTM Plus, Omni-Heat. Fit was better with the same insulation. My boots from a couple of years back Bugaboot III XTM worked so good that my Canadian living son appropriated them and have served him well through two Canadian winters.

It's a great boot. But painfully small in the size I ordered. I'm not sure if I can return it since I had to wear it to know. I sized up a half size from the normal half size up I do. (One full size) and it was still tight on my toes!

Warm and comfortable boots! Kind of a pain to lace up each time they are worn however they are quite warm and comfortable. Recommend!
