These shoes are very comfortable. However, I am a 7.5 and I ordered a size 8 which fits best especially with a thicker sock.
They are very light weight as well.

I have been a Merrell buyer for a long time. I have very severe bunions, and Merrell products always work for me with a minimum amount of fuss and hassle. They last for a long time, and always stay in fashion. This particular boot is especially cute and feminine with its 2-toned suede finish. It runs true to size. I always know I can buy Merrell with confidence.

I bought these a few weeks ago and slipped them on right away. I've worn them a lot since then because they are unbelievably comfortable. Supportive but also as comfortable as slippers. Nice and warm too, but also surprisingly lightweight. The fact that they are waterproof has been very handy this spring. Great boots!

My fault. I do not know why I ordered 8.5. If I ordered my normal size of 9, maybe I would be happier with the fit. Maybe they did not have a 9 and I liked the price...

These boots are pretty awesome. I purchased a pair about a year ago and have been wearing them on camping/hiking trips, as well as in the winter to stay warm or to keep feet dry on rainy days. Out of the box they were super comfortable, and even after a year they still feel great and provide good support when hiking. They are lightweight and casual enough to wear around town on cold or rainy days as well. Unlike some shoes or boots, this pair is pretty easy to clean after getting muddy and does not smell bad after airing out. While these boots provide great traction when hiking or on city pavement, be aware that on ice sidewalks the soles are very slippery.
Although they have held up pretty well after a year of use, there is some separation from the rubber sole and the suede on the outside of the show where the toes bend. When walking in muddy/rainy conditions I haven't had much of a problem with moisture soaking into the inside, however they are not totally waterproof anymore as a couple of times I have walked through a shallow river and if the water flows over the front of the boot I can feel it rush into the inside from the gap on the side- I remember having this problem pretty early on. As long as your feet aren't going to be submerged in water they are great, but if you do a lot of hiking through streams these might not be the right choice for you.
Overall, I'm happy with the quality of the boot and they have served me pretty well so far for most of my needs. I am a little disappointed that they cannot totally withstand water rushing over the top when they are said to be waterproof and that there is some separation between the sole and the suede on the sides after a year of use, since I plan to have these for many years. However, for most standard hiking (including mud/puddles), rainy day, and snow conditions they do exactly what I need them to do.

I have a narrow, flat foot and these were too wide for me in the toe box and around the ball of my foot. They are cute though, and I think they'd be a really nice lighter hiking boot for anyone with a more normal foot!

I ordered this boot a year ago and black in the size 9.5.
It fit perfectly; able wear thick socks for hiking without losing any toenails. Wore them out, loved them.
I ordered the EXACT SAME MODEL & SIZE; just got Grey instead of black. Boots arrived and they were ENORMOUS/HUGE!!!!!! (Double checked and yes, old pair was 9.5. The new pair in SAME SIZE & MODEL was more like a SIZE 10).
Had to RETURN the 9.5 and GO DOWN to my regular size 9. They fit PERFECTLY, like the old pair. SO WEIRD.
I'm thoroughly confused as to why they are suddenly half a size larger ONLY IN GREY!!!!! My friend re-ordered hers half a size up in BLACK and hers fit properly.
THESE ARE WONDERFUL BOOTS. If you get grey color, order your real size you usually wear. Don't go up half size like you need to in same model in BLACK.

I bought the Q2 winter hikers in November and have never had a better fit and comfort when doing long distance hiking. So when looking to replace my warmer season hikers I purchased the these boots and I have not been disappointed!

I wanted to love this shoe, but the back of the shoe rubbed my heel because it was a little too high and would not be the type of thing that would break in while hiking.

These shoes are really good-looking and very handsome. I loved them on the outside, but was so disappointed that they do not come in wider widths. I tried on my usual size in the one M width that is offered, and it was much too narrow, even though I have had bunion surgery and do not have as wide of feet as I used too. I was sad to have to return them.

The color is not a true black. It appears greenish in bright light.
They feel a little narrow and the pink toes got a little sore after a couple hours of the first wear. Hopefully as they are broken in, this won't happen.
Overall, high quality material and these boots seem very durable. I kept them despite the color not being exactly what I wanted because they seem like great quality. Definitely waterproof during first wear in the snow. They also don't look big and bulky, which is nice.

I have a B or medium foot but the Moab and similar shoes are way too wide for me. This shoe fit really well.
It is not quite as heavy duty as a previous hiking boot I had so I returned it for the low cut model and will continue to look for another mid cut boot.
This shoe is warm and comfortable for lite hiking and long walks and the only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 was that on the mid shoe I'd like it to hit my ankle about 3/4 to an inch higher.
The lower version will be perfect but should be made in a waterproof version - always a plus on the road.

Just bought these the other day to replace worn out Merrell trail shoes and ancient Lowa hiking boots (totally wore them out).
I love everything about these Siren Travellers except that they are not waterproof. Walked along an overgrown path in the rain maybe 7 kms and while my feet were not sopping the definitely were wet. Bought these for the waterproof aspect but sadly they did not deliver.
I should be able to dry them and add waterproofing to the leather uppers so all is not lost but not what I expected.

My old Merrell Siren Drift boots are at least 12 years old, so last year I took the plunge and bought two pairs of Siren Sport Q2 walking shoes, one waterproof and the other not. I wore them happily until our driveway was resurfaced with new gravel and I began experiencing pain in my knees, shins, and where my legs fit into my pelvis. I do my daily walking routine by doing laps in the driveway because the road itself is too hard, and the length and terrain of the driveway is just right.
I assumed it was because my shoes were low-cut and I needed the mid-height for more support, so I called customer service to ask their advice for solving this issue. They recommended this boot and I had to wait four weeks for it to be in stock, but it finally shipped and I tried it on at home. Not only did this NOT fit my foot the way all of the others had, it was hard to put on and take off because the laces went through holes in the leather instead of eyelets and it had a complicated way of passing the laces through the holes AND the loop in the center of the tongue that made it nearly impossible to either tighten or loosen the laces properly or easily.
Once I got them on and tried walking around in them (both on carpet and vinyl floors), the insole seemed all wrong compared to the others, so I have had to return them and am still waiting for a refund to be issued.
I looked and could not find a mid-height version of the Siren Sport Q2 here on this site, but was able to find a pair in my size through another web site and am happy to say that at least THOSE fit properly. The problem with the hooks seemed to have been corrected with metal backing instead of plastic, but when I tried walking in them on the gravel, there is still not enough cushioning inside to keep me from having pain from impacting the gravel, so I have ordered some silicone gel heel cushions and hope they will work.
For what it's worth, ALL of my Merrells say "Made in China," even the ones I got back in 2006, so it's not a quality control issue. This boot just doesn't work for me and I am happy that I could still get the Siren Sport Q2 mid-height boots because they fit correctly. Also, I ALWAYS had to size up 1/2 size with all of my Merrell boots, but once I discovered THAT, size wasn't an issue for me anymore.

Based on the reviews I ordered these in a 7.5 although I usually wear a 7 to ensure enough room in the toe box. The fit was fine, but I chose to return these Merrell Siren Q2 mid boots because the sole felt thin and hard under my toes. These are boots designed for light hiking and comfort is too important to have any discomfort. For light use running errands in cool or wet weather they would be okay, but I that is not what I needed. I would like to have a pair of mostly leather boots made on the same last as the Merrell Moab model. That model has the perfect fit and support for the moderate hiking and many miles I put in on the trails.

Merrell's excellent reputation is one of the reasons I purchased these boots, and they are well made. However, because I planned to wear them during Wisconsin winters, I needed them to be roomy enough to wear thick wool socks. Unfortunately, these boots did not accommodate my medium-width foot while wearing those wool socks--particularly in the toe area. I returned them after trying them on in my home, so I can't address whether or not they are waterproof.

Attempting to replace my old Monarch II I ordered these. The toe box was so much smaller and the shoe was a half inch shorter, even though it was the same size. These boots are more fashionable than functional as a real hiking boot.

Exceptionally comfortable, but incredibly slick on any surface other than gravel. Even after thorough breaking-in the soles are slick on tile, metal and even concrete. If it's even slightly damp, beware! I fell down subway steps in these shoes. I hate to give a negative review, but they are dangerously slippery.

Having loved all my other Merrells, I thought these might be a good all around hiking, walking, and gardening work boot. There is very little room in the toe box so I'll try a half size larger but with so little arch support, I'm not hopeful.

Bought these on September 2, 2019. Have purchased several pairs of merrells and usually love them, but these are the worst boots I have ever owned. I walk approximately 2 1/2 miles a day. By mid December the inner soles were worn out. I tried putting new inner soles in and that did not help. Would not recommend these boot to anyone.
