This shoe fit well and I liked the color, but there isn't much structure to the fabric midfoot. The sole is quite sturdy, like a traditional light hiker, but there really isn't any more structure to the upper than a lightweight sneaker. I felt this shoe had the weight of a light hiker without the added support, so I returned it.

Like all Merrill’s these fit snugly and are stiff and slow to break in. They did keep my feet dry walking in wet grass. Unfortunately the toe is very narrow and never loosened up. Had to return.

I bought the waterproof version of the Siren Edge since I loved my regular ones so much for every day. They are my barn shoes for when I am not wearing boots while riding my horse. Initially they worked out great for my flat feet, less fatigue than with other shoes. But they are definitely not waterproof. Not long after wearing them regularly I began to notice damp socks around the ends of my toes on days they'd get wet, and it's getting worse. Unfortunate and disappointing!

not as comfortable and lacked the support of other Merrell shoes I've owned in the past. Not as well made. Hope this isn't a company trend.

How odd that these shoes, so like the Merrell Siren Hikers I bought 6 mos. ago? and love and wear constantly, are so different in feel and support. Had to return them.

I returned these shoes. They seemed to fit, but they were so unattractive. They appeared shiny in some light. The toebox was on the pointy side, not rounded. In future I'll stick to Moab or similar.

I really liked the look of this shoe, and was looking for a waterproof everday walking around town kind of shoe. However, the sole had a weird ridge along the outside edge, making the shoe very uncomfortable. Also the amount of cushioning was not as thick/didn't feel as comfy as something like the Ahnu WP shoe I wound up keeping instead.

I own a couple old pairs of regular Siren Edges in size 8.5, and I ordered a size 9 of the Siren Edge Waterproofs which should have provided plenty of room for medium socks. Not so. My toe was to the end, and the toe box was uncomfortably tight with just a lightweight pair of socks. I even struggled to get them on my feet with the laces loosened as much as possible. This is the third pair of Merrells I've ordered this year where they felt much smaller than their stated size. I had my feet measured just in case, and I still measure size 8.5.
