Cute shoe and comfortable foot bed, but it came up too high on the ankles and the shoe rubbed. Also the top pressed down on my toes when I took a step - it was weird and I can't quite describe it. Back they go unfortunately.

I have a bit of a narrow foot, and was unable to find the size that worked for me. That being said, they are really light and comfortable and I was able to fit my orthotics in them. Had they come in a narrow I would probably be wearing them now. I think the look was casual without screaming walking shoe, and the black would have been very versatile.

I ended up ordering a half size larger so the shoe would accommodate the inserts I wear. I like the style which is a nice step up from an athletic shoe. It isn't as cushy as my usual walking shoes therefore I'll probably wear them for doing errands, going to movies and other activities that are not dress-up but where I want more than an athletic shoe. I haven't had them long so cannot speak to longevity.

Seems like a well-made sturdy walking shoe. I ordered this shoe and the Merrell Siren Edge. I prefer the Edge; it's more comfortable on my foot.

I really like this shoe. But when I put them on to walk around the house, each step it cut into my toes. Bummer because I wanted them to fit! I have to send them back.

I have always found Merrell shoes comfortable and well made. This pair was just not comfortable despite several weeks of trying to break them in. Recently I started wearing a size 7 1/2 after decades of wearing a size 7. My toes are hitting the end of all of my size 7 shoes. In this size 7 1/2 shoe, my foot is close to the end of the shoe but slips to the end, making my toes cramped and the arch support too far back. It also feels too wide.

I should have ordered up a full size instead of a half size, they are still too short although the width is perfect for my narrow feet. People who like to go around barefoot will like this style, the sole is pretty solid feeling at the heel but paper thin at the bend. I need a lot more cushion so I will be returning these for a different shoe.

I returned these because of how heavy they are. Just couldn't see them being comfortable over a long period of time.

Merrell usually works for me, but despite fairly amply toe box, something put pressure on my crossover toes...so these are going back.

I wear a 7.5N, and have narrow feet. The width was not a problem, but in the 7.5 my toes bumped against the top, and in the 8s, my foot was simply too loose, no matter how I tightened the laces. I had to send them back. I was disappointed, because these were great shoes, looked good, and would have been perfect for my walking trip.

These are pretty homey shoes. Going to keep looking.

Not only was this shoe too big, but particulalry with this pair there was something off with the last that was making me pronate.

While this shoe fit me true-to-size, there was minimal cushioning, and due to the shape of the shoe opening they pressed against my ankle bone. Returning.

I really really really wanted to love these shoes. I have the Siren Edge and like them a lot. These shoes feel shorter and less toe box. They hurt my toes and the size I ordered was the same as the Siren Edge. And like another mentioned the shoes are very very deep and rubbed my ankles....even with my custom insoles. Thought about ordering a longer pair....still might do that but I think keeping in mind they are snug in lengh might help others make a decision on size.

I normally wear a 9, but these fit more like an 8.

size 10.5 was definitely on the small size.
