It is an excellent shoes for extremely cold condition. The fit is true to its size. Very confortable cushioning that maintains the warmth even at the rashest conditions. The materials are of top caliber. The traction is very good and it gives strong grip even in icy conditions. Highly recommended shoes for below freezing climate.

My bf has large feet and it's really hard to find shoes or boots that fit. I'm glad Columbia carries these in Wide as well. They stay warm in fridged Minneapolis winters, without making his feet sweat. He's a daily bike commuter and these have great traction too for walking with the dog.

I bought these for my son as cold weather/hunting boots. He loves them. Says they are very comfortable and kept his feet warm.

Rugged boot that manages to look good and perform. They do not have the lead weight boot feel. Well designed to move as you do. Would recommend. And the sole is pretty good on the wet stuff.

Very comfortable, there is extremely good tread on the sole of the boots.. They keep my feet very warm and completely dry . I live in Portland Oregon, and I do landscape so working outside everyday

Perfect size, Perfect look me atrctive

They're great for warm weather snow, but they don't keep you feet warm in cold weather. The sole has great traction like an real tire. So that means it will slip on black ice.

It was as expected great boots

Wyoming issue no side zipper and the sole is very thin. The overall performance of the boot is above what I originally thought. It has proven to be described adequately. For future investments im planning to get family some of the boots.

The quality and warmer is good for the harsh and snowy winter at Houghton, where I live. Although I bought the smallest size in men's boots, the size is large still and in your youth boots I could not find a smaller boot with this quality.

Great boot for winter hiking! Comfortable on the foot, good support, keeps feet dry. A bit ridged at the top cuff, but breaks in quickly. Toasty warm in frigid weather!

I love the fit of these boots. They keep my feet warm and dry. My only issue is they only lasted one winter. Both boots have a hole in the sole. I liked them so much that I am giving them another try. If they don't last for more then one winter I will have to find another boot. Fingers crossed.

Comfortable cushions make for a very pleasant feeling on the sole of your foot. I have pretty wide feet, so the spaciousness is very appreciative. However I did not give them five stars because two issues I have with them. One, the heel area does not allow for a lot of movement and has caused pain in my achilles with more than a ten minute walk. Two, they have warmth but walking for more than ten minutes in 35F or below, will have your feet a little cold unless you are wearing heavy socks.

Overall I really like this boot. It is fairly lightweight but feels like it has really good protection from the elements. However there are some serious QUALITY CONTROL problems going on in Columbia's Factory. The main issue is that these boots have "200" Grams of Insulation, however the first pair I received had "600" grams imprinted on the Left Boot's Tongue. (600g is used in a similar but different boot model). So i ordered a second pair and this time BOTH boots were miss-labeled as "600" grams. Cant believe nobody in the factory caught this. There is also some WHITE insulation that sticks out around the tongue, due to poor stitching, that stands out since the boots are mostly BLACK. Also some poor workmanship in many spots where GLUE was rather messy and showing. Even some stuck to the laces loops. Overall a nice pair of boots, but I would have expected better QA from Columbia due to the price.

size does not fit,not as comfortable

The first 4 times I wore these boots ice fishing they were great. Very warm and comfortable. Then yesterday I wore them and there was water on the ice, as soon as I broke through the crust my left sock was getting wet. I expected more from Columbia.
