Purchased sz 7 (like all my other Merrell boots) but felt a bit small. Other than that they seemed like a good every day shoe, lightweight, comfortable, good traction. Will try a 7 1/2 and let you know!

I have another pair of Merrells and in it I wear a 7.5 but this is more of a hiking shoe. These Merrells I needed an 8 since they were more like a fitted sneaker.

I had purchased waterproof Sirens for a few years in a row, but they were heavier duty hiking shoes that had stronger support and treads. So, that was a disappointment to see these. That said, I still kept these shoes for light walking and daily use. There is little arch support, and I already know Merrells run a half size smaller, so got a bit bigger as usual. I did purchase a pair of Moab 2 shoes for my dog walking/ hiking heavier duty shoes, and I love those. So, if you want lightweight waterproof shoes for walking, these Sirens may be what you need. If you need heavier tread and more of a short hiking shoe, try the Moab 2.

This shoe lives up to its waterproof claim. I wish the sole was thicker, pathway stones are felt and sometimes uncomfortable. The comfort is better than many other shoes.

I used to love Merrell shoes. I've worn them for years, with different styles for different seasons and purposes. My feet have now reached a size 12 which Merrell no longer readily accommodates. Since my options are limited, and this style is available in size 12, I tried them, in both the waterproof and non-waterproof versions. I generally like both. I walk a lot, mostly on streets (not sidewalks) and they're pretty comfy. On a trail though, the soles feel remarkably thin. I can feel the rocks and gravel, even on relatively clean trails. Merrell shoes aren't what they used to be in terms of quality and cushioning - I've gotten past that - but these fit most of my needs so I'm keeping them.

Very disappointed as I have worn Siren Sports for years. Very comfortable yet supportive. They do not make that model anymore so I thought this model of Siren would be the same. It is not. It runs SHORT. This would be okay if I had a shorter foot but I do not. I need the size 11’s so I have no option to go up a size. Believe the other reviewers who also say it runs short. Merrell, why would you mess with the sizing?

If you're looking for a comfortable, multipurpose low-profile shoe, this is it. I only wish it came in wide widths.

I love the style and color. After wearing them all day my feet hurt which I am hoping will go away with further break-in time. So happy they are water proof. can't wait to try them out in the water.

These shoes are fairly comfortable, not quite as supportive as other Merrells. My biggest complaint is that after only a few months of wearing these (not every day but at least a few times a week), the mesh fabric is wearing -- it's snagged in several spots and looks like it is cheap and will tear through. They just don't seem like they will last a long time.

As expected with a water proof shoe is quite warm but ideal for cool weather areas in the winter. A long time Merrell wearer and it doesn’t have the same arch support the Q forms did but anticipate it doing the job.

These shoes are extremely comfortable for walking long distances. I wear them constantly. However, they are listed as black but are really lavender/gray.

Looked for an update as my last Merrell's were wearing down on the inside heel. Overall good shoe - found them to be slightly more narrow fitting than my last pair ( over 3 years old)

I thought this would be the perfect shoe. I liked that it was waterproof, liked the harder sole and the design. I thought the length would be fine until I started wearing it. It runs long and as I have walked in these shoes they are not as comfortable as I had anticipated. I do not know if it is the only the length or general design.
I gave it four stars because it still has so many good qualities. I just wish it fit a bit better.

The shoe is comfortable, however, as the day goes on, the top, outside edge, begins to feel tight. I have always worn a size 7 in a Merrell shoe, but this is not a shoe I would wear daily or for more than a few hrs. Not a style I would recommend for someone whose foot is a little wider.

These shoes are beautiful. I ordered the black but they look dark blue to me. The mesh is very subtle. They fit very close to the foot in the midsection, so there is a lot of side support but for me the feel was a little off--not too narrow, just noticeable.

I was very disappointed for reasons other than those I've seen in the reviews. Most others said that the style had changed and they no longer fit them. This was not the case for me. I was actually really pleased with how well they fit. I've had several pairs of this style over the years and I just keep replacing my old pair with a new one. What disappointed me was that these shoes make a crinkle sound. I noticed it when I was taking the paper out of the shoe to try on. I decided I would try them anyway to see if I could deal with hearing that sound all the time, but nope. It would drive me crazy. It almost sounds as if there's a piece of mylar sandwiched between the fabric. I don't think that sound would ever go away. I really was wanting to have this shoe in the waterproof version, but I guess that's not going to happen. I'm not sure how no-one else who reviewed these shoes noticed this. It's too bad, because they fit perfectly and I like the color I bought. I have since ordered the non-waterproof version from Merrell (Zappos only has a tan color which I'm not into) and am hoping this is not an issue with these shoes.

Was definitely one of the most comfortable shoes I've worn yet tho I need something waterproof. Alot of reviews on this shoe says its waterproof but my toes were soaked after a hike. I was very disappointed because they were so comfortable. Just wish they kept my feet dry as advertised. :(

I have purchased many pair of Merrell shoes over the years. I have never been disappointed. I saw these Siren Edge Q2 Waterproof shoes in Blue and really liked the look of them online. Two things that immediately disappointed me was the color of the shoe I received is darker than what you see online. The color of the mesh of my shoe is slightly lighter than the decorative trim on the sides and the shoe just looks "ehhh.... boring" in real life. I really like the looks of this shoe as pictured online. My second disappointment is the decorative trim on the sides of the shoe. It looks like cheap plastic. I'm thinking that within a few times wearing this shoe that the trim is going to rip and look like a cheap pair of shoes. I'm torn as to whether I am going to keep these shoes. I don't want to "not" wear them in a month or so because they look like cheap crap. So that's my review. Not impressed with these shoes.

I had tried on the non-waterproof version in a local store and decided to order these because I did not like the colors offered locally. When these came, however, the sizing was different. These felt tight compared to the others. I ended up returning them for a different brand.

I wanted basically a sneaker but liked look and description. Not enough padding for balls of my feet. And back rides too far up my Achilles. I'm returning.

I've worn Merrell shoes for years and have always loved them. However, this shoe was a big disappointment. I ordered size 81/2 as I always do and it was too small. The toe box was tight and pinched. Since I currently have two other pairs of Merrell shoes in the same size as I ordered and they fit (but are getting quite worn out), I'm sure it's not because my feet have changed. What happened? I'm returning these but may try another style in hopes of finding my perfect shoe again.
I'm giving a 3 star because of my past experiences with this company; otherwise I'd have given a one.
